My iphone recently crashed and i had music i had purchased from itunes that i hadnt yet synced to my puter, how can i get it back without having to buy it again???

My iphone has recently crashed & i had music from itunes i had not yet synced to my computer how do i get it back without having to buy it again, im in Australia so do not yet have icloud

Unfortunately you can't.  You could try contacting Apple and asking nicely, but they're under no obligation to help you.  If you can wait until fall*, when iCloud is officially launched alongside iOS 5, you can probably download them all again then.
The small print at the bottom of http://www.apple.com/au/icloud/ says "some music features of iCloud are available in beta now in the U.S. only"
I can't find anything which guarantees it will work outside the US after the beta, but it probably will.  iTunes Match is definitely US only, for a couple of years at least until the legal stuff is dealt with.

If you bought them on your iPad then you will need to connect your iPad to your computer's iTunes and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases to copy them over to the Tones part of your computer's iTunes library and you can then sync them to your iPhone - ringtones are a one-time only download, so you won't be able to redownload them directly on your phone.

  • All of my purchased ringtones and songs dissapeared out of the blue. How do I get them back without having to buy them all over again?

Out of the blue, all of my purchased ringtones and music aren't displayed anymore on my iPhone.
I went to iTunes to see if they were stored there, but the downloads folder also appears to be empty. If I try to select a ringtone I've downloaded before, a popup appears saying that I've already purchased that item and asking if I want to cancel or buy. If I click on buy, then I pay for the item again even if I already have it! The only place I can still see my purchased items is in the iTunes application on my computer, but even though I've already selected sync, the ringtones and songs still won't appear on my iPhone.
What happeneded and how can I get them back without having to pay for them all over again?
    Thank you!

I'm having the same problem on an iphone 4s running iOS8; when i updated to iOS8, all my ringtones went missing, and when i got a £50 gift card for christmas (2014), I purchased some songs from the iTunes store on my iPhone. i downloaded songs from paramore, panic! at the disco, coldplay, and imagine dragons, over wi-fi, and they went into my iphone music library; but when i re-opened the music app a few days later, in a place where i had no wi-fi, except for my 3G phone signal, some cloud icons appeared next to my newly purchased songs, telling me to re-download them from the cloud, when i haven't even deleted them. this has happened twice now, and i had to use up some of my 5GB data allowance to redownload them from the cloud. This is annoying and i need to fix this issue ASAP.

  • I had to sync my iPhone to a different computer an list all my ringtones. Is there a way to get them back without having to buy them again?

I had to sync my phone to a different computer and it erased my ringtones I bought. Is there a way to get them back? The computer I was using no longer works at all.

The songs are still on her ipod.
They should transfer ok but make sure and use the same Apple ID that was used for the original purchase.
Connect the iPod to a computer, launch iTunes.
From the iTunes menu bar click File > Transfer Purchases From...
Make sure and backup the iTunes purchases >  How to back up your media in iTunes
If this is an iPod touch read here >  Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store

How do you get your purchased music from iTunes on to your iPhone if your desktop has crashed?

    1. Open iTunes app on phone.
    2. Tap "Purchased" at bottom of screen.
    3. Tap "Music" category.
    4. Tap "Not On This iPhone" at top right.
    5. Tap on the music you want to download.
    6. Tap iCloud icon to download to phone.
    Hope this helps!

  • Lost audiobooks that have been purchased are gone and iTunes is saying that I have to repurchase them. I have all of the receipts, how can I get them back without having to pay another hundred dollars?

ITunes is saying that the only way to get back all seven of my audiobooks are to repurchase them, however that is going to be about a hundred dollars to repurchase them all and I don't have that kind of money right now. Why are they making me do this and why the **** did they delete them in the first place, because I know I didn't delete them. I am on a MacBook Pro OS X version 10.9.5, processor 2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, memory 2GB 1067 MHz DDR3.

    HI ..
You're sure you signed into iTunes using the same Apple ID used for the purchases?
You can re dowload past purchases for free >  Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store

    Hello!!!
I had 21 songs i my album and after syncronising i only had 15 songs left! All of them from Itunes! How can i get them back without paying for them again???
    Hello!!!
    This realy works??

Where is the backup of the media and other important files from the computer?  Ultimately, it is the users responsibility to ensure that backups exists. Waiting until there is a problem to decide to do a backup is not smart.  Would you wait until a fire started in your home to call the insurance company and inquire about homeowners/renters insurance????
In the event that no backup exists (stop being lazy.... keep backups of YOUR data and other important files):
If you are in the US and running iTunes 10.3 or later, it is possible to redownload music via iCloud from purchased history.
If you are not in the US or for some reason cannot run iTunes 10.3 or later, contact iTunes customer support and ask very nicely for the opportunity to redownload the content.  They are not required to provide this opportunity.
It is also possible to transfer content from an iDevice that was purchased via iTunes.  On the new computer, sign into the iTunes account, authorize the computer, connect the device then select File > Transfer Purchases.
The simplest method of all is to transfer or copy the media (and other important files) from the old computer or the backup of the old computer.  Typing "move itunes library" into the search bar here or into google will reveal step by step instructions on how to do this.

  • Can i get my app back without having to buy it again?

I bought an app then 2 days later my phone messed and I had to restore it. Can I get my app back without having to buy it again?

    For step-by-step details, see:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519
Once you get the app back, make sure you sync your iPhone to your computer so the app (and anything else you've purchased from the iTunes Store via your iPhone) get synched to your computer, then make a backup of your purchases. That way you're protected in case you ever lose anything again (which can be a problem if an app is ever removed from the iTunes Store and you don't have a backup).
    Regards.

  • I downloaded garage band on my iPad ages ago but now it just says waiting and when I click on it it just says "retry" and does nothing. I've spent literally ages making songs (I've got like 20 ). How can I get it back with all my songs still there?

Thanks for that. Much more constructive than the last comment. It's only the restriction code I can't recall, not the access passcode. So I can currently access the device, just not age restricted content. Does that's make a difference? I also wondered if anyone knew how many attempts you get to try to get it right. Now tried 21 times and so far nothing bad has happened but I am concerned I'll eventually be completely locked out of the device. That doesn't seem in the spirit of things though. Surely it's foreseeable that a child could repeatedly try to guess the code so I can't see that it would be right to lock the device down completely in that circumstance, particularly if the access code is being typed in correctly every time.
    Thanks

I accidentally deleted an app. that I paid for from Amazon in 2012. How do I get it back without having to pay for it again?

You purchased it directly from Amazon, not the App Store? It was a downloadable application, or one that came on physical install DVDs?

Hi Jen.  My daughter just compleated her nursing program and is now working as a full time nurse.  Focus and study hard and soon you will be there too.  Now to the problem at hand.  I have the same problem.  I gave up on it and satisfied myself with my iPod without the upgrade.  Reason being I've read so many posts of people having problems after the upgrade.  But I'm sure other factors are involved.  Nevertheless here is the fix most say works to solve the problem:  What ever virus protection you have installed on your computer, disable it.  Then try to install the update. After that enable the protection. I had Kaspersky, and it does it's job well. The thinking is, the virus protection is blocking the upgrade.  Hope this works.   Charlie

  • ITunes deleted my whole music library. I was not performing an upgrade at the time. They disappeared over night without me doing anything. How can i get them back without going one by one?

I woke up this morning to find my computer had restarted itself. I don't know why. Must've upgraded something. When i opened iTunes my entire library was gone. The playlists are still there, just nothing inside them. iTunes didn't upgrade over night since it still asks me to. I've tried a system restore to the day previous but it did nothing. How can i get everything back the way it was? I would really like to not have to import it all again individually.

    Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping.  Note that in iTunes 11 an "empty" library may show your past purchases with links to stream or download them.
In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!
Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library, or a backup of it, then see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.
Would you mind telling me which anti-virus package you use? It may be that it is disturbing iTunes when it tries to write out the fresh database, as it does after almost any activity with your library. I'm noticing more of this type of problem than usual and trying to see if there is any pattern. It may help to prevent a repeat of the problem if you look at the advanced options for your AV package and see if you can find a way to exclude the iTunes folder from any real-time scanning process.
