My iPhones email app is not checking automatically for emails, only when I open it.. How to fix?

Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Fetch New Data > On
then scroll down to bottom of that page to check whether you want to fetch email:
every 15 minutes
every 30 minutes
hourly
manually

This may not work but it can't hurt to try. Restart the iPad and then try again.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

i Have tried to download many apps now, after downloading flappy bird, my ipod wont let me play any games without lagging or glitching out. An example of this is downloading iron pants. the app downloads and starts up just fin but when i click start it imediatly crashes and does not work.

You can enable Lost Mode for the lost/stolen iPhone to access a array of features. If the iPhone is locatable when it is connected to the internet, then a location will appear on icloud.com/#find. For more information, visit here or contact Apple.

Ebedded Flex app does not play automatically

I have a flex app that is embedded in a web page.
When the page loads for the first time the app does not run
automatically but is in "loop" mode.
In order to embed the application in the html page we have
copied the html and javascript files that the Flex builder
generates :
AC_OETags.js, history.htm, history.js etc.
This only happens the first time the page is loaded,
subsequently it loads and plays automatically.
I would be grateful is anyone has some insight here.

We did the following:
1) disable automatic starting of the SWF in the script that
created the plugin by adding these parameters:

2) adding some own javascript to the template-html:

This way when the application loads and plays correctly, the
delayed call to playMovie in the html-template does nothing,
because the flag isMovieLoaded was already set by the application.
If that is not the case, the movie is explicitly startet via
the start function.

You must Restore the phone. It will probably only worth with an AT&T SIM, unless your friend had AT&T unlock it first. The phone may be jailbroken, also; one indication of this would be the app "Cydia" on the phone's Home screen. If it is the phone is most likely worthless to you.

Software update not checking automatically

I recently noticed that SU hasn't been checking automatically for any updates although it used to on my PB G4...
Thoughts?

Is your internet connection stable?
You could try trashing the software update preferences to see if that helps. The one you need to move is found in Macintosh HD>Library>Preferences and the file name is com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.plist.
You should restart your computer after this; then reset the preferences you want.

I plugged it into my iTunes to see if it would pop up, but that didn't work either. My phone is updated, and I'm pretty sure I already accepted the new terms and conditions on the last update a few months back.

If you are having issues with your iPhone continuing to ask you to accept terms and conditions, you may want to try some things to troubleshoot.
First, quit all running applications and test again -
Force an app to close in iOS
Next, I would try restarting and if needed resetting the iPhone -
Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If the issue is still present, you may want to restore the iPhone as a new device -
How to erase your iOS device and then set it up as a new device or restore it from backups

Im having this same problem an my phone is about 3 weeks old. I am not sure about the voice over part though...I have not yet figured out how to work the voice recognition part of the phone...I am such a newbie with this phone. I did the power off/on suggestion, several times. I tried leaving it off for 10 minutes. Tried to reset with the power on/off and home button pressed at the same time. Charged battery. Still makes no difference. You cannot scroll any direction. Have to double click to open apps. Have to double click letters when texting or emailing in order to get the letter in the text box. Can scroll through app choices, have to click on the line with the dots in it and move from page to page. Can't access the settings - > general - > accessibility - because it won't allow me to scroll down to "general".
Anyone help you with your fix yet?

Hmmmm... would appear that you need to be actually logged in to enable the additional menu features.
Have you tried deletting the plists for MAS?
