My iphone isn't syncing with itunes since I downloaded the newest update today. I have set the preferences as automatically syncing, and the device does not even show up, though my computer does recognize it and is charging it. It worked just fine earlier
It was working just fine before I downloaded the update.
Version 11.1.5.5 of iTunes was just released today. If you update to that, does that help with the recognition troubles?

IiPad is stuck in the iTunes connect screen. I have held the home button down while plugging the iPad in and still nothing. Hard reset isn't even doing anything. It's not even showing up under my computer. Please Help

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

My iPad & iPhone won't connect to iTunes store.... it worked just fine earlier today... but not now.
My daughter also has an iPad and an iPhone and these too won't connect either (use the same iTunes account)

I purchased a Holux M-1200E Bluetooth GPS Data Logger. The device paired with my laptop just fine so I know it is working right. The device will not even show up on my iphone or ipad to pair via bluetooth. Is there a way to pair without jailbreaking??? I haven't had any trouble to date pairing any devic with my iphone or ipad, this is ridiculous!!!! Is there a way to update my bluetooth settings on my iphone 4s to be able to have this device be recognized??? I love my apple devices, but this is very frustrating. I bought this Data Logger for a specific purpuse to help out with my Search and Rescue volunteer activities, and I really need help with this!!! I am hoping apple will help me!!!

It may be the best source of assistance is the manufacturer of the device. I suspect you will need a specific app for the iPhone to get it to work, but the site is rather ambiguous about that. -

For what purpose are you trying to pair them?
Only supported peer to peer apps such as photo transfer or multiplayer games can connect to other iOS devices via Bluetooth. You initiate the connection inside the app running on both devices. -

Is this a global problem that JavaScript is not running on any site? The on/off setting is still available in the about:config preferences editor.

(3) if '''javascript.enabled''' is bolded and set to false, double-click it to switch it back to true. This takes effect right away, but you'll need to reload the problem pages so Firefox re-reads the scripts.
Does that fix it or are particular sites still problematic?
One way that your normal default preferences could be changed is by an extension, and another is by external software creating a user.js file. If this problem recurs, you can investigate both of those.

3rd Gen Ipod won't sync with Itunes since upgrade to Snow Leopard
Hi,
I upgraded from Tiger to Snow Leopard and since then my trusty 3rd Gen Ipod will not sync with iTunes (9.0.3). It mounts in Finder, but does not appear in iTunes. The iPod will still charge, but it constantly displays the "Do Not Disconnect" message until manually ejected.
