My Iphone seems to be a brick help!!!!!!!!!
I used to unlock ipnone, But today, when I restore and upgrade it in a normal way, then I try to activate it with itune, but It said" insert and unlock and valid sim card to activate it". What can I do,I'm losing my mind!!!!!!!!
I believe he means- do a google search for ways to 'unbrick your iPhone' or something like that. If you can't seem to find the answer to a question on google, about ANYTHING, all it takes is to re-word your question or use slightly different words in what you're searching for. I'm not very computer literate and I found the answer to your original post in about 10 seconds on google.
I'm glad I don't have the same problem- just goes to show you, "Hacking" is just not a good idea. Seems funny that you are clever enough to "Hack" the phone but NOT clever enough to google up a fix for it. Maybe, once you get it fixed, you should think about trying to restore it and then be patient (like the rest of us!) for new features to be released by Apple! Try requesting a feature you want- that'd be a productive (and LEGAL) way to help improve the phone- FOR EVERYONE!

Please help ! Why can I not " move and scale my pictures as wallpaper on my iPad mini ? I can do it on my ipad and iPhone. No one seems to be able to help. I am not alone in this but nothing is being done to solve this problem. I have googled and there is a lot of discussion on this, many updates have happened , but still I am unable to do it. Very frustrating !
Do you have the parallax effect (the 3D effect) 'on' (Settings > General > Accessibillity > Reduce Motion 'off') ? If you do then you will either need to create higher resolution versions of your images, or turn that effect 'off'.

When the parallax effect is on, you may notice the following:
Wallpaper, icons, and alerts shift slightly as you move your phone.
When you set a wallpaper in Settings > Wallpapers & Brightness, the photo or image will be slightly zoomed and can't be scaled to fit the screen.
If you zoom in, you will need to rescale your wallpaper to fit to the screen. You can't rescale certain photo formats, including landscape or square images. -
my iPhone 4 won't connect to our WiFi at home, but will at other WiFi spots. However, my parent's iPhones work and connect just fine at home using WiFi. I have called and talked to several people and no one seems to be able to help me.
The two things to try first are renewing your network lease, forgetting the network and if that doesn't work to reset all networks. You might have tried one of these but I'll repeat the steps just to make sure.
Settings > Wi-Fi > tap the blue arrow to the right of your network name > Renew Lease
If that doesn't work then
Settings > Wi-Fi > tap the blue arrow to the right of your network name > Forget this Network
If that doesn't work
Settings > General > Networks > Reset All Networks > then reset your iPhone by
Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart.

When the Wifi is connected, the iphone seems to search for some site and if firewall does not allow the access to that site, it disconnects the connection to Wifi. Can anyone help on this?

I just got a new iPhone 5. The sales person helped me transfer some photos from my MacBook Pro to the iPhone. Now, I can't get iPhoto to move photos from Photostream to events. Help!
Make sure you have iPhoto's Photo Stream preferences set as follows:
What happens when you drag photos from the Photo Stream window in iPhoto onto the Events icon in the left hand pane? That should import the photos into the library.
If it doesn't thenTry the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder (Snow Leopard and Earlier).

3 - launch iPhoto, reset its various preferences and try again.

NOTE 2: In Lion and Mountain Lion the Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.

i m having issues with the phone which i made a recording but the customer care support in our place donot seem to be of much help.

its still under warrenty. please help.Take your iPhone to an Apple Store or authorized service center in the country where you purchased the iPhone and they will look at it and replace it under warranty if applicable.
If you cannot take it person contact them to determine how to send them your phone.
You can't expect them to replace your iPhone without first examining it. -
My 3G iphone seems to use slow GPRS rather than wifi, how come?
I know my wifi works fine as my pc is running of it, and my iphone was using the wifi up until a few days ago. Now my iphone seems to be using a slow GPRS connection which sometimes jumps to 3G.
It's really annoying as it's slower than wifi. It says it's connected to wifi in the settings with a full signal...but doesn't show the wifi symbol in the top left.
Please help!How do you have settings set? If you are connected to a wifi signal and do not move, your iPad should not summarily change over to 3G, unless the wifi signal is lost or very weak. It could be when you are connected via wifi, the signal is weak, thus the turnover to 3G. If I were you, I would absolutely turn off celular data when you have a strong wifi signal and I suspect your iPad is acting as it should......

My iPhone seems to be stuck in headphone mode. I already tried plugging and unplugging my headphones, but it still is stuck in headphone mode. What can I try next?
I've read other methods but they didn't work for me.
You can try cleaning the jack with a q tip, blowing into the jack and then pulling in and out the headphones (thi worked for my friend).

Ive also heard although it isn't the best, using an air compressor to clean out any gunk in the jack that can help aswell.
I'm utterly frusturated at this point. I'm just going to go to the Apple Store and see what they have to say. If of these at home remedies don't work i suggest you do to and brace yourself for repair costs.

Please help!Well, assuming all of the above, Notifications, etc., it just might be time for a visit to the Apple tore genius center for a session with the techs. See if it is a fault in the hardware or just an iOS reinstall is the answer.
One more thing you could try, backup so you have a record of content, then restore to factory conditions be an Erase All Contents and Settings. Then restore from the backup you just made. That has helped some with WiFi problems, may be it would work with your problems.
But with that behavior of another app with problems, the geniuses looks like a less stressful thing to do. -
I backed up my ipad and iphone on the same computer, will it be shown on the same folder or different? Mine is window 7, try to find the back up file follow the step that apple provided, it shown only iphone instead of ipad. Pls help.
