My iPhone have4 days say it need to cool down before using

A tip is avoid doing things that eat up battery power right after it has been charging. Turned my iPhone completely off and then on. The lock screen then came up with no clock and when I entered my pin, it would not bring me in, it would just go back to the same lockscreen with no time. Now says Temperature, needs to cool down

So bring it to Apple for evaluation. Can you not figure that out by yourself?

IPhone 6 shows needs to cool down

my brand new iPhone 6, out from box is faulty.
it shows it need to be cool down before use.I couldn't activate the phone.
Operating temp 55-60 F. Apple accepted return and it will replace with new one.
color gold.

My wife came in from a walk and it was -12 degrees. The phone was in an outside pocket, and was as cold as ice. she received the error message that her phone was to hot and needed to cool down. She let it warm up, and now is working fine.

I have an error message reading "Iphone needs to cool down before you can use it". ?

I can only use the phone for maybe 4 minutes before this message appears with a yellow warning triangle. (Iphone 4S)

The phone is not warm and after a couple of minutes it is useable again only to repeat the same message a few minutes later.
I've done a restore which made no difference.
Anyone have any ideas/similar problem?

my iphone 4s has been randomly stopping and saying "iphon needs to cool down before you can use it" there is no water damage cause i just got it replaced, its been happening so frequently i ended up restoring it thinking it was an app overrunning or something but its still happening.. help!!!!1

I've had that happen once or twice in the summer while using the phone in the car for both navigation and streaming music (and it was on the seat in the sun). However, if you're having it happen regularly, you should take it back to the Apple Store.

The device was dropped in water, it is damaged, take it to Apple along with cash or a credit card and get an Out of Warranty replacement.

You need to have a computer that is running iTunes in order to restore the iOS software. Read this carefully and completely. If you have never used your iPad with iTunes in the past, it becomes a little more complicated.

Why Temperature appears and ipad need to cool down after 5m of using and not even hot. The guy from the apple store where i bought my Ipad2 told me that the motherboard need to be replaced. Ca you help me and give me some idea on how much it cause of the motherboard.

What do I do when my Ipod says it need to cool down?

The ipod was dropped in some what and is completly dry noww what are some other steps?
When I plug it up it doesn't want to say connected it keeps connecting and disconnecting.
What do i need to do?

Try the usual steps: restart, reset, restore.

If those don't fix the problem or you are unable to restore the iPod, then the iPod has suffered hardware damage and you'll have to take or send the iPod to Apple and pay their out-of-warranty service charge to get a replacement.

My phone intermittently States that the temperature is too high and so needs to cool down!! Howeve, it feels cold and I am only able to shut it down to restart it. This only temporarily resolves the problem. This started when battery was replaced.

Iphone 5 is stating that the phone is too hot and needs to cool down before it can be used. However the phone actually feels cold!! I can turn the phone off and restart it which temporarily resolves the issue. this issue stated once Apple replaced my battery. Any solutions or idease??

Take it back to Apple and have them look at it.

The message disappeares after 2-3 minutes, and then again, after 5 minutes it appears.
The device in not heated, it is not warm, and I do not overload it with different activities.
What can I do?

I think you have hardware problem. Bring it to Apple for a check.
