My iphone4 no longer recognises my MiCoach connect

My iphone4 no longer recognises my MiCoach connect, it says 'this accessory is not supported by iphone. i tried it on my mum's and the connect works fine. So it's a problem with my phone. Any help or advice welcome. Thanks

Hi lucifercalling,
if this happens you can try a few things:
Check if your cover/case (if you have one) is preventing the CONNECT from being plugged in fully
Check if there is dust or debris in the CONNECT or your iPhone dock
Unplug the CONNECT, close the App fully (double-tap home button, press-hold the App and then press the red circle), open the app and plug in the CONNECT - try this a few times
Uninstall and reinstall the App
Reset the iPhone - try again with the CONNECT and App
Contact adidas miCoach support
Hope this helps.

  • Desktop no longer recognises iPhone is connected.  How to restore?

Although my iPhone 5 displays in iTtunes, it no longer appears as a connected advice in my computer and in my MS Photo gallery.  As I want to download photographs, this is more than an inconvenience.
My Spacepack, in which the iPhone sits, does display.   But then, it always did.    In fact, both displayed, when connected.
Any clues on how to make the PC recognise the iPhone again?
    Thank you

    Hi Footplate,
It sounds like your iPhone is not recognized in Windows when connected to the computer through a case. It's definitely more than an inconvenience when devices don't work as expected!
For testing purposes, make sure the iPhone is connected directly to the computer, and see this article for some detailed troubleshooting tips that can help resolve this situation:

  • Why has apple failed to provide a decent service in 2012? So far this year I have had my documents deleted from ipages which cannot be replaced and apple tv2 is no longer recognising the wifi connection; adding to the on/off service provided,

Since the itunes match upgrade my appletv2 is no longer connecting to the wifi network in my home, I have tried unplugging, resetting the router, re-entering the details etc and nothing works! The unit shows the network at full strength but is not able to join it.
Has anyone got any advise on how to solve this please?
I am becoming more and more frustrated by apple and the tv over the past months as it only seems to work when it wants to and not when I want to use it. What's the point of being repeat customer and purchasing these "great" new updates to be left with product which no longer functions? I am sure that I will be the only one in the world who feels this way.

Sorry, I meant I will not be the only person in the world to feel this way!

  • Photosmart 2710 no longer recognises it's connected...

Recently upgraded from ADSL2+ to Cable Broadband (Bigpond)
My laptop now always needs to have the IP address refreshed before it will connect to the wirless network ( very tedious) but worse, the HP all in one now cannot connect at all.
An error message on the laptop suggests that this may be due to not being plugged in (it is) or having a VPN in place, which I haven't.
All that has changed is the method of internet access. Could anyone suggest how to resolve this? THANKS!

OK, let's add the printer manually:
    1. Make sure the printer is turned on and connected to your network. Verify that you can access the printer's internal web page by browsing to its IP address before continuing.
    2. Click >> Start >> Control panel >> Printers.
    3. Click the Add a printer
    4. Select Local printer
    5. Select Create a new port and select Standard TCP/IP Port and click Next button.
    6. Under Device type, select TCP/IP Device. Under Hostname or IP address, enter the printer's host name (found on the printer's network configuration report the generated above). Click Next.
If you get a message about Additional Port Information Required, then the printer was not found using the host name. You can go back and retry or using the printer's IP address instead of the host name.
    7. Select Hewlett-Packard from the list of manufacturers and select and select your printer model. Click Next.
If your printer model was not listed, then select Have Disk, browse the HP CD that came with your printer and select the first file that starts with hp and ends with inf. Click Open then OK. Select your printer model. Click Next.
    8. If you are asked, use the currently installed driver.
    9. It will ask for the Printer name -- enter a new name or use the existing one. This will be the name of the printer that you select from other applications.
    10. You may be asked to share the printer. Make a choice and click Next.
    11. The Print Test Page box appears. Go ahead and print it.
    12. Click Finish.
Say thanks by clicking "Kudos" "thumbs up" in the post that helped you.

  • 7.6 upgrade Ipod no longer recognised

I upgraded itunes to 7.6 this morning and now my Ipod is no longer recognised when I connect it. I have plugged it into another pc with an earlier version of itunes and have no problems.
Anyone else having this problem? Is there a way to fix it - without losing my library?

I have the same problem as y'all, my iTunes registers that an iPod is connected but tells me it's corrupted and won't sync. I know it ain't the iPod because I have two of them and they can't BOTH be corrupted. Also, I did restore one and it STILL didn't work. The problem is definitely 7.6. I followed the advice and uninstalled and reinstalled everything. I discovered that no, uninstalling iTunes doesn't uninstall your library (but I'd save it elsewhere, just in case.) However, uninstalling and reinstalling those files did not work to make the system recognize the iPod.
    APPLE, ARE YOU LISTENING?????

  • My device is not recognised when I connect it to my computer with a USB

My ancient 4gb ipod nano (2nd gen) is no longer recognised when I connect it to my laptop with a USB.  I have used troubleshooting from the apple support pages to no avail.
My ipod charges via USB when it's connected to my laptop but no data seems to be being transferred.
I would really appreciate any help on this matter.

    Hey there Sazzle15,
If your iPod is still not being seen by your computer when you plug it in with the USB cable, I would recommend the troublehsooting information in the following article, without knowing precisely what troubleshooting steps you had performed. Start at the "Check USB connection" section and work your way down as needed:

itunes no longer recognises my iphone 4s so unable to sync, have reinstalled itunes and all the other recommended options from apple, any ideas??

  • IPAD1 is no longer recognised by my MAc. Itunes freezes when I restart everything. My  iphone 4 works fine. How do i fix this?

My IPAD1 is no longer recognised by Itunes on my Mac deskop. I have follewed the steps recommended by Apple Support aand sometimes after shutting everything down & restarting Itunes briefly recognises my ipad before freezing. Thereafter it sometimes recognises an Ipad is connected but says it cannot identify it. THe message readds "An iPad has been detected, but it could not be identified properly. Please disconnect and reconnect the iPad, then try again."  Dsiconneceting & reconnecting achives nothing. However the Ipad does receive a charge from the Mac
This started after updating some Apps, and the next sync advised me that there had been issues syncing Apps. Then this problem started.
How an I reconnect my IPAD so Itunes recognisese it?. THere is no problem syncing my Iphone4s

    - Look at the dock connector on the iPad. Look for abnormalities like bent or corroded contacts, foreign material and cracked or broken plastic.
    - Reset the iPad. Nothing is lost
Reset iPad: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

  • External disk no longer recognised on Time Capsule

I have a 500GB Time Capsule connected to my broadband router by an ethernet cable. My Mac Pro is connected to the TC by ethernet and WiFi and I also have a MacBook which uses WiFi to connect to the TC. I have a USB hub connected to the TC with a Canon printer and Iomega external disk attached.
This all worked fine until a week ago when I updated the TC firmware from 7.4.2 to 7.5.2. I had problems with WiFi not working so went back to 7.4.2. I then updated the Airport Utility to 5.5.2 and tried the 7.5.2 firmware on the TC and now the WiFi works with no problem.
But - the external Iomega disk is no longer recognised. I cannot see it via the Airport Utility and it doesn't show up under Shared using Finder.
I have connected the disk directly to my Mac Pro and it shows up and Disk utility gives it a clean bill of health. I've tried connecting the disk directly to the TC (not going through the USB hub). Still no go.
I've tried rebooting the Mac Pro, turning off the TC - nothing seems to work.
Anyone have any thoughts on why this is not working?

I have a fix for this problem but it entails restoring version 5.5.1 of Airport Utility, then returning to the 7.4.2 version of the TC firmware.
All working now! I guess I'll stay with the old utility and firmware until Apple fixes this.

  • IPod classic (20gb) no longer recognised on laptop.

Hi. My iPod classic 20gb is no longer recognised on my laptop and consequently can't download from iTunes etc. I've tried trouble shooting tips with no joy. My origninal cable is not great but still able to charge using it most of the time. I have tried with my iPhone cable but with no response. Does the iPod classic (20gb) need a specific cable? Thanks for any help.

    Hello Wraggs,
I had the same problem with the same model iPod.  At first my laptop would not recognize the device; after a while it also stopped taking a charge at all.
First see that you're using a cable of at least 1 amp output.  (Many are only .5a.)  Even though my iPod has been repaired (see below), I still have to use the 1a to get it to charge and connect.
If that doesn't fix the connectivity problem, it's probably the same issue as mine - some of the 40-some connector pins in the iPod's port were apparently bent and not making proper contact with the charger pins.  (Lesson learned: I'm now very careful to plug it in perfectly straight.)  Had to call in the big guns for that one: I found a parts-only, identical model iPod on eBay (ensuring from the seller that the charging port actually worked), had a geek-inclined relative swap out the non-working battery and hard drive for my own, and have had no problems since.  That method is iffy and depends on you or a friend being able to mess with it, but it's a lot cheaper than buying a new iPod.
Hope either of these tips help.

  • Ipod touch generation 5. Disabled, no luck restoring and is no longer recognised.

Kids disabled it, I have tried restoring but it made me download an update first by which point it decided my Ipod was no longer recognised by my computer and still won't recognise it. I tried turning it off, then connected the usb, held down the power button for 3 seconds, then at the same time held the home button for whoever many seconds, then let go of the power button and continued holding the home button for whoever long it told me too in the info I managed to find online. Any other advice please?

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. Try a couple of times since timing is critical. The iPod will be erased.

    To restore from backup see:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
    Try another cable
    Try on another computer
If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.

  • My itunes no longer recognises my ipod nano and won't sync.  Any advice?

My ipod nano is no longer recognised by itunes and won't sync.  Itunes is on a Window 8 computer and while windows sees the device, itunes won't?  Any advice?

    Hi caro101,
Welcome to the Support Communities!  The article below will help you troubleshoot the issue you are having with your iPod nano not being recognized in iTunes.
iPod: Appears in Windows but not in iTunes
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1363?viewlocale=en_US
If you see your iPod in My Computer (Windows XP) or Computer (Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8) but not in iTunes under Devices, try these steps. Start at the top and work your way through the steps until iTunes recognizes your iPod.
If you don't see your iPod in My Computer, follow these steps.
This document is for Windows users and most older iPod models. See the following articles if you have this issue on:
    A Mac
An iOS device (iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch)
An iPod nano (5th or 6th generation) (and you see an alert message in iTunes when you connect the device)
    Cheers,
