My iPhone will not download apps, or connect to iTunes store

Every time I try to download an app in my iPhone 4s I get a message that says cannot connect to iTunes store.
My software is up to date.
I've tried to reset and turn off device.
And I've manually joined my wifi network.
Still no change. What can I do?

I'm having the same problems. Can't even find out if Apple is working on it. Tried to downgrade but is not supported by apple so error 3194 comes up which is verifying with the apple web site. Which then stops everything. I understand you can modify the "hosts" file to by pass the issue, but hate doing that as it gets involved. May try it if I can't get any satisfaction from apple.

Apps previously purchased will continue to operate wherever you are. However; you'll not be able to update them other than by using the original purchase details. What this means is that you can only 'purchase' from a country's store if you have a valid credit card and residence of and in that country.

Thursday night I went to go download iOS 8.0.2 and it said I needed to connect to iTunes. After over a day, and many different attempts, it finally downloaded all the way through and then said it was processing the item. After this, there was a said error and I had to restart the update. I haven't been able to use my phone at all and it will not let me get past the connect to iTunes page. Please help.

I was able to restore my phone!!!
I called Apple and they said there was nothing more I could do. I called my carrier Verizon and was able to get my computer to recognize my device after trying this-
Solution:
After trying EVERYTHING this is the ONLY thing that worked-
I took the USB connector cable out of the USB port it was in, and tried another one on the otherside of my laptop and iTunes was able to discover my phone in recovery mode. My phone was reset and everything is fine ( thank gosh for backup copies!)

TS3297 iPhone will not download apps

When I tap on the install icon it prompts me for my password then starts to install and then it just stops. When I tap on the install icon again it prompts me for my password again but still does the same thing. Tried it on different wi-fi's and on the phone carrier with the same result.

What is the message you see?..Have you been able to download app's before? When did the issue start? What app are you trying to download? Is this a new device? From your iPhone, go into store then make sure App'a and Data are selected.

Try logging out of your account on the iPad by tapping on your Apple ID in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if it works.
If that doesn't solve the problem, go to Settings > General > Date & Time and change the date to a few months in the future and then re-try.

Both my iPad and iPhone will not update apps

Both my iPad and iPhone are neither updating installed apps not installing new apps via WiFi (or 3G) but can be synced via my Mac when the new apps/updates are downloaded on the computer. This appears to be a recent problem (past few days): all I get is "waiting" for every app/update needed to be installed. I have tried a number of hardware solutions (restarting, logging out of my iTunes account) to no avail. There does not appear to be any download in my iTunes account that seems to be "hung up". My hypothesis is that it may be an authorization probalem and I can't help but think that it maybe related to last week's corrupt binaries problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes we are connected. I even tried by connecting to the computer thru iTunes. It is not working for either of us. Just says unable to download at this time. I was able to connect and restore my apps from my old iPhone buy it won't let me add new ones for do update on the old apps.

My ipad will not download apps, it shows it is downloading, but when
I click on the icon there isn't anything there.

That seems really odd. Try rebooting the iPad and see if the apps will launch correctly.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

I had ipad2 almost for eight months and recenytly had problem with appstore but now it is working like before. I exactly did these things:
Remove those recent app that couldn't insall completely (check your itune and remove your old updates list) and
go to setting store and sign out of apple ID and sign in again plus turn off all of the automatic updating
check your available storage (anyway I'm sure you did)
I also remove all of the app that i heard they have problem somehow like google and angry bird...
