I backed up my iphone 4 and itunes said it had backed up.
my phone froze later on and i ended up having to reset it, and i lost everything
i went to restore my phone and only the second time i restored it i got only my contancts and apps back
my videos and pictures were not restored

TS5376 was asked to update itunes and since then itunes won't open, un-installed it and followed the necessary steps then tryed to install it from scratch but still no luck. It says it has been successfully installed but no sign of it on my computer

You have no chose but to restore your phone. What do you mean "lose everything"? Is your data/iTunes content not on your computer?

Okay so about four days ago my ipad says it has apps to update but whenever i go to the update apps page it will not load and i have tried rebooting signing out but nothing will work, any suggestions?

If you are getting the blank app update screen, many, many people are having this problem over the last couple of days. It is a problem that Apple must fix now.
According to Fly150 in another discussion, this will work.
If you want to update the Apps while waiting for Apple to fix Updates:
1. Go to App Store
2. Select Purchased
3. Select All
4. Scroll down to find the Apps showing update
5. Select update on the Apps
This should update the Apps and get rid of the update count in App Store. Apple needs to fix this. It is a workaround only until then.

My iPhone 4 has disappeared and I know its batttery had died, and i probably put it down in the house, but its weird bc i should have found it by now-it's been a week. When I go to 'findmyphone' from iPad it says 'location services disabled' but I know I did not disable it bc I intentially like to have the option to locatevit since my kids are sticky fingered and snag it when I'm not looking a lot. As far as the prices, the difference is likely the laptop version is the SD version and the iPad one is available in HD. That's the only reason you'll see a price difference. It has nothing to do with the device with movies/movie rentals. Apps yes, these no.

It sounds like you are not seeing your iPhone in iTunes when you have it connected to your computer, but your phone recognizes the computer because you get the prompt to trust the computer. I recommend the steps from the article named:

How can i transfer my data (messages, notes, calendar, contacts and music) from iphone 4 to iphone 5. note that iphone 4 data has been backed up and sync to the itunes

i have just sold my old iphone 4 but before letting it go, i have backed up its data and sync it in itunes. afterwhich i have restored it to its original setting.
i have purchased an iphone 5 and i would want to transfer all the data from the old iphone 4 to the new iphone 5.

i was at my perents house this week end and thay had borowed my ipad for some thing the week befor.

The items that you can purchase from iTunes in the form of apps are for either an iOS device (iPhone, iPad, iPod) or for Mac Computers.
The chances are the app you have downloaded is either written for an iPhone or iPad (iOS device -although even then there can be differences) or for a Mac computer (even then it may be OS version specific)
In a search for "Miss Kitty Slot" in iTunes I found this
It says it is an iPhone App.

Why does my iphone say it has never been backed up

my iphone says it has never been backed up, or last back incomplete or back up failed, yet my icloud will say it has been backed up. why is this happening?

Did you ever get an answer to this? My phone started saying this over six months ago..it says it has never been backed up and icloud doesn't have enough storage. I don't even have ANY music and only about 100 pictures. I sync it to my computer all the time and when I do it says it's completely up to date.

I recently added an external hard drive and am now saving my new pictures to that hard drive. Lightroom still lives on my hard drive. I imported some pictures into LR last night and several of them have an arrow icon on them and the error message says "Metadata has been changed externally" but it hasn't. These are DNG files that have not been opened anywhere other than LR. I did synchronize the settings of these pictures, but all within LR. Please help!

Yes, this is a longstanding "feature" of Lr. You know the saying: when bugs exist long enough they become a feature.
It disappears when you uncheck the box <Automatically write changes to xmp>. You still can save to xmp when the box is unchecked but you have to do it manually (select all the images in the Grid View and press Ctrl / Cmd + S).
Another procedure that makes the message disappear (when you leave the box <Automatically write changes to xmp> checked) is to do the <Save metadata to file> (via >Metadata >Save metadata to file - Cmd / Ctrl + S) and immediately do a <Read metadata from file>. You have to do this immediatly after saving to file because the <Read metadata from file> overwrites the catalog data, so you first have to save the catalog settings to file (save metadata to file) and immediately read them back.
The message in itself is not harmful. It says that the "Metadata has been changed externally" but you have to read this "externally" as: metadata has been changed in a different instance of Lr. This seems to be strange. But sometimes Lr has no "memory" of saving the metadata to file because this step has been obliterated in the history panel (by going back to a previous step in the history) and thus this <saving metadata to file>-step is not in the catalog. In this situation Lr "concludes" that the metadata in the file must have been changed externally by a different program.
the message has driven numerous Lr users crazy. But rest assured, your images are safe and sound. And you rmetadata are saved to file.

Open Itunes App on your phone. Scroll to the bottom and select 'purchases'

Check your system preferences.
My copy of flash installed as a preferance pane.
If its there you will be able to check the current installed version and set preferences for flash and updating.
