so i bought an iphone in Usa and i moved to Mexico, so i had to take it to a store so it would have service now it doesn't connect to the internet and i can not get away from the router when i connect to wifi

You purchased a new iPhone in the U.S. from an Apple retail store as carrier unlocked?
This is a problem with wi-fi only or with your carrier's cellular network? Any problem connecting to the internet with your carrier's cellular network you need to take up with your carrier.
Any problem connecting to any other wi-fi network besides your own?

Settings
General
Reset
Reset Network Settings
then try reconnecting
OR try this -----
Clicking forget this network on the top of the Wi-Fi (click the button where it leads to more info on the Wi-Fi)
then turn off the Wi-Fi and put it back on then it should come back up and try reconnecting

When you're in Arch, use output redirection

The new network config in rc.conf is not that complicated (wired anyway; never used wireless). OTOH I've had issues on two machines where I have to restart the network daemon (rc.d restart network) or rerun netcfg (netcfg eth0) after boot to get connectivity. If your phone is offline, the ONLY way to find it is to look for it the old fashioned way. Your phone CANNOT be located electronically if it's offline.

Yeah, they took down the post cause im not supposed to talk about it apparently. That was my brothers. His is working fine, he can go online, and do things, but for some reason i cant go on youtube, or safari, and cant connect to my main connection.

What was the app you are referring to? I'm not aware of anything on the app store that is designed to do that, unless you're talking about an app that was causing a problem...

My Ipod touch 5th generation wont connect to the internet. Personal hotspot shares your cellular connection with other devices via cable, bluetooth or WiFi. If you turn on the hotspot, the phone will be disconnected from the WiFi network you are on and share access to the cellular connection. That's what it's for. It's using your data plan if that's what you're trying to do.

- Change the name of your device
The new operating system seems to have an issue with apostrophes. At least when it comes to wi-fi.
Check out your device name. If it is called something like “Claire’s iPhone” it could be the apostrophe that is causing the problem.
To change your device name go to Settings > General > About > Name. Tap on the name to edit it and remove the apostrophe. Save the change. Switch off your phone and then switch it back on again.
Your wi-fi should be working.

Iphone 5 wont connect to the internet even with full 3G signal

Basically I bought a brand new iphone 5 and I'm already having problems with it. I have transferred my old number over from my old sim card as I used to be on 02 and have transfered to T- Mobile so I gave them my PAC code and it's all in process and they said it would be done but the 1st October which is fine but in the mean time i still want to use my phone and all the benefits that come with it but i at the moment I cant even connect to the internet. I have full signal so full 3g everywhere I go but I still can't connect to the internet. I have already rung up T-mobile and got them to sort it out for me and they patched me through to Apple who said they could sort it out for me by turning my phone off and on again but still I had no internet. Even now, the next day it still isn't working so I really don't know what to do. Has anyone got any suggestion on this? Do you think it's the phone company or could it be the phone?

Have EXACTLY the same issue thePOPEofDOPE420, tried the setting> general> reset> reset network setting suggestion - but this does nothing. Still the issue persists.
WiFi - internet works great. As soon as it's off, status bars showing a full signal, 3G but the web page/Facebook app/App Store just hangs and won't load.
Not sure who to contact - T-Mobile or Apple?

My ipad suddenly wouldn't connect to the internet so I turned it off and on, checked the settings, there wasn't anything wrong and I could connect to my wifi from my phone in the same location. So I pressed reset and delete all data and settings. Now it wont reset and a message comes up that says "your ipad could not be activated because the activation server cannot be reached:. Try connecting your ipad to itunes to activate it or try again in a couple of minutes." I cant connect to itunes because I cant get past this page in the reconfiguring process. Trying again and again will not work. Can anyone help?

By reseting and deleting all data and settings, you wiped your iPad clean of anything that was "yours". Put your iPad into recovery mode and restore from iTunes. Hopefully you have a backup there to recover all your data.
