My iphone won't allow me to download new apps

I have never had this issue before. It tells me I can retry. I am downloading apps directly on my phone. I was able to last night.
It is not saying I need to reconnect to the internet but I am wondering if this is because of a bad internet connection or what?
I updated my phone last night but was still able to download apps.
And I have shut the phone on and back off so I am hoping someone can help.

I am also having a problem similar to this. I can download apps from my computer and put the on my iphone 4 however when I try to download with the app store on my iphone it tells me that I need to use another method of payment and I am sure the informaiton entered is the same as on my computer. Can someone help?

I am a librarian at a 1:1 iPad school and we are having this problem with all ~3000 student iPads as well at ~300 teacher iPads. This is extremely frustrating. I have tried suggested fixes found on other discussion boards but none have worked.

Make sure your CC has funds on it and its up to date on your itunes store account.

They will have to be answered the first time when purchasing from a new computer or device.

If you're already running iOS 5.1.1 that is the most current version. As such, no issue exists.

I click in the purchase icon, the blue circle comes up like its loading but then a minute later a msg pops up saying "unable to purchase, (app I'm trying to download) could not be purchased at this time. Please try again later".
But every time I try to download any type of app it comes up with the same message.
I've tried logging out and back in, restarting my phone. I'm update with all updates. I don't know what else to do.

3 days ago my iPhone 6 (iOS 8.0.2) stopped updating apps and allowing me to download new apps. I rebooted the device and attempted several times to stop the updating but it appears they just keep spooling with no success. I logged of and logged back in the App Store. Suggestions?

OK, a couple of things:
1. You do have the iCloud icon in your settings on your iPad, right?
2. You do have Photo Stream turned on on your iPad in the iCloud setting, right?
3. You do have an iPhone that has an iCloud icon in your settings that has Photo Stream turned on, right?
So, the only place left that you would see an iCloud icon would be on your Mac in the System Preferences, and you would want to have Photo Stream turned on there as well.
Can you let me know if any of the statements I have listed above are not true, or you do not have? Seems like you may have been given some misinformation about iCloud, Photo Stream, and how to set it all up.....
As far as other pictures go (those not in the photo stream - which is a temporary holding place that shares the photos among all your devices without having to do a sync), if you have pictures that you have uploaded to your computer from your iPhone or camera, etc. they are housed in iPhoto (if you are on a Mac). In order to get these pictures to display on your iPad, you need to sync your iPad to that Mac via iTunes.
Is any of this making any sense?

I really appreciate any help and advice I can get.
First my iphone won't allow me to drag music over to it. I'm old school and I like to drag specific tracks over to my iphone. iTunes won't let me do that. I have tried creating a new playlist and syncing again but still I can't do that. Any help or ideas?
Also, I keep getting the message that "x number of items could not be synced. See iTunes for more information". What does this mean???? I read some where that clearing the photo cache can help. One problem, I CAN'T FIND THIS PHOTO CACHE!!!!! Where is this thing. I read that you need to click "go" on the iTunes menu. My menu doesn't say go. What's going on? How to i find the iphone photo cache and get rid of that annoying message?!?
Also, before I get to any of the stages above, sometimes during syncing on iTunes with my iPhone 4S, it keeps getting stuck at "waiting for changes to be applied". Once again, anyone have ideas about how I can overcome this?

I have had a similar problem recently and followed advice here. Specifically, I used the brute force approach. As suggested by this site, I strongly urge you to backup your mailbox before trying this fix - just to be on the safe side.

You should be able to re download the book on your iPad.
Try here > Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
On your iPad tap Settings > iTunes & App Store
Swipe down and make sure Books is switched ON.
Purchased books should appear when tapping the iBooks icon now.
