Error 1004, 1013, 1638, 3014, 3194: These errors may be the result of the connection to gs.apple.com being redirected or blocked. Follow these steps to resolve these errors:
Install the latest version of iTunes.
Check security software. Ensure that communication to gs.apple.com is allowed. Follow this article for assistance with security software. iTunes for Windows: Troubleshooting security software issues.
Check the hosts file. The restore will fail if there is an active entry to redirect gs.apple.com. Follow iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting to edit the hosts file or revert to a default hosts file. See section "Blocked by configuration: (Mac OS X/Windows) > Rebuild network information".
Try to restore from another known-good computer and network.
If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service.
The "device may need service" means a hardware problem. In that case make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

If the content on your iPhone cannot be read by iTunes, then you will need to follow the directions in the popup and restore your iPhone to the factory settings. You can then try and restore from a previous backup.

I bought a 4 pack of $25 Itunes gift cards and only 2 will activate. For the second two it just keeps asking for my login. No error message just keeps repeating the login. Is there any way to fix this or did I just lose $50

I've just updated OS to 10.10.1 and Finder keeps trying to open and then closes every 2 seconds with the message Finder is not Available. If Safari is opened with the window full screen it immediately closes and will only work with window smaller than maximum. Driving me mad! Any help please!!

I recently bought an iPhone 4, and it worked just fine, until I tried to sync it with iTunes. Whenever I would try to sync it, it would stall somewhere in the process, and then an error message would come up eventually. It would say something along the lines of "Process timed out, Internal Harware error" or somthing like that, there were several error messages.
So then I tried to restore the phone. I did it through iTunes, and eventually the process stalled on the "Preparing iPhone for restore" part, and then it would give me an error message (4013). My phone is stuck on the connect to itunes screen. When I do connect it to iTunes it says that the phone is in recorvery mode and that and needs to be restored. So again, I try to restore it and it gets stalled in the "Preparing iPhone for restore" part. I have also recieved the 2005 error code. I have tried to fix it by unplugging all other USB's, using a different USB port, disabling firewalls ect.. I have the newest version of iTunes, and my phone is running 7.0.3 (Can't update now that the restore is necessary, and I couldn't update anyways because the same problem I had syncing it occured when I tried to update.) I have Windows XP.Error 1 is a baseband error. If you have Warranty or AppleCare Coverage take iPhone to Apple for resolution of this problem. If no coverage then search the Web for Error 1. Users have reported some success with this Error 1.

After updating to IOS 8 have been getting an error message stating "Can not down load item, please try again later". I have chosen both options to answer (done or retry) but still get the message. I have backed my phone up on iTunes but and still getting the message.

IPhone 5 just bought ask for restoration once and again!!! Buttons do not respond either
The power button do not respond, I have to turn it on connecting the Lightning cable
The home button does not respond either, I have to use it with the remote of the EarPods and Siri, as without the Home button I can not activate the screen
It ask me for restoration once and again, but I restore it using iTunes and as restoration end it ask me for restoration again :-S

That's where I would begin, too, with
Repair Disk
Insert Installer disk and Restart, holding down the "C" key until grey Apple appears.
Go to Installer menu (Panther and earlier) or Utilities menu (Tiger) and launch Disk Utility.
Select your HDD (manufacturer ID) in the left panel.
Select First Aid in the Main panel.
(Check S.M.A.R.TStatus of HDD at the bottom of right panel, and report if it saysanything but Verified)
Click Repair Disk on the bottom right.
If DU reports disk does not need repairs quit DU and restart.
If DU reports errors Repair again and again until DU reports disk is repaired.
If DU reports errors it cannot repair you will need touse autility like TechTool Pro,Drive Geniusor DiskWarrior
First we need to determine if the issue you are experiencing with the computer is software or hardware based. Once we have gotten things sorted out there should be time enough to make you decision about keeping or returning it.

Finder keep on restarting and asking for "restore to a previous state"
After finder crash on OSX Lion, it keep on restarting and asking whether I want to restore to a previous saved state. I have try to relaunch and force quit it, but it still keep on restarting, making the OS unusable. When i swith to other user account, the finder are usable, so how can I remedy this ?
