My iPhone keeps freezing when I tap to check emails, then it returns to home screen HELP

Please help, my iPhone has a mind of it's own, it freezes when I check my my email, it returns to the home screen then it takes about 30secs to work again.

Iphone keeps freezing when I am going to end a call.

My Iphone sometimes freezes when I make phone calls on it. This only happens at the end of the phone call but it is really frustrating because I cannot hang up the call. I called my service provider and they told me it was because of the clear screen protecter I put on my phone. Could this be possible or are they just making this up to get me to quit complaining?

I can't use my iPad for messages. When I tap the message icon it goes back to home screen and vice vers to send when the messages stays up

I can't use my message on the iPad when I touch the icon it goes right back to home screen. And if I use from contacts and I hit the upper left hand writing implement it goes back to home screen.

Try to Reset your device:
Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears (ignore the Slide to Power Off option that shows up first).

IPhone 5s freezes when double tap home button

So yesterday.....I was using my iPhone 5s normally....and all of a sudden the "sing into icloud loop" begun to happen. I quickly searched for a solution to this and tried everything but still didnt make it go away....so I saw that there was a new update...I deceided to update my phone as it may resolve my issue....I updated to iOS 8.1.3 and now my phone has even more problems!!! The Icloud loop still happens....and now...whenever I double tap the home button my phone completely freezes for a good 10-20 second! It will NOT let me kill apps....even after the freeze goes away...the only way to get out of the freeze is to press the home button to return to the screen....if I try to double tap again...the same thing happens! And on top of that my battery life is SUPER BAD! If I am surfing the web for 15 minutes....it will go from 100% down to 50%!!!!!!! What can or what should I do?!???? Is it something wrong with my phone? I have only had it for 10 months. Please ANY HELP would be appreciated!

The freezing problem should be solved by a Rest or a Restore, for a reset, just hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the same time until the screen goes black and then you'll see the Apple Logo appear, then you can release the buttons.
if that doesn't work, plug your phone into iTunes, back it up, and restore it and set it up as a NEW device. See if the problem happens, if not, then there was an issue in your backup. Restore again from your backup and remove whatever you installed last and continue till you find the issue.
As far as your battery life, the most common issue for quickly draining batteries is your push notifications, especially when it comes to the mail .app. Turn off Push notifications and change it to check at a longer time rate, or manually. This will dramatically save your battery life. Hope this helps.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue(s) are resolved.

2. If updating the phone doesn't help, is this only when you connect to a specific wifi network? Or all wifi networks (including public with no password)? If it is ALL wifi networks, you may have a hardware problem. Genius bar would be the next step.

I got the same problem. The percentage of getting this problem is around 10% of all my dial/receive calls.
The problem usually appears when I receive calls. The phone app will freeze, and I cannot dial or receive calls even I closed the phone app, however, most other apps work properly.
Once this problem happens, I will not be able to turn off the phone by holding sleep button, the only way I can get rid of it is holding sleep and home button at the same time to reset the iphone.

My 4s keeps freezing when I go into my messages and there are times when I wont get text messages till 20 minutes later. Not sure what to do, I think the delayed text times might have to do with the sprint network, but I'm not sure why my phone keeps freezing.
