My iphone will not display the scrubber bar, shuffle or repeat icons.
Since the latest upgrade to 6.1.3, my iphone 4 will not play songs unless in shuffle mode. I get no scrubber bar, repeat, or shuffle buttons on the album header. I cannot get the shuffle feature to turn off. Anyone have an idea how to correct this? Playing all music in shuffle is very frustrating.
You can use the genius, it is almost the same.

I used to have a droid and loved the calendar on the main screen that used to show me the next few appointments coming up - so far I have only figured out how to put in to show for next day or 2 days or etc....
is there any way to show tomorrow and next few days in notification, or is there a good app out there that will greet me. dont have 4s to ask just a 4
i used google calendar and they all show up in calendar but REALLY need the functionality to see what is coming up, kind of like what you see in outlook or any other email program.

I have a second generation iPhone with the newest iPhone software. At work we use Microsoft Outlook for emails and my IT friend had previously set up my iPhone to send and receive Outlook emails. I could also access and read/forward/delete old emails that I save in various folders for reference. When Exchange became available he set up my iPhone to use Outlook using Exchange and deleted my old Outlook email account. Now I can see all the folders that have saved emails in them on my desktop computer, but the iPhone will not display any of these old saved emails prior to when he switched me over to Exchange. Is there anything I can do to get these emails back so I can refer to them on my iPhone?
Allan, thanks for that reply. I should have mentioned that I tried to reset that feature under SETTINGS, in which I tried the 1 month and even the NO LIMIT option, but I still can't get the old emailed in those saved items folders to display.

Communicator 9300i will not display the Blackberry...
I have Communication 9300i which I have installed the Blackberry Connect software on to but it does not display the Blackberry serivce in the messaging section.
I have unistalled the software a couple of times and reinstalled it, but to no avail.
Any advice please.I figured out that the score editor is very unstable. When I open the score editor, and it shows the notes for the region I clicked on, I now know to be sure to only click on the white, lit area of the stave to increase the view to either multiples of the same region, or the full score. If I click on the gray area, then the whole thing goes black and "create a MIDI region" appears, and the score editor will no longer come back. Also, do not ever click on a region when the score editor is open, or the whole thing goes black again.
The score editor is very unstable, and must be opened and closed with care. Once the "create a MIDI region" prompt comes up, it is impossible to get the score editor to open again, unless you open the specific score editor window, but that will not display the full score. -

My iphone will not save the photos I have taken with the phone. I have now been working in Italy for 3 months. Shortly after I got here my camera stopped working and this was my only camera! I use AT&T and my phone is not hacked. I have no idea how to contact help from mac. My father in the states has tryed many times to talk with apple but nothing good has come. Please, can someone help!!!!!!
Exactly one week after I posted notes on my "fix" (see above: I reset the phone and erased all my data), the problem has recurred. The camera pretends to take the picture, but nothing is saved in the camera roll but a blank white square. When I touch the square (where the photo should be) the application crashes and I'm returned to the home screen. In the meantime I have not synced any pictures from my iPhoto library, so I'm sure it's not a corrupt photo from my Mac that is causing the problem.
This is upsetting, because I lost some great snapshots before I could get them synchronised off the phone.
This also happened to my wife's phone. She took her's in to the Apple Store, and they helpfully reset her phone, erased all her data, and sent her on her way with a "fixed" phone. I'm going to have to go in and try to convince them that this doesn't actually fix anything. -

My iPhone will not use the 3G network. I have to turn it off in the settings. Then my phone will connect to the E network. This is the only way I can make calls. Does anyone know why?
I am in Utah and with AT&T. I was able use 3G for about 6 months and then it just stopped. I took it to the apple store and they said it was an AT&T issue. I went to AT&T and they said it was an Apple issue. I had the SIM card replaced ands that still didn't work. It wasn't until I turn off the 3G that I was able to make calls again. Now I'm just on the E permanently.

What are the exact specifications of the wireless network you've created? (If you're not sure, open Airport Utility on your computer and check the Radio Mode in the Wireless tab). Bear in mind:
- iPhones earlier than the iPhone 4 cannot connect to an "n-only" network - they need b/g compatibility.
- No iPhone can connect to a 5GHz network (Compatibility mode will also fix this).

There is a badge with the number 1 on my "App Store" icon, but when I go to see what needs to be updated, the App Store does not display the app that has an update nor does it say that there are no updates available. Basically the place that tells me these things, is completely blank. I have the word "Updates" at the top of the screen and I can see an icon on the bottom right corner area that has the cirlce with a down arrow and the word "Updates" with a badge with the number 1 in it.
The iPad 2 has 6.1.2 for the iOS. I have already closed the app out completely by closing the app in the multitasking section and then restarting it. This does not correct the issue. I have also restarted the iPad 2, however this did not correct the issue either.
If anyone has seen this and knows it is a glitch in the software, and that Apple is aware of it, please let me know. If anyone knows how to correct this, please let me know. Thanks.The update server is down; try this temporary workaround

When I drag and drop a website icon from the Forefox address bar to the desk top, the short cut is created but the icon that appears is the firefox Icon. I want to disply the icon from the website that the short cut refers to. I have checked all I can think of in my computer to no avail.
You have to assign the favicon yourself to the desktop shortcut (right-click the shortcut: Properties) after you have dragged the link to the desktop.
You can usually find the favicon in Tools >Page Info > Media and save the icon there.
Otherwise use the main domain of the website and add favicon.ico (e.g. mozilla.com/favicon.ico ) to display the favicon in a tab and save that image to a folder. -
Only email lists showing, but will not display the message.
My email (gmail) will only show the list of messages. When you click on it and select a message it does not bring up the usual message screen. It stays blank and tells me no message selected, but I do have one selected. The mail list will slide to the left like its bringing the message up, but does not. Help.
Quit the mail app completely. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Launch mail again
Or ....Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
