My iPhone3gs can't create an event in calendar when i use ios5

Please help me!

I had this after upgrading to ios 5. I hadn't enabled iCal on setup so changed this in settings and it then added the + sign back to calendar so I could add events.

Can I create an event in Photos

I am using the Beta Photos. Can I create new events using Photos? If not, is there an equivalent? All the events I had in IPhoto are there but I have not been able to create a new event.

The Events in the Photos sidebar are just Albums created from those events when the conversion to Photos was made. You can create new albums by selecting the photos and using the File ➙ New Album menu option:
The new album will appear just above the Flagged smart album. It can be moved into the folder titled iPhoto Events if you want or wherever else under Album you'd like to have it.

Can't create an alarm in calendar

Hi,
I can't create an alarm in Calendar.
It says,"You can’t add or change events in the Birthdays calendar."
All I want to do is create a simple alarm to remind me later today.
Is that too much to ask for?

You can set default alert for calendar
Calendar > Preferences... > Alerts > do it here
or use a Reminder

"Create Quick Event" in Calendar - specify location

I'm adding a list of events from a spreadsheet into Calendar. I can copy the spreadsheet text then paste it into "Create Quick Event" in Calendar, which does a pretty good job of guessing what I'm talking about.
The problem I have is that it seems to be impossible to get the location to be specified - meaning I'll have to go into each event and manually edit Each attempt (see below) results in the locations text being added onto the Event's title.

I don't know that it can be turned off, and I don't even use Apple's Calendar much (as a BusyCal user), but you might find it's useful if you learn to use it as intended. That box is pretty smart if you mention the date and location in the box before hitting enter.
Just type the date, time, and place in that "title" box:
"Birthday party Friday 8:00 PM at Joe's Place"
That pops up an event with a start date of the next Friday (e.g., 10/05/2012 today in the US), start time of 8:00 PM, and "Joe's Place" in the location. It strips out the date and time before creating the event title that it pops up; it leaves the location in the title, but the title comes up selected so you can edit it before confirming the event with the "Done" button.
The event is entered in the default calendar, but you can select any calendar by holding down the "+" button a second or two. There may be a way to do it with the menu or the keyboard command-n shortcut, but I haven't found it; you can select another calendar on the popup before hitting the "Done" button.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")

Can no longer edit events in Calendar on iPod 2ndG

We have a MP, MBP, iPhone 4S and iPod 2nd G and to be able to sync Calendar and other programs on iCloud we installed Lion. We used to sync the iiPod to the MP but after switching to Lion shifted it to the MBP and she can no longer edit events on Calendar. Is this a setting problem or is it an issue with the IOS 4 on the iPod? Do we have to get an iPod that will accept IOS 5?

Doing an entire report in a table is such a bad idea and really unnecessary.
Sounds like you need to update both Pages and your user tag.
Are you actually on OSX 10.6.8 and what version of Pages are you using?

Hi there,
You can create a scroll motion where the image will fade out on scrolling, you need to use the Opacity tab under Scroll Effects Panel.
If you particularly need the image to be blur out, then you need to edit that image in any image editing program and make one copy of that image as blurred, then place both images (actual and blurred) on that page and use scroll motion or fade option to replace images.

I summarize the last post: In RoboHelp 7 for Word, the problem is that when I try to create a winhelp2000 project importing from a .hlp file of origin created previuosly, the import process makes error because it want to extract images that not exist on the .hlp file of origin. We have an iPhone 5 and it also syncs to the same iMac and it does not get duplicate events.
The duplicates only show up on my iPhone 4S.
All are currently at the latest iOS.

How Can I Create an Event Link to a Page Tab?

I have a portlet in one tab that generates an event. I want to be able to send this event to the same page but to another tab where another portlet resides. Here's the code snippet that creates the link. This code is part of a custom JSP tag.

I am able to force the the second tab to be displayed if I use "Direct Access URLs". These links are in the form

But is there a way to create an event link using a specific URL?

Hi,
One workaround that i can think of is:
1. Set the <passAllUrlParams>true</passAllUrlParams> attribute in your provider.xml of the portlet on the target page/tab.(dont forget to refresh the provider)
2. If you already have the url to the tab, then you just simply construct the form in your previous portlet to post to that url with all the necessary form fields.
3. Process the request parameters and render the second portlet.

Can't create an event in iCal.

I just upgraded to 10.7.4 and noticed that my iCal isn't behaving correctly. When trying to add an event, on my MacBook Pro I get an error:
The server responded with “400” to operation CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation.
And when trying to create an event online via iCloud.com I get "server error"
The only place that I can create an event is on my iPhone 4S
Any ideas?

In SL you can select the event, go to edit > copy then click on another calendar date and do an edit >paste and click on a third calendar and paste it again if you wish.

When I'm in the month of October, I can't create any new events, and when I print the calendar, the days come out wrong starting on the 15th.

Try this: quit iCal, go to System Preferences...>Language & Text>Formats>Region: and set/reset the appropriate "Region." Then log out/in or restart.
