My iphone4s is "frozen". Can't shut off; screen shows huge text size. How do I get it to work?

I can't remember what I had done when this problem happened early this morning. But it is stuck on the login screen; however the text is huge and I can't even move to the correct numbers to log in. When I press the power off button, nothing happens.

Yikes! Let's make sure to get your phone back to size and working, Ruffian1950. It sounds like you have Zoom enabled (with a double-tap of three fingers your screen can zoom in or out). To turn Zoom off after you double-tap again, go to Settings>General>Accessibility>Zoom. With your screen too large, you won't see the Slide to Turn Off at the top trying the power button. To restart your phone while zoomed in, try pressing and holding the power and home key at the same time for about 20 seconds.

When organizing my bookmark folders I accidentally dragged one off screen and it disappeared. How do I get it back?

I was moving folders around and one got dragged off screen. I let go of the mouse and it disappeared. I tried to undo the move but the option was not available. When I go to save a bookmark, the option for the folder is still there, but in the bookmarks section the folder is nowhere to be found.

What was the icon for?
A program or a folder?
For programs look in the Application's folder and simply drag it to the bar and it will make a new "alias" or a short cut to the program in the Applications folder.
The same thing can be done with folders, but it has to be near the Trash can, so be very careful.
That bar at the bottom is called a "Dock" and it just holds things you use most often.

How can I shut off all of the pop-up windows for all the Firefox and Thunderbird updates?
Apparently now Mozilla creates new versions of their browser and email apps every two weeks instead of just creating updates... I'm tired of all of the pop-up requests for these constant installation requests and all the problems that the new version installations create... I just want to use the software and be left alone.
I can't find a way to make Firefox and Thunderbird stop with the pop-up requests for new installations... is there a way to do this or has Mozilla just got it rigged so one can't just use the software without re-installing a new version every two weeks and running in to new plugin issues and missing features every time?

Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.

you can disabel it from being activated form the lock screen and within apps. got to Settings> Control Center to find those controls. There is no way to disable Control Center from the activation while on the home screen

You're saying this is happening on a Mac?? Find My iPhone is a feature of iOS devices, not Macs. If you are trying to change the iCloud ID on an iOS device, you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted. If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. OKay, here is the deal. You cannot change the location of encrypted files nor can you share them with other machines. There is no file server for iTunes so even if you export the movie index from iTunes to an external volume, each time you reboot your computer itunes has to reindex the external drive every time you want to access the files. The second you run your mobile computer without the external drive or try to access the HD movies from another device or another user on the same network, the indexing gets out of synch. The entire process is self defeating regardless. The HD movies are encapsulized by apple to stream to your devices via iCloud and NOT via Cloud. Only your TV can play 1080p. That single file you download from iTunes has mutiple versions of the same video in the capsul, one version for each type of apple device. There are no 1080p apple devices except for the Apple TV. When you buy a movie you are buying a license and not the movie. It's going to get worse with all the new copywrite laws. Already you cant share any apple devices with other itunes accounts. Your airport express just stopped streaming music to all users on the local home sharing Cloud. Only the one user for each device and soon only airplay speakers connected directly to the device. No more passthru via your TV and no more file sharing with other accounts on the same wi-fi. All the ISPs are doing the same thing. And soon everybody will be buying their phones and TV's and iPads from the cabble guy.
Apple has done a poor job of educating the consumer as to the difference between the Cloud and iCloud. They are not the same at all.

YOu can only do that if you had find my iphone setup and activated prior to having your phone stolen.
Then you log into icloud.com to remote wipe, but your phone has to be connect to wifi or cellular data to do that.

Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with your iPhone 5s. I would be concerned too if my iPhone was unexpectedly powering off. I found an article with steps you can take when you encounter an issue like this. I recommend following the steps below:
Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.

Does anyone know how I can shut off the yellow text box that pops up when I stop the curser on a hyperlink?
I rarely use it and it's just too annoying to me.

I was referring to showing *the full URL of a link* in a tooltip when you hover over the link. Is that enabled by default in Safari 3? My impression is that is not. (It was enabled by default in a previous version of Safari, which annoyed many people and caused quite the uproar here. )
As mentioned above and in my edit, showing URLs in tooltips can be enabled/disabled. Showing title text in tooltips doesn't seem to be something you can disable, or at least not as easily.
You can check whether URL tooltips are turned on for Safari by checking its .plist file for the lines:
<key>WebKitShowsURLsInToolTips</key>
<string>N</string>
Where N=0 means URL tooltips are turned off, and N=1 means they're turned on.
