I can't text a contact but can voice phone them. I don't have the problem with any other contact and the contact is not blocked. I have an iphone5.0 OS 8.1.3. I have just purchased a 2006 Volvo with Bluetooth. I have paired my phone with the car to make phone calls. I don't have a way to play my iTunes music through the cars audio system. Is there a special auxiliary adapter that I need to buy?

I use to drive costumers cars, I don't have any devices to pair to my Iphone5.. but today I drive a car and my Iphone ask me if I want to pair the phone to the car, and I chose "Cancel" ..

every time I want to play a song the phone acts like if it is connected to a car or some other device, every time I try to make a call, I only can use the hands free speaker or the headphones, because if I use the normal speaker to listen with the phone next to my face, the person that I am calling can listen me, but I dont..
so what I think it happens is like.. the phone connects to the car, the car is with the client, so, now, I can't have the the device "on" to my phone recognise it, so I would be able to delete it..

I can't export my contacts from iPhone5 with iOS6.0.1 to the Comand NTG4-W204 in Mercedes C280 2008. No problem with pair both devices,call and speak,good voice quality, just impossible contacts loading to the Comand. This is frustrating, any other mobile phone does it, but iPhone5 doesn,t...???
I don't know where is the reason of this problem in iPhone5 or in Comand and what and where something should be updateed, upgraded, installed, reinstalled..etc HELP!If it's slow on startup it would be extensions loading or LaunchDaemons starting up.
You should have a look in:
/Library/LaunchDaemons
/Library/Extensions
You can count out anything in your home folder and it shouldn't put anything in /System as that's reserved for Apple. -

I can't pair iPhone5 with Cookoo watch via bluetooth.
Bluetooth is on. But iPhone5 can't discover any device.
I turned on bluetooth on my old iPad2 - the same story.
They are searching, but see nothing.
May be somebody have experience?OK! I've found the disision!
1. Press and hold the CONNECT button on your watch for 6 seconds to place it in pairing mode.
2. Open the COOKOO App on your phone.
If you haven’t already downloaded the COOKOO app, you can find it on the App Store (for iPhone/iPad)
The COOKOO app will automatically search for nearby COOKOO devices and automatically connect with the closest device.
3. When prompted, select the option to “Pair” with your COOKOO watch.
Once the pairing is complete, the COOKOO icon will remain solid to indicate that your watch is connected.

I just downloaded the IOS upgrade, 7.0.2, and now my iPhone 5 won't pair with my Bluetooth in my car, despite repeated attempts to re-pair the two and despite the fact it's been paired fine previously. The car system tells me it's paired but then when I try to make a call I get another message that says there is no paired phone.
You can't override it no matter what you do. The device has to connect to the server to complete the iOS update. You could try rebooting the iPad and see if that lets you connect to the server after it starts up.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If that will not work, you can try connecting to iTunes on your computer and see if the activation will complete. Sometimes when thes activation issues arise, you end up having to restore the device again, but first things first. Reboot and see what happens. -

on a real phone(Nokia 7610) this functions return null, but I have paired devices (and one of them are active when I tried this app)on my phone.

vahearI don't think Siri support for auto Bluetooth is official yet. It sort works in mine, a Fiat 500, but I have to use the home button on my iPhone to enable Siri, the voice command button on my steering wheel doesn't do it. I would say keep checking the Siri/iPhone page on apple.com for info on when auto kits will be supported.

My husband has paired his phone using the remote app to the apple TV- I would like to do the same with my phone. Can we pair more than one phone to the tv using the remote app ?
Yes I believe so. Try it and see you can always delete the Apple TV from a remote if it messes things up.
But we have three remotes setup to do this. My iPhone and iPad and my wifes iPhone. She has a different iTunes logon but it seems to work fine
