The itunes store keeps saying that it is temporarily unavailable and to try again later. It has been like this for about a week now and I have tried everything. My software is up to date on both my laptop and itunes so I cannot see why it would be taking this long to resolve. I can see the visual banners on the start page and can search music but I am not able to make changes to my account, sign out of my account, purchase music or redeem vouchers etc. Please help if you can!

Hi,
My thought is to check the current IP of the server, as your smb.conf has the line interfaces = 192.168.1.109 which means samba will only listen on that interface for requests. If the IP of the server has changed, that would explain why samba isn't working. -
I recently downloaded iTunes on a new computer. I have verified using another computer. I have also tried changing the compatibilty settings and other troubleshooting suggestions even though they were recommended for XP and Windows 7. My OS is Windows 8.
Is iTunes compatible with Windows 8 or are there any suggestions to help me with this? If it isn't compatible, are there plans for future updates?I keep getting that too when I try to sign-in.
Initially, when I opened iTunes this morning I got a message that said something about my iCloud has expired. When I ignored that, all purchases that are stored in the iCloud disappeared from my library listing. The only thing still in the library listing are purchases that are not currently stored in the iCloud. So, I exited iTunes and opened it again and noticed that my account had been signed-out. I checked my windows 7 pro machine for the module I see many copies if the DLL with different dates two different sizes all are version 11.0.51106.1 so I guess there are 32bit and 64bit versions. Some are in Adobe folders some in Wacom folders ad in two windows folders including system32. I do not know if there is and entry point "_crtCreateSymbolicLinkW" in it.

and i mean the phone would have been activated in the first place with the sim card you get given when you first get the phone.
trying to activate the phone with another sim card that you did not get when you brought the phone may result in you not being able to activate it

Go to Settings/ Store and under the category "Automatic Downloads" you can turn OFF the automatic download of purchases to your device (this needs to be done for each device). There's also a setting in iTunes just for automatic pushes to your iTunes library.
To remove a purchase you've made directly to your device, you can either:
a- Swipe across the song title from left to right and press Delete, or
b- If you auto-sync your device, connect to iTunes and click on the Music tab where you define your sync settings (the Music tab is to the right of the overall Summary page of your device). At the bottom of the Music tab you'll see direct purchases that are on your device -- simply un-check those and click "Apply" or "Sync" to remove them.
c- If you manually manage music on your device, connect to iTunes and click the small arrow to the left of your device name, and then click on the Music folder under your device. Then navigate to the item(s) you want to remove and then delete them.
To prevent things from syncing from your library to your device, there are many ways to do that (un-checking things in your library is one way, but not the best IMO). Might want to read the manual or some online tutorials on iTunes if you want to learn more. -

Hi All,
I had this problem today myself, and was frustrated repeatedly by the '4002' error.
I have literally just fixed the issue by doing the following steps:
1: Go to the 'Store' tab and select 'Turn Off iTunes Match'
2: Return to the 'Store' tab and select 'Update Genius'
3: Wait for this to complete succesfully, the return to the 'Store' tab once more and select 'Turn On iTunes Match'.
4: iTunes Match will now go through the motions and should succeed!

So what can I do? I have Scrabble on my IPhone but since I downloaded the current update, I can no long play my games. It constantly says "Error" Please try again later but it continues to say the same thing time and time again. I purchased the game so I don't want to lose it. My apple tv is not working. I have rented 4 movies and I cannot open any of them. My Apple TV is located in USA. Anywy I am traveling at the moment outside US, but cannot watch my rented movies. I have 4-5 mbps for Downloads. It works fine when opening websites and downloading large files from the Internet. I have set-up my IP to "automatically" as you suggested, even though I believe this was the default setting.
I changed the resolution in Settings > Itunes Store > Video Resolution from 1080p to 720p. Then I rented again "Salmon Fishing in the Yemen", (but now using HD 720p) and I get exactly the same error.
Then I changed it to Standard Definition and now is working. Basically what I have found out is that if I rent movies in HD 1080p or HD 720p it will simply not work.
I believe 4-5 mbps is very fast internet connection, so the errors above should not be appearing.
Feedback for Apple TV developers is to show estimated time for full downloads when using 1080p or 720p so the user can understand what is going on. Very frustrating as I just bought the Apple TV for watching HD movies. I have a 55" HD Sony Bravia tv ready to be used... !!! -

so i have previous purchases that are showing as needing to be downloaded but they do not appear in my itunes download list. i have clicked the link to download them however everytime i do the error message pops up saying "the itunes stoe is temorarily unavailable. please try again later." i am able to download new stuff and mae purchases but the others are not showing up. i have also updated my mac and updated itunes to the newest version of software,checked my firewall to make sure it is disabled to make connection,and checked any other system issues i could have according to the "online support" system. my internet is working fine as well.it has been like thi for three days now and is getting very irritating.has someone else been having this issue or has had this issue and resovled it help me please?
