My iPhone keep telling me that my iCloud storage is full

Yesterday I got a notification on my iPhone, explaining me that my iCloud storage (basic 5GB) is full. So today I sat down and transfered all my photos to my computer, so nothing was left neither in the Photo Stream nor the Camera Roll. Yet, in the iCloud section in the settings app, it still says that I have no space left in iCloud.
I can't seem to undersatnd what's the problem, perhaps I'm missing something?
Thank you,
Matan.

The problem is your last iCloud backup still has all those photos and videos you just transfered.
Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > Manage Storage > Select your iPhone backup > Turn off Camera Roll (and anything else you don't care to back up)

I received telling me that my icloud storage is almost full.  I need to upgrade my storage.  Can someone help me out with this.  I understand that the 20 GB is only .99 per month.  Just hoping this would be enough for me.  I back up 2 ipads and my iphone on the same computer.  Any help you can give me would be appreciated.  Thank you.

    Okay.
I responded as I did because you wrote, "I have 2 ipads and my iphone that I back up on one computer"
    No worries here.
But hopefully you get/got it sorted.
    Any issues, post back.

  • Macbook air keeps telling me that my startup disk is full or almost full.

Freeing Up Space on The Hard Drive
      1. See Lion/Mountain Lion/Mavericks' Storage Display.
      2. You can remove data from your Home folder except for the /Home/Library/ folder.
      3. Visit The XLab FAQs and read the FAQ on freeing up space on your hard drive.
      4. Get an external hard drive on which to store some of your files after which you can
erase the data from your internal drive to free up space.
      5. Also see Freeing space on your Mac OS X startup disk.
      6. See Where did my Disk Space go?.
      7. See The Storage Display.
You must Empty the Trash in order to recover the space they occupied on the hard drive.
You should consider replacing the drive with a larger one. Check out OWC for drives, tutorials, and toolkits.
Try using OmniDiskSweeper 1.8 or GrandPerspective to search your drive for large files and where they are located.

  • Hi  since downloading ISO6 I cannot receive or send E-mails. My Ipad also states that my Icloud storage if full. Thanks

    Hi,
Since downloading ISO6 I cannot access or send E-mails.
My Ipad also states that my Icloud capacity is full will this affect the E-mails?
    Thank you.

I've done that. But the settings "mail, contacts, calendar" are still disabled. For example, if I want to add a new mail account, I can not do it. Because the option "add account" is as if it's turned off, disabled, as well as my other accounts above this ...
The rest of the IOS6 everything worked out, but with the native Mail app is complicated ...

  • My iphone keeps telling me that it cannot make or recieve calls and that it needs to be restored.

I bought a new laptop and I haven't transferred my stuff over from the old laptop. my phone keeps shutting itself off. I'm afraid to restore it because I don't want to lose my apps or purchased music or my pictures.

Every time you sync your phone to your computer it does an automatic back up.  Go your itunes preferences and click on "devices" and it'll show you a list of any backups you have.  These back ups will have your app data (not apps), contacts, calendar, notes, settings, a few other things store.  To get your content you purchased back see Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Also if your purchases are on your computer you can simply resync after restore.  See iTunes: Backing up, updating, and restoring iOS software for help.

  • My macbook keeps telling me that the startup disk is full.

I have deleted everything on my computer except for my music and I don't see how it could possibly be full. It won't let me download anything. I just bought a movie on Itunes and i can't download it. What do I do?

Use OmniDiskSweeper to see what's taking up space: http://www.omnigroup.com/products/omnidisksweeper/

  • I keep getting warnings that my icloud space is almost full, but I have almost 1GB left

I recently upgraded my iPhone 4S to iOS 8, then a couple of days later got an iPhone 6 (obviously with iOS 8), 64GB. I've removed the backups from my old phone, so in my iCloud, it's telling me there's a backup for my iPad of around 800MB and my (new) iPhone of around 3.2GB. All this seems right (it's mostly photos). I am now getting periodic pop-up warnings from iCloud (running on Windows 7 64-bit Pro) that say "iCloud storage almost full". It's showing that I have about 975MB free which while not a lot, is sufficient since each backup should continue to be around the same size.
The thing that's annoying is that I seem to be getting this warning pretty frequently. I haven't timed it, but it seems like these warnings are happening every 10 or 15 minutes. Is there some threshold of free space that I need to maintain to prevent these warnings?
Would deleting my backup and creating a new one help?

In answer to your first question, unfortunately you don't get allocated more iCloud storage as you buy more devices - it is 5GB free per account.
Regarding the pop-up, I too find it annoying but you won't find a resolution to it on these forums - best thing to do is to submit feedback to Apple and hope they improve it.

  • My phone keeps telling me that i have so sim

my iphone keeps telling me that i have so sim

If it is in fact a CDMA iPhone as listed in your signature, there is no SIM slot.
If it is really a GSM iPhone, insert a SIM in the SIM slot.

  • My iPhone keeps saying i have no more storage but...

My iPhone keeps telling me I have no storage left so I bought more storage not knowing it was iCloud storage, now I can't figure out how to switch some apps and such to be stored on iCloud it says I have 8.0 gb left on iCloud but keeps coming up and saying my phone has no more storage space..what do I do?

You can't use your iCloud account to expand the capacity of your phone unless you subscribe to iTunes Match and access your iTunes music library from iCloud rather than storing it on your phone.
You can delete apps from your phone, and as long as they are still available in the App store you can later redownload them, but you will lose all app data for the app.
If you need to eliminate some data from your phone, consider importing some or all of your camera roll photos and videos to your computer, as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083, or sync some of your music off your phone with iTunes.

  • TS3276 iCloud Storage is Full

I began receiving emails a few days ago that my iCloud Storage was close to full and today I received a message that my iCloud Storage was FULL and I would no longer be able to send or receive emails on any cloud devices. I now know that those attempting to send me emails are receiving a delivery failure notice with the phrase "over quota".
I have purchased additional iCloud Storage capacity about an hour ago, but the same error message continues to appear on the sender's email when they attempt to send me an email. Does it take some time for a new purchase of storage to take effect or is there something else going on here?
    Thanks for your replys.

iCloud does not delete your mail when full, you have some other problem.

Sign out of your Apple ID then back in again with changes
also delete ICloud then sign back in again with new password.
