My iPhone4 with iOS7 suddenly gone dead. Doesn't turn on no matter what is done. I tried connecting to iTunes and try to sync but the De4vices tab remains grayed.
My iPhone4 with iOS7 was working fine. Suddenly and spontaneously it had gone dead.Neithr was it ever dropped down nor any fluid spilled. It doesn't turn on no matter what is done. I tried syncing with iTunes but the Devices tab in the iTunes remains grayed. It means it doesn't recognise. What shall I do?
No, No, it was not a question of drained battery. I charged iphone overnight and it was charged to 100%. Hardly 2-3% would have got spent before it had gone dead.Gving benefit of doubt of drained battery, I indeed allowed it by connecting to USB for nearly 10 mts before I pressed the on button. But it was of no avail.
I searched for suggestions and followed the tip given in the forum. I kept both the home button and the wake up/sleep button pressed for 20 sec. The apple icon appeared and booted. Thanks.

1) Is it a video clip? Something you recognize? To be clear, it's displaying at a point in your exported movie but doesn't appear at all in the sequence?
2) What are your sequence settings? Right-click your sequence and choose "Item Properties" to verify. -

Why is iTunes for Windows 8 (8.1) taking so long to boot up, not recognizing an apple device and freezing after a proper uninstall and reinstall?
Hmm....I just had another thought. All the machines are running Win7 SP1, BUT the 2 that can sync with MSE installed are 32bit versions, however the one that can't is 64bit. Not sure if that makes any difference though. All are clean installs with Win7SP1 media, not SP1 installed later.

So this has happened to me before. The solution: buy a different charger. When I did that it started charging. And I was able to use it for a couple of days. Then I let it die one night because I was too lazy to get up and charge it. In the morning I got my Ipod and started charging it with my brand new charger. The screen stayed black and the battery didnt show up on the screen. I have already gone on apple before and tried all of the solutions. After all this is the second time I've had these problems. I've restarted it and nothing happens. I pugged the USB cable into the mac to let it charge like it said on the article from apple and still nothing has hapened! Its been charging like that for two days! I dont know what to do! I cant keep buying new chargers! HELP PLEASE!!!Another problem: when I could still use my Ipod the camera wouldnt work! I dont know why!

Hard drive crashed and had to replace drive and logic board on my MacBook pro. After Install tried to sync with my iPhone and a dialog box pops up stating "this iPhone synced with another iTunes library, erase and sync?". I checked the manually manage music and videos box because I don't want all my wife's pics and music on my iPhone. How do I Sync without erasing what I have on my iPhone???

Why not simply make a playlist with the songs you want on the iPhone?

Frequently, I open Itunes only to find it non-responsive once it loads. I usually have to shut down my PC and restart. Is there an easier solution?

Unfortunately, iOS 7 is too hard to push for the iPhone 4 and therefore has a lot of effects turned off to try to get it to run as smoothly as possible.
However, it becomes better and better with each update coming but it's hard to do anything about the hardware on an already released phones.
If you still have trouble or think they are too hard. My tip is, if so, to restore your iPhone 4 and make a clean setup with no iCloud backup. But all your photos in a photostream so you can access it later. -
After about five years of reliable use, my ipod Classic has suddenly gone dead. Charging seems to have no effect - no sign of life. Is there any way of rebooting it?

If you try the above and all else fails, leave the iPod unplugged for a few days. This should drain the battery. Once that's done, plug the iPod into power and wait (for up to thirty minutes) for the screen to turn on and charging to begin. -

Connect in recovery mode and restore, you'll get the option to reset the passcode during this process:
iOS: Unable to update or restore and iPhone and iPod touch: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen
If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present. Refer to Updating and restoring iPhone, iPad and iPod touch software. -

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
Could also be not enough free space for the iPad to operate efficiently. With iOS 7 it is recommended that you have 15-20% of the storage space on the device free. For a 16 GB device that is 2.4-3.2 GB free. For a 32 GB device that is 4.8-6.4 GB free. For a 64 GB device that is 9.6-12.8 GB free.
If neither of these suggestions helps, Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support. -
My iPhone 3gs is not working properly and hasn't been since about September of last year. When switched on (Quite often it won't even turn on) it says 'Update Completed' as though it has just been updated. On the next screen it says to 'Connect to iTunes'. It doesn't, however, connect to iTunes and just resets itself over and over until power is gone. Occasionally after switching on and off a few times it functions normally for a few hours and some times even a couple of days but eventually always turns itself off and goes back to the 'Update Completed' screen. Does anyone know what might be causing this and/or a way of fixing it?
