IPhone 5s is stuck in reboot mode with circle loading and won't get to home screen and be functional
My iPhone 5s is stuck in a reboot mode after screen shut off and wouldn't go on. I pushed the on/off button and white home button to reboot and the circle keeps going around but it won't stop and occasionally goes to a blue screen and then the apple comes on and it does it again with the circle showing it's rebooting.
Same too, responding for updates
had this phone for 3 days now, would just like to say that this is BULL **** APPLE

Ipod stuck in restore mode with error 1611,HELP
I have a ipod the is stuck in restore mode with an error code of 1611. I have tried everything that is posted. Any other suggestion?
Hey i HAVE/HAD the same problem but right in THIS moment i solved it! And i'm gonna tell you how:
1) You have to uninstall ALL the programs that are from Apple.
2) Go into control panel if you are on a windows and delete everything that says Author (Apple inc.)
3) Here is a list of every thing you have to Uninstall:
Apple application support
Apple mobile device support
Apple software update
Bonjour
iTunes
Quicktime player
Safari
4) After that just go to Apple.com and download the lastest version of iTunes!
5) Install it and sync your iPhone/iPod Touch out of Recovery mode.
i hope that helped you, it sure did to me. bye -

I was prompted to update my ipad from OS 7 to OS 7.2 and did so. Now my ipad is frozen with the itunes symbol in the middle of the screen and the profile of the cord with an upward arrow toward the itunes symbol. What should I do?
Do what the picture is trying to tell you to do: connect your iPhone to the computer you normally use to sync, and restore the iPhone from iTunes on that computer.

iphone is stuck in restore mode when i did a rebook. I hooked up to my macbook and ran a restore. Itunes ran through the restore and now it is still stuck in restore mode.
If it won't restore in the regular restore mode, you may want to try putting it in DFU mode if you haven't already. Instructions for this are linked below.
http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=1034
Put it in this mode, then do a restore again through your computer.
Hope this helps you out! -
I tried to upgrade to ios4 by plugging my Ipad into Itunes on my desktop. I got an error message as it was downloading. Now my Ipad won't turn on at all. All I get is a pic of the plug and an arrow pointing to the Itunes logo. I tried to reset, but nothing works. When I try to plug the Ipad into my desktop and access Itunes, my Ipad doesn't show up on the Itunes screen.
You need to restore your iPad using recovery mode and the process is covered in this article.

I just got an Iphone 5, and it requested an update. I plugged it in and connected it to my home wifi and now I can not use it at all. The only thing that shows on the screen is the itunes symbol. I tried to hold the start button and the enter button, but that does nothing. I have pictures and videos on the phone, is there any way to retrieve them?
Plug it into your computer and restore it. It is in recovery mode. Anything that was on the phone is already gone. If the pictures and videos were not backed up, then there is no way to retrieve them.

Error 6 when trying to restore. Phone is stuck in restore mode
I have an iphone in front of me which is stuck in restore mode. I plug it into iTunes, choose restore, choose a firmware (3.1.2) and begin the restore process. I get the following message:
The iPhone 'iPhone' could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (6).
If I press more info, the console appears, and the last 2 lines show the following:
Restore failed (result = 6)
iTunes[24792:207]: iTunes: Restore error 6
I'm using Mac OS X 10.6.2, iTunes 9.0.3. I've tried using a different user account - no luck. I also tried pointing gs.apple.com to 74.208.10.249 in /etc/hosts thinking maybe it was an activation problem - no luck.
Hoping someone can help - otherwise I've got a very expensive paperweight!
MattFirst delete all .ipsw files on your computer. In OSX they are located here:
~/Library/Application Support/iTunes/iPod/iphone Firmware
If you have your firewall turned on, disable it. Then see if you can force the phone into recovery mode:
Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, itunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. If you still don’t see the recovery message repeat these steps again. iTunes will give you the option to restore from a backup or set up as new.
Also, any reason why you have not updated to 10.6.2? You might try updating to 10.6.2 FIRST & also make sure itunes is up to date, version 9.0.3. -
4s stuck in recovery mode with error 29
The problems started when I changed the battery, now phone is stuck in recovery mode with an error code 29. Ive turned the firewall off and anti virus on my norton security, switched the computer on and off and tried to restore the phone about 6 times now. Has anyone any other ideas please?
That's a hardware problem, most likely cause when you broke something in the process of changing the battery.

Find a competent 3rd party repair shop or buy a new phone. Apple won't touch that one now that you've opened it. -

Help, as above, lost power part way though verifiying last update.
Now all i see is the plugin symbol with an arrow, and the itunes symbol
in the middle of a black screen.
Does anyone have any ideas? I've tried powering down, with no luck.
Help, please, or should I just box it up and send to repair center?CREEEP wrote:
