My iphone wont turn on and when i plug it in to charge it will boot up to the apple logo than restart
hi i have an iphone 5 and when i have it unpluged it wont turn on and when it is pluged in to my mac or apple charger it just boots up to the apple logo than it turns off and restarts to the apple logo again and it just keeps doing that and ive tryed to reset it but i go and error message can someone please help
Take it to an Apple store for diagnosis and likely replacement.

its out of battery and when i plug it in to charge it will charge until it turns on, and then just stops charging?
Try a resetting of your phone just to cover that base - Hold down Home and Sleep buttons for at least 10 seconds and see if the phone powers up.
If the phone was completely dead, powering through wall socket is best approach. I've never been able to charge off of a PC if it was completely dead.
If all fails, bring the phone in for service since it is still covered by warranty. -

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

It is probably still worth while taking it to an Apple store for a possible OOW replacement and let them make the decision, as it was broken before the OP took the back off.

try and reset network settings... settings-> general-> reset-> reset network settings

More information: The iPod ran out of battery late thursday night and I plugged it in to charge. The charging symbol appeared but within 20 minutes, the ipod had gotten very hot and had gained no charge. It hasn't been dropped and it hasn't gotten wet. It's a year and a half old. As far as trying to power up your device, make sure it has a good charge and then hold the button on the top of the phone and the home button on the faceplate together until the apple appears on the screen.
