My iphone4s Wi-Fi is grayed out, what happened?

The iPhone Wi-Fi chip is no longer functioning. Settings App > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. See if fixed. If not, Restore iPhone with iTunes on your computer. See if fixed. If not, and if there is Warranty or AppleCare make Genius reservation or set up service and take or send iPhone to Apple for resolution.

Twitter and iCloud grayed out; what happened?

All I know is durring setup I said yes to using iCloud but no to syncing my iPad to it because it wouldn't for some reason now it won't let me see the iClud or Twitter portion of Settings.
Also (not as important) is there a way to turn wifi syncing off? I'm pretty much already by my laptop if I need to sync my iPad so it seems rather useless to me...

I just reset all settings in (settings<general<reset<"reset all settings") and set up as new device thru icloud and all is well...it doesnt delete your apps or info or anything

"create signature" in Preview is grayed out. what should i do?

I was able to use Previw to create signatures from camera on my Macbook Air, but all of a sudden, that function is grayed out.
Can anybody tell me what to do?

Some other process may be using the camera. Reboot and try again.

Timed Out - What happened???

I've been trying to upload my QT.mov files to a server, but when I do after about a minute I get a message (sometimes) "Connection to server has timed out - network problems" or it just stops uploading and 'hangs up' and I have to restart the computer. That minute or so does upload on the web server. Does anybody know what the problem might be? Thanks

Weirdness on bootup. How can i find out what happened?

I reboot my G5 at the end of everyday when i leave the office and when i come in the morning, i login and get to work. So, i rebooted this past Friday like i always do, but this morning when i came in, the G5 was off. I figured there must have been a power outtage over the weekend, so i powered up and logged in and the OS tells me the date is Dec 31 1901, 7:30pm. All my files are there, nothing seems damaged.
So i reboot the computer again, and now the clock is correct. But now Spotlight is re-indexing my drives. What would cause this kind of weirdness? The console log shows the reboot on Friday that I did, but then the next entry is another reboot but the date is Dec 31, 1901. what the heck?

It sounds like your PRAM battery is failing. It powers the memory that keeps certain information, like the date, and certain things like the internal clock running when the AC fails. You can see it if you open your Mac. There could have been a power outage over the weekend that finally did it in.

I'm using a CSV Importer in Service Manager Console to import Windows.Computer class data.
The XML "format" file passes muster.
Yet none of my CSV records succeed in being loaded due to this error:
Error: Could not import the row on line ... of CSV file D:\Peter\CMDB II\Exported MPs\TestMPs\SUS_WindowsComputer.csv. Object creation failed with the following error:
--> Exception of type 'Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.CSVImport.CSVInstanceException' was thrown.
Though, like the Microsoft Joke about the Lost Airplane punchline, "...The answer ... was 100 percent correct but absolutely useless...."
Where/ how can I find the cause of this error in the CSV Importer's exception?

to paraphrase another bad joke: "Yo Dawg, i herd you liek exceptions, so i put exceptions in your exception so you can debug while you debug".
the
system.exception.innerexception property is a way to wrap one exception in another exception and throw it again. This is probably the property you want to look for in the details portion of the exception window. this will likely tell you what the root
problem is.

On PC, it overwrites, just like a Lightroom update always does. I just did it, so I'm sure.
It leaves the old folder in Program Files, but it's empty.
