My iphone4 not working

Hi there
today i just received my iphone4 , i bought it from UK .. but i am now in kuwait .. and i can not use it
when i insert the Micro SIM i get the screen which asking to connect the iphone to itunes and once i connect it to itunes i get a message >> meaning that my Micro SIM is not working ..
i tried the Micro SIM on NOKIA mobile it's working fine
pleeeeeeeeeeeease help me

Restore iPhone with iTunes on computer. See if better. If not, and there is Warranty or AppleCare make Genius reservation and take to Apple. If no coverage, Apple does not fix this, they offer replacent iPhone 4 exactly like yours for $149.

No, it isn't normal. Here are the standard troubleshooting steps in order.
Restart your phone: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until a red slider appears, and then drag the slider. Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset your phone: Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

IPHONE4 not working when placed on FLAT surface (i.e. Table)

Anyone experiencing Touchscreen not functioning when IPHONE4 is placed on flat surface such as table?
Is it normal or my phone is faulty?
Also bottom corner (about 5mm) become insensitive after applying Privacy Touchscreen. Anyone has this problem as well?

no to both. However, I was previously using the non apple charger to charge my ipod nano (2nd gen). It still charges the iphone fine - but i'm not sure behaving in this. Could thAt be the charger or the iPhone?
It could be both. If a 3rd party product does not include the "made for iPhone" certification on the packaging and product documentation, you are taking a chance. The "made for iPhone" certification is for a reason and means something. It doesn't matter if used with a 2nd generation iPod Nano and it worked with the iPhone. The 2G iPad Nano is not an iPhone and the charger does not include the "made for iPhone" certification.
As for the Zagg, I know Apple wouldnt provide this or refund for it. Just wondering whether Zagg would replace one if it was included with a faulty iPhone back to Apple?

Yes there genuine apple earphones I have now blown down jack slot and silly enough I turned my phone off and now it's back on earphones working properly now feeling a wee but silly as such a simple thing got them working.

I have an Macbook with OS 10.6.8 using Itunes 10.4.1 to sync my Iphone4. The itunes just do not sync my contacts ... No error messages .... nothing ... just do not work ... Does anybody have a clue what is going on ? tks

I upgraded my i phone 4 to ios 7 and drom then vibration is not working....!!!
I dont know how could apple lag this feature in a iphone4 ios7
I find my iphone really annoying without the vibration feature

I guess I will wrap this up. I have abandoned iPhoto and viewing my Photo Streams using it and moved to Adobe products (Bridge + PS). So that's that.

The mic on my iPhone4 has just quit also. Similar symptoms to yours in that people I'm talking to hear only static or my voice very faintly. The voice/memo recorder also only really records static.
It happened suddenly and seemed to get better after a day or two but then went completely after another day.
I'm returning it to Vodafone New Zealand shortly but will have to wait 5-10 days for a replacement. There are NO Apple accredited means to speed this procedure up in NZ.
We don't even have a single physical Apple Store where you could walk in and talk to a Genius.

Try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose data by resetting, but it can cure some glitches after installing new software or apps.
