My iPhone3GS is stuck at the apple logo.
Months ago, my little cousin dropped my precious iPhone3GS in the toilet. I put the iPhone in rice in hopes of it still working. Once I retrieved it form the rice, the iPhone went to the Apple Logo and stayed there. I sent it in to Apple and, obviously, they weren't able to fix it because of water damage. I took matters into my own hands. I disassembled my iPhone. From there, I checked the voltage of the battery and it was at 0V. Dead. So, I bought a new battery online and it should work fine, yet it's still staying at the Apple Logo. I've tried 50% Isopropyl alcohol. I've tried reassembling the iPhone and charging it with different methods i.e AC adaptor, USB, Music Dock. No luck. I've tried getting iTunes to detect it. No lock. DFU mode? Can't even get passed the Apple Logo. Any ideas what I should do? I really don't want to have my iPhone sitting around, although that's all it's been doing for the past few months. Could it be the fuse?

Water damage is really a tough hurdle to get over if the steps you have already tried do not work.
The next step would be to tranfer your Logic Board to a working 3GS to see if it works.
If the Logic Board is good or you just want to try one more thing, try cleaning the Dock Port very well with Isopropyll Alcohol. If still problem, at most replace the Dock Port Assembly.
Throwing good money after a bad iPhone is not a good idea.

Hey Edgar, how exactly did you do the updates? Are you running iTunes 11.2.2? And you iPod 5 is still running iOS 6.1.2 as your tag shows? or are you running iOS 7.1.1? More info would be helpful. As Deggie asked, what was the error message, the more detailed the better. One more thing-- is this a Mac machine or a PC? Cheers.

i was trying to delete some songs from my ipod. so i plugged it into itunes and it froze. i help the home and menu button to reset it and now its stuck on the apple logo. i plugged it back into itunes, it updated the software i dont know if it restored the ipod. but now its stuck on the logo and it keeps going to the white screen and then back to the logo. what do i do?
Try restoring. Make sure you have a backup first.

Your last try would be a restore if you can get iTunes to recognize the phone. If not, you have probably damaged the device beyond repair. You can go to see Apple about an out of warranty replacement. The cost for the iPhone 4 is $149US, you can check for your location.

My Friend has an iPhone 3G(S) and he wanted to put music on his iPhone. So he connected it to iTunes and said that the iPhone Had an iOS update. so he did the update and after the update, it got stop on the apple logo and it got an error and the iPhone is not responding and it is stuck on the Apple Logo.
Alright Hernan there are a couple of steps you could try.
Your first step has been mentioned twice, that is a "Hard reset". This can be done by holding both the Power/Lock Button (Top left hand corner of the device) and the Home Button (Circular button in the Bottom-Middle of the device) for about 3-5 seconds until the device shuts down, then attempt to start it up again.
If this fails, you may have to take a rather drastic measure and put the device into "Forced Recovery Mode". This will erase all your data on your iPhone (So I'd hope you won't have to do this unless you backed up recently) and reset it to an empty device.
To do this, head over to this article on the Apple Support Site and follow the instructions.

It does say for unable to restore or update, but look for the section where it says "Use the following steps to place your device into recovery mode."

Hi, I'm having trouble with my Ipad 2. I was recently playing a game and my ipad just shut off on me. Then when I turned it back on it was stuck on the Apple Logo and it won't go to the home screen at all. I plugged it in my itunes but I don't know what to do from there. I left it charged hoping the apple logo would dissappear but it didn't and now for some reason the battery is always dead. I really need help. Does anybody have any suggestions? Please.
Did you try rebooting the iPad? You will need to have some battery power for this.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

Says it all in the title. My 3rd Gen is stuck on the apple logo and with no computer or iTunes how am I to fix it? I'm in some money troubles at the moment and I dont have that many resources available to fix my beloved iPod. I have tried resetting but it comes back to the logo and then it dies of battery.
