Hi,
I would do a restore. If you have a backup, you can restore it from the backup via iTunes or iCloud.
See Backing up, updating and restoring iOS software. Also, How to restore from a backup.

Settings > iTunes & App Store > Apple ID: > View Apple ID > sign in and check your credit credentials here

Just updated to the latest version of itunes and now my iphone won't sync with my email or calender because the apple mobile device is not started. Anyone know any way roudn this - Apple wish to charge me to fix this. not impressed

It is working now. I no longer get the message about the item not being available in the US and I can access the store.

Try these steps listed below.
1. Run “c:\WINDOWS\system32\devmgmt.msc” (i.e. *Device Manager*), and leave it open for now for later use
2. Start up iTunes
3. Next, connect your iPod.
4. Go to your iPod Settings and select the “Enable disk use” option from under theSummary tab.
5. A dialog box will pop up reminding you that you’ll need to manually eject. Go ahead and hit OK
6. Hit Apply to save changes to the iPod
7. Quickly switch to the Device Manager window and right-click on any item within the window and select “Scan for hardware changes”
8. Finally, switch back to iTunes, and try re-syncing your iPod to see if it helped.

I upgraded to latest version of mountain lion yesterday, this morning my power Mac was running extremely slowly (while typing, had to wait a second or two for words to appear), I shut down to see if problem would clear up. When starting up, screen went black with programming jargon, something about debugging with the word panic in parentheses. Screen then goes back to gray, says Mac encountered a problem and has to restart once I push a key. Apple logo comes on gray screen, icon keeps circling and nothing happens. This has happened three times in a row after shutting down and trying to restart. Any thoughts?

When verifying disk, said could not repair disk, back up as many files as possible then re format disk. Computer now doing Internet recovery. Should I. Do the following in this order
1 restore from back up on time machine
2 re install osx

Ok, my Firewire card is in the mail and on it's way.. but for right now, I'm confused. I've been checking to see if my computer recognizes that my IPOD is hooked up, and it says something about updating the driver, well I try, and it can't seem to find the software for the IPOD even if the CD is in the CD drive. Whem I first installed the CD it made me click the " continue without IPOD plugged in " the software didn't recognize that the IPOD was plugged in... when I get my firewire card I was thinking about deleteing everything and reinstalling everything and see if that fixes anything. Or is there software for a driver that I need to download? Well anyways I hope someone can help.

I just got my ipod nano a couple of days ago and after loading the itunes and then plugging in the ipod i unplugged it when it said do not disconnect without thinking. Now when i plug in my nano it keeps saying do not disconnect and although the ipod symbol appears on the itunes, no instructions have popped up to explain how the music transfers even though it says it in the booklet and when i click file the update ipod button isn't clickable. I'm just wondering if there's anything i could do

Thank you very much, i read the link on the manual and my preference was set to manually manage songs and after reading it i was able to put a couple of songs on to the ipod which is a lot better than where i was about an hour ago lol

If i have stuff on my phone and i connect to itunes and hit set up as new iphone instead of restoring from backup, will i lose everything i have on my phone

i need to know what i should hit on itunes for my phone, it says set up as new phone or restore with backup, i dont want to lose what i have on my phone right now, i just want to put the music i have on itunes on my phone.... what should i do?!?!

OK, we don't have the whole story, but it is likely that you previously synced the phone to a different computer. The iPhone can only be synced to one computer at a time; if you change computers the contents of the new computer will replace the contents of the old computer.
If you restore with backup (assuming the computer you are using has a current backup) you will not lose any app content. If you restore as new you can then add music and apps, but you will lose everything else in your backup.

IPhone won't sync Navigon - says there is no room, but there is plenty

I have been having this issue with my wife's 8gb iPhone. With each Navigon update, you have to install a new 1.2ish gig application. To do this, it requires that we delete the app from her phone to open the room to re-install it. However, even with it deleted from her phone and having over 2gigs of open space, it still says that there is not enough room to install it.
I have fixed this issue before by wiping her iPhone before - but surely this shouldn't be the solution to fix this.
Also possibly related, sometimes her iPhone when connected is not recognized, until she opens iTunes manually.

Navigon requires close to 3gb of free space in install, minimum. It most likely won't install properly without 3.5 ~ 4.0gb free.
Once installed, the space used to install is freed up & only the app size is needed.

Iphone won't sync ringtone-says not authorized-please help???

I purchased a few ringtones. Three synced fine. My favorite choice did not. When finished syncing a pop-up said that it couldn't sync the song because I wasn't authorized to listen to it on this computer. HOWEVER, the song itself is downloaded, I can't listen to it on my computer and on my iphone, it just doesn't show up in the ringtones with the others where I really want it to be! Any ideas??? Thought that would work, but didn't. Again, the computer does play the song, does allow the iphone to play the song BUT NOT as a ringtone. That's where the problem is. I did go in and try to authorize the computer, but as suspected, it came back saying it was already authorized. Since, it has done this with yet another song when trying to create ringtone. I don't like being charged an extra fee for the ringtone and then not being able to sync it as such. If I buy it directly from the iphone, there is no problem, but going back in to create a ringtone from a purchased song is where the problem is but only for some ringtones, not all. UGH!

When I tried to do the update it caused an error. So I had to uninstall itunes and now it won't let me reinstall it. Keeps saying something about I do not have the authority to do it.

I got this update message when I opened my itunes. So I said yes and let it update. But then I got this error message and now I can't get it to reinstall. I am the owner of this pc and have been working with Itunes forever. But it keeps telling me that I do not have the right authority to install itunes. This really stinks since all my music for my i-pod is on Itunes. Is there anyone out there who can help me with this?

Me too, kept saying a certain file was missing. Don't understand why a file would be missing, all I did was unintall itunes so I could reinstall it. Makes no sense to me.

Considering that the "Most recent updates" link on the Leapfrog Connect homepage is dated November 2009, I wouldn't hold out too much hope that your software is compatible with Lion, released in July 2011.
