My iphone5 quit charging last night and it wont charge on any other usb. is it a goner?
My phone charged all day yesterday and when i went to plug it up last night it was charging. Woke up this morning to a dead phone and it wont charge on any usb. Is it done for?
Do you have access to another cable that is known to be good to rule out a problem with the cable being used?

Did the power adapter have adequate air circulation around it?
Power adapters do get warm, and if confined, get hot.

Use common sense to avoid situations where your skin is in contact with a device or its power adapter when it’s operating or plugged into a power source for long periods of time. For example, don’t sleep or place a device or power adapter under a blanket, pillow, or your body when it’s plugged into a power source. It’s important to keep iPhone and its power adapter in a well-ventilated area when using or charging them. Take special care if you have a physical condition that affects your ability to detect heat against the body.

I have an unlocked 3GS and it is NOT jailbroken. It ran out of battery last night and when i charged it this morning it has got stuck on the apple logo wont do anything else. My computer doesnt pick it up either! Can somebody HELP please!!!
nb. i havent updated it for a while to its running a 3. something software.Connect the iPhone to your computer and launch iTunes, then restart the iPhone by holding down the on/off and the home buttons until you see the Apple logo. I can not get my Ipod 4 Gen to log into free WIFI hot spots. It shows that I am connected but I have no internet activity. I was in several hot spots last night and could not log in, other people were, but I could not. HELP!
- Did the other users who successfully connected have iDevices?
- Frequently you have to open Safari/a browser and agree to the terms and conditions of the wifi spot before yo can get to the internet. Some wifi spots use Flash or Java to log on which the iPod (and other iDevices) do not support)
- Have you tried resetting network settings: Settings:General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

last night i put my iphone on the charger and when i went to call somebody that morning it wouldnt turn on . i tried everything . My phone always get hot when in use or charging ? i still have a warranty . would apple replace it for free ?
Take it to a Genius Bar at Apple store ,they will evaluate the iPhone and advise you accordingly

Let it cool down, then reset your device: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss)

I've left it charging for about an hour now, the charger is brand new so it can't be that, and I can't restart it because my lock button is broke:(( anyone know what might be wrong or what I can do to sort it out:(
Typically you would want to reset device however since you can not.

In case it's the battery.. connect the iPhone to a wall outlet or a computer via USB then try restarting.
Restart your device: Hold the power button until "slide to power off" appears. Slide to power off. After it is off, press the power button to turn it back on. -
I got out of my bed last night and accidently got shocked by my Ipod and now it won't charge. I tried using a different charger and my Ipod dock but it wouldn't show that it was charging. I turned it off last night and left it on my dock and turned it on this morning and it had a low battery then all off a sudden it was fully charged. Can anyone please help me because I don't want to have to get a new Ipod just because of that?

For the future, saying you tried everything provides use with no information as to what you did try -

You can try drying it out internally by wrapping the unit in a paper towel and putting it in a bag with a dessicant safe for electronics such as silica gel pellets, or failing that in a bag of dry, uncooked rice, for a few days. It's very probable that it's been permanently damaged, but it's possible that if you dry it out, it may then work. If after a few days in the bag it still has problems, then you'll need to pay to get it exchanged (by Apple) or repaired (by a third-party repair service) or buy a new iPhone.
