My iphone wont let me sync apps from my itunes

i had a iphone 3g and had loads of apps on it
i brought a 3gs recently and had it unlocked by vodafone to o2 unlock code came through and off i went
well i then wanted to sync some of my old apps to my new iphone
i selected 1 or 2 of the ones i wanted and selected where i wanted them on the screen
pressed sync and the itunes went through its process but when it finished i checked the iphone and nothing was on there
all the boxed that need to be ticked are ticked and i spoke to apple help n they said re install itunes which im doing now but i dont know if its going to work
any help????????

If you have Restrictions enabled on the iPhone at Settings > General > Restrictions, do you have Installing Apps turned on as a Restriction?

The box asks me to choose to "transfer", or "don't transfer", these apps. If I choose "don't transfer", I am warned that I will lose those apps. I have tried both methods "don't transfer" and "transfer" -- in both cases my new apps from my itunes account on my computer do not sync. In both cases my husband's apps on the iphone remain.
My itunes account on my computer indicates that I have successfully purchased and downloaded the apps.
I believe this problem is caused because an iphone can only sync apps from one itunes account. If true, than I need to know how to unconnect my iphone from my husband's itunes account.
I would appreciate any help.

You can create a new Apple ID without using a credit card for download free apps by following this guide: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2534. Follow it exactly as writtien. Note that you have to download and try to install a free app and then create the ID.

my iphone 4 isnt letting me download apps from app store, it goes onto the homepage and says 'waiting' then 2 minutes later it disapears!!!!

Are you trying to do it on your computer or your phone? Has it worked on this computer or phone before? If so, when did this start? Does it happen every time you try to download something now? Are you able to connect to the internet using other applications? Are you running any security software? What version of iPhone and software are you using? Have you tried connecting to Wifi instead of 3G or vice versa? Do you get any specific error messages?
More info would be good.

Unable to sync Apps from PC itunes to 4S

Facing it from the time of iOS 6. Whenever i try to sync downloaded apps from System iTunes to my 4S it had shown "unable to determine apps". I was happy at updating os to iOS 7 and thought certainly it shud sync, since it is new OS to mobile. But even now when i am trying to sync, this os7 is unable to do it and showing even more newly "Authorize this computer". I had authorized several times but in vain. pls help

rest music and videos I can sync but when I am trying to sync app it is showing "Iphone could not be sync beacuse is not authorised" but I have already authorised and sync everything except apps. Even I can access the itune store.

What do i do when my app store on my iphone wont let me get apps

the other day one of my apps on my iphone 3gs was running slow so i deleted it and was just gunna redownload it. but now my app store wont let me get any apps even free ones. when i hit the button that says free it moves and all i can see is the fr in free then it moves again when its suppost to say install. how can i fix it so i can download apps?

My ipod touch 4g wont let me sync apps.

I want to sync apps to my ipod but it won't let me!!
I have successfully synced apps before but just recently, i thought something was wrong because the app store dissappeared from my ipod home pages and it wouldn't let me delete apps (by holding on them and waiting for them to start shaking and by pressing the 'X' delete button).
So after this i went on the web and found out i could do it on itunes by going to my ipod and pressing the apps tab along the top. I did this and deleted the apps I didn't want.
I went to then put on some different apps and it wouldn't let me. I tried dragging the apps into the ipod as usuall but it wouldn't work. it would have what i was dragging but whenever i hovered it over my ipod it would come up with a little red stop sign on top of the app. I then went to the apps page on my ipod and it didn't look right.
As you can see it is all opaque. I didin't think it was meant to be like this. As you can see, i have .71 GB free which is usually more than enough for a couple of apps but for the problem. I dont know what to do. Please Help.

Hey guys, first forum post so go easy on me pls
The other day I decided to download some apps from my mums itunes account since I didnt have any money to pay for them myself. When it came to syncing/copying the apps from her account, it decided to delete most, if not all the apps from my own account.
I had a read around and have "authorised" both my laptop and her macbook, and the iphone registers this. However, I tried to copy some apps from my account this morning and it seems it wouldnt have been possible without deleting the ones I had copied from her account.
Is there any easy way around this syncing problem? Or will I just have to keep buying things from my own itunes accout?

Not trying to doubt you or anything but you probably did something else with the iPod such as use 2 accounts simultaneously in which case you would have to log out and in each time you needed to update

Hey so i have a version of a mac i think it is kinda old, it is the all white one i got it like 4 years ago maybe. I got a new ipod recently and i cannot downloade any music onto it. this is because i tried to download the new itunes which it said i needed and now when i try to install it. It says i need a new software so i try to download that and is says i need the mac app or something. but it says i need the new software to get that. so i went onto itunes and clicked the apple and pressed new software and it goes onto this little thing that says my internet is alright but my server has not been connecting. My computer is connected to my school and they updated the server thing and now it wont connect, so i can't win. how do i fix this and download everything i neew?

First things first: Pull down the Apple Menu and select "about this Mac" and tell us what version of OS X is currently on your computer.

I had to get a new computer and when I plug in my iPhones it does not have all the apps I bought. I get the error: are you sure you want to sync apps? All existing apps and their data on the iPhone will be replaced with apps from this iTunes library.

How do I get an old library onto a new computer. When I plug in phone all my apps do not show up.

You need to copy the iTunes liubrary from your Old computer, or its Backup, to your New computer...

Syncing apps from separate iTunes account.

I have an iPhone 3, iPod Nano, iPod classic & iPod touch. I just recently got an iPad from work. The iPad was given to me for business purposes, however I was told that I may use it for fun/personal reasons as much as I'd like.
My issue, is that my boss would like to keep the iPad connected to his iTunes accounts, for security/business purposes, and I was wondering if there is a way to sync my apps that I have downloaded on my iTunes (and other devices) to the iPad, without making it not connected to the company's iTunes anymore.
There are currently no apps, music, videos, photos etc. synced to the iPad at all.

I was able to sync my husband's iPad with my account so we could share apps. The only issue we run into is when updates come for the apps I have to synch his iPad to get the updates whereas I can get them directly on my iPad. Haven't figured a way for him to get them directly. You should have no issues.

How do you sync apps from another itunes without erasing all your apps

Ok so here is my situation, my usb is down so I am downloaded an application on another computer and uploaded it to Itunes. Now I got it loaded up and trying to sync it to my ipod but it wants to erase all my other apps and just put the one on. So how do I get just the one app on without erasing it, would appreciate the help, thanks in advance!

I'm guessing you mean your wifi is down. Otherwise, I'd say just download it from the appstore on the touch.
Also, if you log into your account on itunes and download an app, couldn't you log into your App Store account on the Touch and download it that way?
