My iPhone won't work in the Spanish Apple store, but my iPad does.  Same Apple ID

I currently live in Spain.  I've lived here for a year and I just started having trouble with the App Store.  My iPhone 5 gives a message "Account not in this store, your account is not valid for use in the Spanish store. You must switch to the US store before purchasing". All I'm trying to do is update my apps.  Using the same Apple ID on my iPad I can update the apps.  I've tried changing my address info to my US address and I get the same message.

Hi, I have three accounts and usually get the same message.
In my case, it is because I have apps downloaded from the three different accounts. When it tries to update, it will check first from which AppStore it was downloaded and try to connect. So, if you have two Apps that need updating and one was downloaded from the US and the other from Spain, then you'll get the message.
What I did was delete all the Apps and then download them again from the Spanish AppStore. Most are still recognised as purchased.
