My iphone volume button and ringer don´t work

For some reason, suddenly, my ringer doesn´t work when I get incomng calls. Also, the volume buttons don´t work. For that matter, any button on the permiter of the phone works. All other functions of the phone work well. It seems to be a software problem, rather than a hardware one. Please help! Thanks, Jorge

You can try Restoring it in iTunes but I believe you will end up needing to have it serviced.

Urgent! "ThinkVantage" button and F11 don't work after disk partition.

I just bought a ThinkPad T400 last week.
At first, I partitioned the C disk into 3 disks: C, D, E. I didn't change EISA partition.
Then I use "Rescure and Recover " to reinstall Vista and restore the system.
After it finished, I can enter Windows, but windows is not installed properly, without many funtions. And I can't install software to solve the problems because Windows Installer is no correctly installed. Furthermore, driver letters are changed, i.e., after restoring system, SW_Preload disk becomes "F:" instead of "C:" before restoring.
I then restarted the computer and want to rescure my T400 via "ThinkVantage". After pressing "ThinkVantage" button, system just asked me choose from "F1- BIOS, F11-Rescure". But when input "F11", the PC still can not enter "Rescure and Recovery" .
I searched Google about this, somebody said disk partition may lead to thinkvantage error. If it's the case, how to solve the problem?

i have the same problem. i have t400 with vista. i try to enter into the recovery but it is not going. so since it was urgent i installed xp. i havent changed the partition size. now it is not even showing the f11 option to enter the recovery. initially when i tried to enter into the recovery a blue screen used to come and the message used to display. it said a problrm was detected and to prevent damage to the computer windows is shutting down. so i called lenovo and they sent me the recovery disk. but when i run the recovery disk it shows the screen windows is loading files. then again blue screen appears with the same old message. even that recovery disk is not entering into the recovery. i dont know what to do. if anyone knows what to do please let me know. my email address is [email protected]

The sounds on the iphone4 won't play but if u have the head phones in it will work and if u goto the ringtones u can hear them but if I get a call or text message i can't hear it n it won't vibrate I need help

try removing the ultranav/mouse drivers from your unit via Device Manager.
go to http://support.lenovo.com ; download the latest ultranav/mouse drivers for your unit and install.
try again.

I have just replaced the headphone jack, volume button and mute switch ribbon in my sister's iphone

As you see I replaced the ribbon on my sister's iphone. The volume buttons and mute switch dont work while the headphone jack works perfectly. Also it cannot find any wifi networks. Anyone having the same problem? This iphone has not been restored since it was bought. Or should she update to iOS7 maybe that'll help?

Thanks but thats not gonna happen. Way too expensive, the company I bought the replacement off send me another one maybe its the ribbon. Im going to restore it first though.

To start troubleshooting this issue where you are unable to adjust the volume after receiving a call, please go ahead and first force close all of the apps currently running on the device, and then reset it by following the steps in the articles below.

Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset

Volume buttons and mute button don't function in Windows 8 64-bit

Almost funny, I also have installed Windows 8 64-bit on my ThionkPad SL500 (clean install). I have read other people complaining about "Volume buttons and mute button don't function". This is exactly the same problem I have. I have found no exact procedure about what software to install to make this work. Instead people refer to other threads that often end in some desert... So, does anyone (Lenovo?) have a clear answer on what software to install (and links to those drivers please...) :-? And, yes, I have tried installing different software packages by following threads, but nothing has worked just yet... So, clear instructions / links, please :-)

I recently found this information on the micorsoft troubleshooting website and thought of your post, not sure if you had found a solution but hopefully it is helpful.
My keyboard volume controls suddenly stopped working
If the volume controls on your keyboard stops working, check the Human Interface Device Access service on your computer to make sure it is set to Automatic.
In the Start menu, type View local services.
From the Search Results list, select View local services.
In the Services dialog box, locate Human Interface Device Access. Make sure the status is set to “Started.” If it is not started, click Start the service.
Right-click Human Interface Device Access and select Properties.
On the General tab, in the Startup type, select Automatic, and then click OK.

Voulme and ringer recently stopped working on my iPhone4...why?

Mine acts a bit different. When a call comes in it makes a little very short ring and the volume goes to zero. The button won't turn it up but I can go into settings and turn it back up. When the next call comes it does the same thing. This started last week and up til then everything worked fine.

Definitely seems to be a cross-platform bug in iTunes 10.5 concerning all NAS disks. Shared libraries on network drives worked fine under 10.4.1, but now there is just an endless loading cycle with no error message or time-out. There is a bit more about it in this thread.

How can I make unpleased remark as I am an Apple supporter, my family own 2 macbook, 3 iPhone 5S and 2 iPad. What I did asked Apple during the last online chat was why can’t I buy the iPhone 6 till now, next was, why some re-seller Apple store in Singapore can reserve the iPhone 6 and some can’t. I did this myself recently while playing around with the settings - go to System Preferences and in there somewhere will be a setting saying - " use all function keys as standard function keys" or something like that. You need to deslect or say "no" and then it will work as it used to!
