My iPhone5 is stuck after having installed ios8

Hi! I've installed ios8, iTunes said me my iPhone was good to... it was installed in my iPhone at the end of the process the white screen with the apple has come and it has never left in the last hour. I tried to reinitialize it clicking on/off button and menu but nothing has happened, I also tried several times to take off the cable of iTunes... and restart the Mac... nothing has happened.
Sometimes the screen gets grey... and then the apple comes back.
What can I do??? I need my phone!

Can't open Logic Pro after having installed Mountain Lion

After having installed Mountain Lion I can't find Logic Pro (the latest version) back in my programs. I do still find all of my sessions. Trying to open a session a "Basic Content Download" starts. Just before the end of the download the computer asks for my password. After I've typed it and pressed enter the download stops.
This means I can't open any of my sessions.
What should I do?

If you used the Mountain Lion installer it will have "migrated" your iWork software to the new system.
Unfortunately that doesn't always work properly. I had to reinstall mine from the original DVD.
If you can't find your DVD then you will have to purchase the iWork software individually from the Mac Store.
Just make sure to completely uninstall your existing iWork from your System first:

Are these shown in the App Store's Updates page? If not, then you don't need them. You could download the full Mavericks installer application if you want to create a bootable USB flash drive installer or just to keep handy should you need it (store it in your Downloads folder.)

Is it possible to switch back to ios5 after having installed ios6 on ipad 2? Cant open web pages and dont like some functinalities so would like to go back.

Appart from the non indefferent fact that is becoming just like that other giant microsoft and it took me 20 minutes to get everything settled before i could actually ask a **** question which by chance arose from the fact that i was wasting time not being able to access some login page i usually can access from my ipad2. The problem seams to be the new ios6 which i fullheartly installed but appart from the everchanging funcionalities that are fine when you are a teen but are a nuisance when you have little time there seam to be changed under the hood to that dont allow for the normal use i make of the internet.

After having installed Mavericks I have problems with PSCS5 and the RAW converter. The glider for Exposure goes back to zero, when I use the fill in glider.

Single click on the Home button. Then double click on the Home button. In the recently used row, touch and hold the Contact app till they start to wiggle and then tap the minus sing by the contacts app.
Also make sure the Contact program on your computer is closed.

Partitioning HD after having installed Windows XP via Boot Camp

Okay, hope this is the right place and that what follows makes sense. Tech told me to go ahead and use Boot Camp to install XP Pro and that after doing that I could then further partition the hard drive for scratch and file-arrangement purposes.
So I got my Windows in and it works well. But when I go to Disk Utility to make partition(s)--resize, click on the "+" and so on--and then click "Apply," I get this kinda terrifying message that if I go forward I MAY NOT be able to boot into Windows. That sounds ambivalent.
So I didn't go forward for fear of losing access to Windows. But I really need at least a scratch volume for Photoshop 7.0, which I can use only in Windows at the moment. (That's why I installed Windows.)
Now I can't partition? Or can I go ahead? I'm asking before making a mess here. Thanks to any for assistance.

Things have been running a bit slowly on my mac of late, several months after having installed 8 gig of fresh ram

Good evening, folks.
I'm running with a 13 inch 2011 macbook pro. Some months ago, I upgraded from 4 to 8 gigs of ram. Things were snappy and running very smoothly, however, over the past several weeks or so, I've noticed a decline in efficiency. I do run my chrome browser constantly, usually itunes is open, but beyond that my applications are open only when they are in use. I do have usually 2-3 spaces available as organization of my display. I've ran an EtreCheck report, however, I don't know how to interpret it. Any help?

Apple Mail crashes after having installed Mavericks

I have installed the new OS Mavericks and mail is now crashing as soon it is launched.
This is a BIG problem, as I have multible accounts to administer!
Is this a known bug and does anybody out there have the same problem or better a solution!?

Try deleting the cache associateed with Mail.
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following:
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail/Data/Library/Caches/com.apple.mail/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Restart your Mac and try Mail.

Why do I get the message "The item referred to by this shortcut cannot be accessed. You may not have the appropriate permissions." after having installed the updated version of Firefox, and the program won't start?

I have tried to install the updated version several times, and each time I get the same message. I have never experienced this kind of a problem with Mozilla before.
I have a Windows 7 system and a new computer, so I suppose it's not a computer bug.

Having difficulty logging onto a home wifi network after having installed latest iOS

Having just downloaded the latest iOS, I can't now log onto my home wifi network. Anybody else having a similar issue?

Try restarting your WiFi router by removing power for 30 seconds.
On your iPad use Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings

I am stuck after having agreed to the licers agreement.

I cannot continue to the next step/page. I have never used my apple id in Appstore before and because I´ve never done that I come to a page where I have to confirm the licers agreement. I have marked that box to agree to this but after that I can´t continue. It´s quite frustrating.
Because of this I can not use Appstore.

Thanks for the help but I actually followed the advice from another user with the same problem. I don´t know why it didn´t work before but I just couldn´t scroll down to the bottom of the page of the "license user agreement". Now that I tried again and really scrolled down as far as I could I found the button "approve" but in swedish (=godkänn) so now it´s working...
Then I came to a page where I wrote my payment details and now I can shop in appstore. Yeah!!!!

Can't sync iPhone5 with iTunes after updating to iOS8

So I've updated my iPhone 5 to iOS8 and since then, I cannot sync my iPhone to my iTunes anymore. It keeps saying that my mac isn't one of the five authorised computers when it has been authorised ever since i bought this iPhone. I tried quitting iTunes and try again, same thing happened. Tried rebooting my phone as well but things are still the same.
Also, a little problem on top of this is that whenever i try to paste a number at the phone app at where the numbers are suppose to appear (above the number pad), the phone app automatically crashes. Someone please help!!!

Try doing a Reset All Settings on your phone. This will put all the settings on the phone back to factory default. You will not lose any content, but you will have to go back into settings and turn on or off anything you have set, including email if you want to have to manually check for email rather than have the phone push it to you automatically.

Why can't I uninstall firefox 3.5 after having installed 4?

I've recently installed firefox beta 4 and want to uninstall version 3.5- however, it wasn't successfull via control panel/add-remove programs. clicking on uninstall isn't working. any ideas?

Is it ok to install 10.4.3 after having installed iLife'06?

I currently have version 10.3.9 and installed iLife06. I have incurred a few problems since. First I lost all my photos, and when I was able to retrieve them I got double of each photo. I also cannot access any of the iDVD projects (slideshows). It actually just shuts down when I try to open an open iDVD file I was working on before I installed iLife06.
If anyone can help please answer:
1) is it correct I need to install Tiger 10.4.3 to be able to run iPhoto, iDVD etc. '06? And if yes do I need to uninstall iLife06 first or ok to install Tiger at this point?
2) what can I do about the duplicate of each photo iniPhoto?

This is cut/pasted from the requirements for iLife6 found in the Apple store:
Mac OS X v10.3.9 or Mac OS X v10.4.3 or later; Mac OS X v10.4.4 recommended
If you do an archive and install of Tiger from the retail version of OS X, you should be OK.
Your other problems should be solved first, in my opinion, before you try installing OS X. I suggest you post the iPhoto and iDVD issues in those forums for better feedback.

In general, a 2010 model Mac should be able to re-install Snow Leopard. It would require a complete backup, a complete wipe, then install of Snow Leopard. Then be careful not to restore OS X Mt. Lion files over SL, when restoring your data files and applications.
What is the Mac Model Identifier in About This Mac/More Info/Hardware Overview?
Are you using the Restore disc that came with that model Mac? If not, you may need to purchase a retail Mac OS X Snow Leopard Install DVD 10.6.3 from Apple for $19.95.
