My iphone volume buttons dont work plz help
Well my iphones volume rocker button for da lowering volume does not work unless i press it really hard. Da volume button to increase it works tho. Please hellpp!!!!
Have you dropped it before?? Maybe something is loose or too tight.

I have iPhone 4S on 5.1.1 which I bought in September last year.
Yesterday when I listen to music with my iPhone I found out the the MINUS volume button dont work correctly.
It's need to push him hard to decrease the volume. however the PLUS volume button work correctly.
In addition there is no "click" sound when I press the minus volume button.
what should I do?
I live in ISRAEL and there isn't Apple Store here so the only solution for me is to contact the carrier which I bought the iPhone from them but they probably will require payment for the repair.sorry but i actually need to use the volume buttons Jujusoccer11
i've tried resetting already and restoring from back up already but still has the same problem lllaass,

I purchased a used Ipod touch 4th gen for my stepson. I was told the top button doesnt work & I was thinking that was ok so I still took it. Went to set everything up for my stepson last night & the volume buttons dont work either. Can someone please possibly help me!?!? finally i found solution ... it was finger print device and i dont know what is the relation between finger print and sound problem any way the solution is installing the latest fingerprint definition and i found sound working properly !!

If the volume buttons don't work then you can go into settings, general, scroll all the way down to accessibility, click it, turn on assistive touch, go back and a little gray square with a white circle should appear. Click that and then click devices and there should be a volume control there.

HS-1200 volume buttons dont work...
I bought HS-1200 headphones and i cant use volume buttons on right side of headset. I installed and uninstalled drivers few times, downloading drivers from creative.com site and it still dont work. I even try dont to install anything but it wasnt help. Im fed up with this problem... Buttons for turning on headset and for starting/ending call work with and without drivers. I dont know where is the problem. I try to install drivers for my sound card (realtek) and it wasnt help too. When im looking in Creative console it seems like the program use my headphones like speakers. I dont have headphones options i saw in FAQ. Hmm... I luckly solved this problem. My headset after about 2 months broke down. It won't play or record anything. It charged for ages and never finish. I send it on guaranty back and get new one. Before i had Win XP and buttons won't work. Before i get new headset i update to Win 7. After pluging them in and install CD all works properly. Maybe they are not compatible with XP... >.<

Yesterday I installed Mountain lion. Now the volume buttons don´t work. When I press them the volume don´t change. I tried to change in the system settings, but all selections there can be made.
By menu bar you mean the sound at the top of the screen?

As per description - the phone works but the volume buttons do not show the sliding scale of volume and if you try and play music or watch a film etc you cant get sound. If you plug headphones in it works as normal.

This is a software issue affecting a small portion of 4s users, and to date no fix. My phone is always clean, it's always updated, and whatever other simple fix you can think of, I've done, still volume issues. A dirty port wouldn't cause the volume slider to disappear. If somone comes up with something that is actually a fix, and not old school Nintendo "blow in it" type advice, I would love to hear it.

IPhone 4 buttons not working. HELP!
I live in Spain and I've had an iPhone 4 for a little over 2 years. All of the buttons on my phone no longer work except the home button. How can I get this fixed? Is this something that Apple will fix if I don't have Apple Care? How much would it cost to fix if I took it to the Apple store.
I ask because a friend of mine got a brand new phone when his home button was broken and it was outside of the guarantee.Out of warranty replacement is the Euro equivalent of $149

Well have you tried connected to iTunes?? If that doesn't work call your local Apple Store and make an appointment at The Genius bar and they can either fix it or replace it but it will cost you money.

Have you done a restore of the phone to see if that fixed the problem with the speaker? If that doesnt help then you probably damaged something inside the phone when you dropped it.
If you're annoyed by the problem, you can always get a replacement phone

</html>If the reset doesn't work, you have to force iPad into Recovery Mode
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY.
3. Repeat the process if necessary. -

Problems in trying to print address book as list
