Im using iphone4 with ios 4.3.5 and i was taking some pictures and i found out they are not saved in Photos. I switched off phone and turned on back, and phone was in RECOVERY MODE. Any reasonable question why this is happening

In the end it is "just" a computer and crashes happen even with iOS.
To be on the safe side you can try to delete the ipsw firmware file on the computer, to make iTunes download a new one the next time you restore your firmware. -

I was loading the latest software update to "fix bugs and security issues" and my phone went into "recovery mode". I've never seen this before. I plugged it into iTunes as shown on the screen of my phone and it says "Iphone in recovery mode detected" and suggested resetting the phone to factory settings. I don't want to lose all my data so is there another way to fix it? All help will be appreciated!
Sorry, whatever data you had on your phone has been wipe off already, since your phone is in recovery mode.
You will need to restore your phone. Then if you have a backup, you can choose that backup to restore from, if you have no backup, your only option is to sync contents from iTunes. -
yesterday i tried updating to Ios 8. i new there were going to be some problems but i decided to do it. i started the update and less than a half hour into it my phone completely crashed.it went into recovery mode so i connected it to iTunes. i hit restore and update . it gave me and estimated time that kept going up. finally when it got to 800 hours it stopped and said an error occurred. i tried it again and the same error occurred. i am very disappointed in this because i greatly need my phone for school and other important things. i wasn't gonna wait that time anyway. i would like to know if there is anyway i don't have to update, get out of this screen without waiting forever, speed up the time, or get my computer to not crash when it gets to so many hours. (i have windows) plz help me out asap!!!
I have experienced a similar error with the iPhone 4S. The new version of iTunes will not let me restore the phone, it must be updated and nothing appears to be happening. Suffice it to say I am not amused. Apple needs to work this out - I had trouble updating to 8.0.2 as well.

I tried to update my ipod 4G but after finishing download it went to recovery mode and when I connect it to itunes it it doesn't restore my ipod and show that error: software update server could not contracted. so I tried to get away the recovery mode but none of the ways work I try recboot and tinyumbrella and dfu mode but they didnt work.

How to enter iPhone DFU mode
Connect the iPhone to your computer and launch iTunes
Turn the iPhone off (hold down the power button at the top of the iPhone)
Hold down the sleep/power button and home button together for exactly 10 seconds, then release the power button
Continue to hold down the Home button until a message appears in iTunes telling you an iPhone in recover mode has been detected
When you are in DFU mode your iPhone screen will be completely black
Even though the screen is black, that doesn’t mean the device can’t be interfaced with either iTunes or a custom firmware client (for jailbreaking, etc).
Remember that if you see the restore logo, iTunes logo, or any message on the iPhone screen, you are not in DFU mode but standard Recovery Mode. Again, DFU mode is signified by having a completely black screen on the device. If anything else is the case, repeat the steps above until you enter into DFU mode successfully.
Exit DFU mode on iPhone
The simplest way to exit out of DFU mode is to hold down the Home and sleep/power buttons on the iPhone while connected to iTunes. Then just hit the power button as and this should reboot the device as usual.
And if you’re curious, yes this works all the same on an iPod touch. -
Can't install apps on iPod touch I had before it went to recovery mode
I have had an iPod touch 2g for about two years now, when I got it I could download any free app, like netflix facebook etc, suddendly it went into recovery mode and now I can't install any of those apps because the ios is too old, what now?
Your only way is if you have the version that was compatible on your computer such as in the recycle bin/trash or in a computer file backup. In that case delete the current version that is in your iTunes App library and replace it with the older version. Then sync.

device. The device should turn on. Note: If you see the battery charge warning,
let the device charge for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has some
charge, and then start with step 2 again.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen.
When this screen appears you can release the Home button:

Apple doesn't need your new iPhone purchase. There are millions of people that have properly working older iPhones that voluntarily upgrade.
Your device crashed, and it could have been caused by any number of root causes, many of them not controlled by Apple. Third party app, interruption of internet connection, interruption of power, etc.

i have tried using all sorts of programs like redsn0w and tinyumbrella to try and kick it out of recovery mode. I tried uppdating my ipad then it went into recovery mode. I thought "oh no problem, my phone has done this before". So, I hooked it up to iTunes and started to restore/update it, but when the update began, it said it would take 24 hours to download. Already abnormal. Then, the number kept rising higher and higher until it got to 300 HOURS. Then, once it reaches a certain 300, it says "connection failed. please check to see that you have a working connection or try again later" or something like that. So, my iPad is now stuck in recovery mode and I can't exactly talk to people now. What do I do?
