I have an AT&T contracted iphone 5. Cannot send mms to anyone but other iPhone users. If you search the Internet, you'll see that the problem is everywhere...both the carriers and Apple are actling like the problem belongs to the other, or feigning any knowledge (which is kind of funny since the no MMS thing was in an ios6 beta that was released awhile ago, so I KNOW apple knows about it). No, I'm not running a beta (obviously, I just got my iphone 5). Awesome. Have a great camera on this thing, but cannot send OR receive MMS from anyone other than other iphone users. Gotta love it.

My iphone4 will not switch on when not connected to the computer. If i connect it to the computer it switches on to recovery mode and itunes recognises it and tells me to restore it. When i then try to restore it it keeps giving me error 1611. When i connect it to the wall charger it switches on but gives the itunes sign. This really ***** now i dont know what to do. Is there still hope for my phone? Please help

Apple, as I said, does not repair your iPhone. All hardware service issues are handled by replacing the unit. So they can't handle the home-button issue without also addressing the issue of the cracked screen, for which they'll almost certainly charge you. But you can make an appointment at an Apple Store or call Apple tech support and plead your case.

There is a hardware problem. Whether it's worth it to you to have no working phone for 2 months until you can update vs paying for replacement/repair now is a question only you can answer.

If none of the tricks like reboot (hold both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears) do not help, take the iPhone back to an Apple store genius bar and have them test the WiFi module. You can also connect via USB to a computer running iTunes and update that way.

Hold down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears, ignore the red slider and let go of the buttons.

My iPhone4 will not connect via bluetooth to any normal mobile phone. Normal mobiles will pick up the iPhone, but the iPhone cannot find them. I have tried different brands, but no connection. I have followed all instructions on paring etc but no joy. I have not tried another iPhone. Seems as if the iPhone will not talk to ordinary phones.
iPhone Bluetooth does not include all the data exchange protocols; it's limited to things like headsets.

IPhone4s will not play music - continuously shuffles
My iPhone4 will not play any music. When I select a song, it goes to the screen for the song to play and it immediately goes straight back to the list of songs. If I hit shuffle, it just continously shuffles, shuffles, shuffles, then goes back to the list of songs. I have cut the phone on and off numerous times and it still continues to do this. I have tried tapping the album art and that doesn't work. I have turned off shuffle and that doesn't work. I do not have shake to shuffle selected in my settings. Help!

In my experience, the songs that are skipping may not have transferred over to your iPhone correctly. I would advise you to uncheck the "Sync Music" checkbox in iTunes, and apply the changes (so there is ultimately no music syncing to your iPhone).
Once you have done that, recheck the "Sync Music" checkbox, and apply the changes once more. This will instruct iTunes to completely remove all music from your iPhone, and then copy the files once more. If you have a large amount of music, this initial sync may take a while.

iTunes will not open on my Windows 7 computer. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it, but it still won't open. Check your settings. The iPads have a small switch on the right edge. It can be used as a rotation lock to keep the screen from automatically reorienting itself as you move around, but you need to have the tablet’s settings configured properly. That same switch, right above the volume buttons, can also be set to function instead as a mute button to silence certain types of audio.
If the switch is set to work as a mute button, you can change its purpose to “screen-rotation lock” by tapping the Settings icon on the home screen. On the Settings screen, tap General on the left side, and on the right side of the screen flick down to “Use Side Switch to.” Tap to select Lock Rotation or Mute to set the button’s function. Even if you set the side switch for your preferred use, you can still mute the Mini or lock the screen. Just double-click the Home button, and when the panel of apps appears along the bottom edge of the screen, flick the row from left to right with your finger. Tap the icon on the far left side of the row to either lock the iPad’s screen or mute the iPad’s alerts, notifications and sound effects. Music, podcasts and video are not muted unless you turn the volume all the way down.

A reset may help. Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off buttons for approximately 10-15 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons.

While syncing my phone, it get stuck at step 3 while connecting to the iTunes store. Trouble-shooting states that I do have an internet connection but not a secure connection to the iTunes store.
Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
