My iphone is stuck rebooting screen

My iphone 5 is stuck in the reboot screen. I when I charge my iphone it only comes to the white apple logo screen and then its stuck. it does not even do anything, the screen is flickering and after 20 minutes of the white screen, the iphone reboots itself and the starts all over again. ive tried everything, syncing it ( it does not recognize my iphone), rebooting manually, letting it charge over night, nothing seems to help.
does anyone else have the same problem or knows how to fix this issue?
In desperate need of help.
thank you, any tips is good!

why  my iPhone keyboard 4s on 5.1.1  takes up half the screen and I can't get rid of it except by rebooting ?
seems to be a bug, maybe related to some app, but couldn't find the trigger to it...

There is no question.  This "bug" has never been reported in this forum before (do a forum search), yet your 2 absintheasized phone have it...  To "100% prove" this, you would have to fully debug the phone - certainly possible to do.
To report real bugs to Apple, do so on the Feedback page:
    Apple - iPhone - Feedback
When doing so, be sure to include all the pertinent facts - the jb details, all apps, etc.

  • HT1414 my iphone is stuck in the "connect to iTunes" screen! even if I turn it off or reboot it! What can I do?

My iphone is stuck. I tried to update the iOS to get iCloud. Whilst updating the software an error occured (don´t know which) and the screen now is fixed on the "connect to iTUnes". I tried to turn it off, but when turning back on, the apple appears, and then again the connect to itunes screen.
My itunes does not recognise the iphone.
    What can i do?

Leave it plugged in, and iTunes open, and hold the home and power buttons at the same time. This is a reset. The screen should go dark for a brief moment before the Apple logo reappears. At this point, let go of the power button but continue holding the home button. Let go when you see the Connect to iTunes screen, and iTunes should say it has detected a device in Recovery Mode. Click restore.

  • IPhone is stuck on plug into iTunes screen

I plugged in my phone to iTunes last night so that I could update it over night, but when I got up this morning it was on the plug into itunes screen. My phone has been stuck of the plug iTunes screen for a couple hours now. I tried turning it off and back on again, but every time i do that it returns back to the "plug into itunes" screen. I have tried plugging it into iTunes atleast 10 times, and nothing happens on itunes. It doesn't show that there is a device being connected. I don't want to lose all my data because I haven't backed it up yet... If any has any way of fixing this please let me know, I really need it to work. Thanks.

OK so I went to the Apple store and he managed to restart my iPhone by putting it into "recovery mode". I just Googled how to do this as I wasn't there when he did it..
Disconnect the USB cable from your iPhone, but leave the other side connected to your Mac or PC
    Launch iTunes
Press and hold down the Home and Sleep/Power button on the top of the iPhone to turn off the iPhone
Press and continue to hold the Home Button while you reconnect the USB cable to your iPhone, this will cause the iPhone to turn on
Continue to hold the Home button until an alert message in iTunes informing you that an iPhone in recovery mode has been detected, like the screenshot below:
Your iPhone is now in recovery mode. If you have not launched iTunes, you will see the familiar screen of the USB cable pointing at the iTunes logo signaling to connect the iPhone to iTunes to start recovery.
Once you’re in recovery mode, you can either restore the iPhone or adjust the firmware as necessary.
After restoring or upgrading firmware, your iPhone will automatically reboot and exit recovery mode on it’s own.
It seems you will also need a wifi connection to complete the recovery mode.
TIP: If you have backed up your iPhone, click the "restore from iTunes back up" (last option) so when you plug it back in, it will restore from your back up instead of restoreing it to the original factory setttings.
NOTE: The above was really hard for me to get working so good luck! I tried a number of times and didn't get any message in iTunes but got my iPhone into what i assume is the "recovery mode". I'm still trying to get access a wi-fi connection to see if this will work but I will post another update once I can give it a go!
Good Luck! And let me know if anyone successful!

  • My iphone is stuck on the settings screen but the home button and lock and power buttons wont work. I can navigate through my settings but can't get out of them or turn off my phone.

My iphone is stuck on the settings screen and the home and lock buttons wont work. I can navigate through the settings but canot go home or turn orr or reset my phone. Please help):

I had the same situation with my iPod touch 5th gen. You can manually reboot it thru pressing sleep/wake button and holding it up to 10 secs - no data will be lost.. This didn't work in mine, but to some it did..
If it won't work, you could do what I did which is I reset all settings in the Reset part. It won't lose any data, just the settings (if you have just less settings did to the device, which I had). So just configure or tweak things again in the settings when it reset again.
    Hope this somehow helps!

Add me to the list of people furious with Apple about this problem...
...I have just got back from a 2 week holiday in Spain, and on day 3 of the holiday my iPhone rebooted itself and stuck at the Apple logo.
What's more annoying, I'd purchased a data abroad plan from o2 for £50 and hardly used it because I couldn't use my iPhone because it was stuck on the **** Apple logo. o2 will not refund the plan I purchased because I had started to use it (about 2.3MB to be precise).
Good job my girlfriend had her trusty Sony Ericsson phone because at least it WORKS as a phone, unlike this **** iPhone 3G which only has one use - as an expensive paperweight.
Come on Apple, at least admit there is a problem and show your loyal customers that you are actually aware there is a serious problem that is causing your iPhones to become utterly useless.
I'm seriously thinking of gettting rid of this iPhone and getting a cheap no frills phone - at least I can use it to make calls.

  • My Iphone 3g stuck on Apple logo screen, My Iphone 3g stuck on Apple logo screen

I purchased an Iphone 3G back in 2009, just recently it started giving me an issue with loading properly.
It will freeze with the Apple logo, and the loading circle underneath it, Ive tried all the hardboots, resets, etc...None of these have helped whatsoever.
I took it to the Apple store and they told me that it was an unrepairable hardware problem, and that I would have to throw out 269$ to get a brand new phone 3G,
So I said no..but a few days later I tried charging the phone again, and all of a sudden it works as if it were brand new. It has not given me any problems for weeks except since yesterday. It's doing the same thing all over again.
My dillemma now is should I,
    1) Pay out my contract ( which ends in October ) and buy the new Iphone 4, Cost me roughly 400$
    2) Wait until a new Iphone 4G comes out? ( Has anyone heard anything?? )
    3) Pay for a brand new Iphone regular, Cost me roughly 269$
    4) Any other options I have?
Any help would be greatly apperciated, as Im in such a frustrated position ;(

hey there. I had the same problem as you - seemed to be caused by a crash on the app store for me. I freaked out a little too, because iTunes was beachballing when I plugged it in, so I couldn't even get to the restore button under the iphone screen.
But, it turns out you can make the phone enter a full software restore mode, as described here:
    http://www.everythingicafe.com/forum/iphone-software/help-iphone-is-stuck-19333. html
"Plug your iPhone to the usb and then press and hold the power and the home button at the same time it will reboot but keep on pressing it next time it will boot,(let it boot twice while holding) an itune logo will appear and now you can restore, try it it works"
I have just restored the firmware etc now, which got my phone up and running again with factory settings, and now I am in the process of restoring from a backup (seems to be working, but it takes a long time I must admit).
    Good luck!

  • Need help plz my iphone is stuck in a reboot loop

my iphone is stuck in a reboot loop i cant get it to stop itunes dose not detect
my iphone so i can restore it i don't know what to do plz help

I am experiencing the same problem, and i have attempted NO jailbreak or other iphone hacked software. My screen will slowly fade to white, and then go into an endless reboot cycle, or just glow bright white til the battery dies. I have tried restoring with itunes via recovery, and i receive error (2003).
    (EDIT)
I successfully restored my iphone, and it worked GREAT! until i removed it from the cradle, and my screen jumped straight to apple logo, descending into the bottomless pit of reboot cycles.

  • HT4993 my iphone is stuck in a reboot loop how do i get out

my iphone is stuck in a eboot loop how do i get it out

Follow these steps and your iPhone should work fine.
         1. Hold the power and home button simotaniously (at the same time) for 10 seconds.
         2. Wait 5 seconds then reboot.
If the issue presists, do this.
1.Connect to iTunes via USB cable.
2.Hold power and home button for 10 seconds or until screen turns black, let go of the power button, but continue holding the home button for 5 seconds or until the emergency diagnostics screen (iTunes icon with USB cable) pops up.
         3. If done correctly you will see the screen above. Now, wait for iTunes to diagnose the phone, and if nessesary, restore your iPhone.
    I hope this helped you!

  • Ipod touch 2nd gen stuck on apple reboot screen

Hopefully someone can help... For the past 2 days, my touch has been stuck on the black screen with a white apple on it (the reboot screen). Approximately every 15 mins or so, the screen flashes to white as if it is trying to open something, flashes to black, and then the apple screen re-appears. Prior to this problem, I had downloaded some ebooks from the Barnes & Noble EReader App. I have tried holding down the wake/sleep key at the same time as the menu key. This will turn it off, but when I turn it back on, same problem. I have connected it to my computer via USB and it hasn't made a difference. I have tried connecting it to the computer, holding down the wake/sleep key at the same time as the menu key until I get a black screen and then continuing to hold both until the reboot screen appears again. I have tried this several times and nothing has changed on my ipod. When my touch is connected to the computer, occasionally my itunes will recognize it and synch, but then it disconnects itself. I can get it to be recognized as an ipod on my itunes if I hold both the sleep/wake and home buttons until the screen goes black and the apple re-appears where I release the sleep/wake button but continue to hold the menu button in order to get the restore settings, but only gives me the option to restore it to factory settings, which I don't want to do since I will lose everything on my touch. I have read that putting it into SSH would have been helpful, but I can't get into my settings to change it. Is there anything I can possibly do to save my current contents without having to totally reset it?

This exact same thing happened to me today and I cannot reset either. Don't want to restore to factory as I keep my mileage on my device and will lost it and not get paid. HElp.
