My Iphone4 sends reply to my email before I finish it?

Did any one has this problem? When I type the reply to my email, it sometimes sends the reply even before I press send.

Try leaving your Project and go to the Project Library View. Select your project in the Project Library. You can then right-click/Duplicate Project or FILE/Duplicate Project.

Iphone 4 sends email before I finish typing. I am not accidentally hitting Send.

I'm not sure what you are asking here. Can you describe your problem in a little more detail?

  • My phone is suddenly sending emails before I finish writing them.

I'll be typing away and suddenly the email will send itself, even though my thumb is nowhere near the send button.  It doesn't happen all the time, but when it does, it happens continuously.  Rebooting doesn't always help, although I can go several days without it happening.  Has anyone else experienced this?  What can be done to stop it?  I'm sure it's related to the ios 7.

I have exactly the same problem, i can send/receive fine and can view my emails, expect once i've read them on my pc using outlook and then go on my iphone it deletes the ones that outlook has downloaded...any1 know how to fix this??
yeah, use IMAP instead of POP3. you have your outlook set to remove the messages from the server after you check them. when you later try to look at the emails on the iphone they will no longer be there because your outlook removed them from the server.

  • Unable to reply or forward emails - sometimes??

I’m having issues problem solving an email error on some of our 3G iPhones. We have 7 iphones within the business, and only 2 are having the issue.
The impacted phones sometimes will not send reply or forward emails. The problem is very random. We can create new emails and send with no problem, forward works most of the time and the reply seldom works. There’s no one constant within any on the circumstances we can find. What is weird is all phones have the same POP settings, all are updated with the latest 3.0.1 update (had problem before update as well), but only 2 phones are having the issue.
The error message that appears is: Cannot Send Mail. The server rejected one of the recipient’s addresses. The message has been placed in your Outbox.
I’ve tried turning the wireless networks on/off, running updates, change outgoing ports and rebooting. Anyone out there have any ideas?

    Hey barak666,
Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
    Thanks for the post.
We are investigating this issue and we will need to gather logs from the BlackBerry Z10.  Please contact your network service provider and ask to be transferred to BlackBerry so we can review these logs.
    I appreciate your patience.
    Thanks.

  • When I reply to an email it changes the 'sender'

When I REPLY to an email, my reply is being sent from my default sender address instead of the account the message is being sent to.
I have several email address which I use daily and this has never happened until the last week. I have checked all my identity settings and they each correctly detail the individual emails.
I am able to change the sending address before hitting send but this is besides the point. I have spent a week sending from the wrong email address before I realised the problem was occurring.
This is an urgent problem for me as I have different businesses run on the same Thunderbird account.
    Thank you.

It's likely that the message isn't really sent twice, but appears in your Sent folder twice because you have instructed Thunderbird to place a copy in your Sent folder and the same setting also exist in the configuration of your email provider, e.g Hotmail, Outlook, etc.
In Thunderbird check Tools > Account Settings > Copies & Folders > Place a copy in:
It's likely that setting is turned on. You can try switching it off and then send a test message to yourself and see if it shows up in the sent folder anyway, if so it's because your email provider is keeping copies of your sent messages for you.
It's up to you which setting you want to keep turned on, the one in Thunderbird or the one for your email provider.

  • Cannot send/reply email on Mac and iPhone

SOMETIMES I cannot send or reply emails on my Mac, not all the time though. Went to Apple Store where a Genius helped me reset my mail app but turning it off and back on again, it worked there and then but when I got home, I'm still getting the below same message when I try to send or reply sometimes:
"Connections to the server "p08-smtp.mail.me.com" on the default ports times out.
Select a different outgoing mail server from the list below or click Try Layer to leave the message in your Outbox until if can be sent."
This happens on my iPhone as well. Sometimes when I reply to someone's email it'd just sit in the Outbox for more then a day despite numerous attempts to resend. In the end I could only delete it from Outbox and send a new one again. I tried to find answers online without luck, can someone please help?
Note that if I send/reply on iCloud website, everything works perfectly!
    Many thanks!

Problem with replies in Maverick's mail.  Originating emails send fine.  When replying to an email (various addresses) the reply is hung up and can not be sent.  Option becomes put in draft, delete, etc.  Any suggestions would be helpful.  Mid 2013 iMac.

I don't know how rare this is.  I went a week or so without a problem, and now it's starting to recur.  Also, in some instances, an email will look unsent (remain in the outbox on the Treo), but it has been sent, and recipients are replying while I'm trying to figure out what is going on.  Further, it will send the same email over and over during this madness.
This is a show stopper.  If there isn't a software fix soon, I may chuck this phone in the garbage.
Post relates to: Treo 800w (Sprint)
UPDATE:  The problem comes and goes.  The next day, no changes to the treo, everything workeds.  Now i'm suspecting the sprint server, and how it/the phone responds from failing to send while roaming.  I've since turned off roaming, and haven't had a problem for several days.

  • I have changed the email signature on my iPhone, when composing a new email the signature is there, however when I am replying to an email it is not, how can I make sure that the signature is at the end of every email I send?

Yes I know what you mean about it cluttering the thread and for personal emails it is better without the signature. However this relates to sending business emails from an iPhone so I need the signature present on every email.
I can't find anything in Settings so I was hoping someone may have some knowledge/information/experience regarding this problem.

  • My Iphone 4  will not let me send an email or reply to an email.  The message states it has put it in my outbox  and it is rejected by the server because it does not allow relaying???   I can't seem to find an answer to fix this.  Any help?

Your email provider has blocked the standard mail port 25 for sending emails and is requiring a different port. This is to avoid mail relays that use mail clients to send spam. You need to find the port that is used by your provider for sending outgoing mail. Then change the settings in your email account on your phone to match the port. You will also have to provide some security credentials for the account.
You can also try deleting the email account from your iphone, and the adding the email account back as this will many times set the correct port for sending emails.
You could also do a Google search on the the settings for your device with your email provider. That will provide you with the proper settings.

  • Cannot PREVIEW my eMail before sending; nor can I use BOLD, ITALIC etc.

In the past 3 days: Cannot PREVIEW my eMail before sending; nor can I use BOLD, ITALIC etc.
I can add this: and I think you see the smiley-- but I cannot use the "B" bold button to make a selection of text bold; nor any other features for emphasis-- and cannot even get the Preview window to open.
Is this a technical problem or me?
    Thanks,

  • Sending Failure. I can't send, reply or forward an email with attachment or picture.

I have a Galaxy S5. When I try to send, forward or reply to an email with an attachment or picture it gets stuck in my outbox with a final message on my notification page of "sending failure".  I can receive any email with pics or attachments. I have removed and re added my email accounts as well as cleared the cache without any luck.  Any suggestions?
    Thanks in advance!

Try doing this, uninstall your email app then power down & remove battery and SIM card. Next re-power phone and do a regular reset of the phone (not a restart)  with SIM installed. This will be listed under settings, backup and restore then tap Reset settings. now reinstall email app and setup your account. This in a normal working phone will clear most email problems along with correct account settings.

  • I updated Firefox and now, when I select File, Send Link, a dialog box pops up asking me to establish a new account before I can send the link via email.

I updated Firefox and now, when I select File, Send Link, a dialog box pops up asking me to establish a new account before I can send the link via email. I use Outlook, so how do I avoid setting up some new account and yet am able to send the link via Outlook?
I have a feeling it may have something to do with HotMail.com.

My Error: I found out that it was Mozilla Thunderbird that was causing the problem. I uninstalled it and the problem went away.

  • When I reply to an email, instead of sending it to the recipient, it sends it back to me. I've checked the sent mail folder and the reply is not there either.

When I reply to an email, instead of sending it to the recipient, it sends it back to me. I've checked the sent mail folder and the reply is not there either. Replying used to work fine, but all of my replies are sent to my inbox, instead of going to the recipient. I've made sure that the recipient's email address is in the send to box.

    Cause of the issue
Gmail webmail accounts do not have separate sent items and inbox folders. The Gmail account web page contains a Sent Mail link on the left side, but this is not a separate folder from the inbox. Gmail webmail messages are grouped into conversations, resulting in all sent messages and replies from others appearing as a single email message entry in the inbox. This allows for easy reading and viewing on the Gmail web page, but, when integrated with the BlackBerry Internet Service account, results in copies of sent email messages arriving on the BlackBerry smartphone as new email messages.
    Resolution
To prevent sent messages from returning to the BlackBerry smartphone each time, create a filter in the BlackBerry Internet Service account to block the sending of those messages to the BlackBerry smartphone.
To create a filter, perform the following:
Log in to the BlackBerry Internet Service account. For instructions on how to log in to the BlackBerry Internet Service account, see KB03781.
Click the Filters icon next to the integrated Gmail account.
Click Add a Filter to create a new filter.
Configure the filter so that email messages are not sent to the BlackBerry smartphone if the email message originates from the Gmail webmail account integration:
Type a name for the filter into the Filter Name field. For example, My sent Gmail email messages.
Set the Apply filter when field to "FROM" field.
Type the Gmail webmail address into the Contains field. For example, <user name>@gmail.com>.
Select the radio button beside Do not forward messages to device.
    Click Add Filter.
Note: After creating this filter, email messages will not be received on the BlackBerry smartphone if sent from the Gmail webmail account.
