Seems like ios6 isn't any good for any of their devices. I have an iPhone 4 and recently updated to ios6 and have had all the wifi problems and apps getting hung up on load screens. Restore is your best bet and downgrade if you can back to ios 5.1. If restore doesn't help with a fresh install of ios6 then call every Apple support number you can find and be heard like the 1,000s of other people like us with ios6 problems demanding support. There doesn't seem to be any quick fixes for ios6 other than an update from Apple.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

My iPad and iPhone wont connect to my iTunes Library.

My iPad Air and iPhone 5s wont connect to my iTunes Library on my Macbook Pro.
Both will see the library and try to connect but as it reaches 1/4 of the way it stops.
If I turn off my iTunes Match on both devices, the full library loads on the iPhone only. I can go into the library and it will play. Does iTunes Match have to be turned off?
On the iPad, it shows the that shared library is connected to but it wont allow me to move off that screen. It freezes. I push the home button and it closes. I can reopen but it is no longer connected to the library. I cannot get further than this.
My Apple TV works perfectly connected to the same library.
I dont have more than 5000 songs in my library or more than 10 movies and 300 + episodes of TV series.
Any ideas to what could be causing the issue with the iPad?

Forgot to mention. Have tried obvious things like rbooting Mac and iPhone and iPad with no success

Sure thing bro, no problem. I assume your running Windows 7 or 8? So for me I had to update the iphone drivers.
First, open Control Panel, click Hardware and Sound then devices and printers look for your apple iphone under the "Unspecified Devices" tab, Right click on it, choose properties, after that you'll choose the hardware tab to the right of the box that opens. When you click on hardware, choose properties again toward the bottom. Then you'll choose settings, after that you should see the Driver tab, 2nd one. Click that and choose update driver, then browse my computer for driver software, after that you'll want to navigate to
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers and click Ok. The driver should update and all should be good after that. Matter of fact, here is the article i used. Good luck dude!!

I cannot figure out why my iphone wont show up in itunes?

I've been to the Apple support page where it walks you through the steps to uninstall and reinstall Itunes and it's components. I've done all those steps, and when I connect my iphone into my computer a window pops up that says "Auto Play" and it has different options for what I want to do with the device. All the options have something to do with pictures, so I'm guessing my computer is reading my phone as a camera maybe? Or it could be something else, I've tried to find out what it is but can't.
Has anyone had similar issues or can provide me with any suggestions or help. It would be greatly appreiciated. If not do you think this is something Apple support would be able to help with if I call them?

IPhone wont show up in iTunes

So i have brand new Windows 7 installed, also installed iTunes 9.2. I connect my iPhone to PC and it shows up in Windows. iTunes freezes for a while and then there is no iPhone. iTunes simply cant see my iPhone after unfreezing himself. Windows still can see it as camera.
What can i possibly do to fix it? My iPhone is useless.

When I plug my phone into my computer Itunes won't recognize it.

Yeah I have the same problem, tried all those Apple solutions and still won't work. I can get it to charge with some cable fiddling, but even then it is hit and miss. My 1st Gen iPod Touch is recognised and syncs fine, so I am guessing this is a hardware problem with the iPhone.
What is Apple's policy for this type of issue?
Do they replace the entire phone?
If they do, how do I ensure the phone is wiped securely?
If they don't replace the entire phone, how long will they normally take to fix it?

Hi - i've been trying to back up my iphone (4) to iTunes for an embarassingly long time, I just really have not had a chance to deal with getting help for it.
When I sync, it does not back up even though I choose the option box to do so.
With this new version of iTunes (which i LOATHE), I have checked where it says Automatically Back Up
then the options are
iCloud
This computer
I have been forced to just choose to back it up to the computer because no matter what I do, whenever I choose to back up to iCloud, the field that says "date last backed up to iCloud" never changes. Its been saying something like November 30th since ummm...November 30th l
I've tried everything I can think of & a few things that I couldnt. I'm completely out of ideas!
I know there is a way to get the phone to start a backup over wifi but I have not been able to figure that out....not sure if thats what I want, anyhow.
Could anyone help? Would greatly appreciate it. You will be rewarded with good karma!

Sometimes connecting the iPhone up via cable and letting it sync.
Then Scroll down to the options section and uncheck the Sync with Wifi Click Apply
Then re check Sync with Wifi and Apply
You may also try a manual backup by clicking the button to the right of where you selected the method of backup.
If this works try disconnecting the phone and Clicking the manual update again to see if it works
I am assuming you have icloud setup this shoul work fingers crossed
