My iphoto( all the software in ilife) was disappear
how are you? after the winter break i opened my mac pro and i found my iphoto are disappear!!! also imovie is disappear. i buy this pro in sep2009 and 3 yrs photos and vedio are in it. In the end of 2012, some water was into my pro but my pro is running well now. please tell me why and the solution.

As you have a Mid 2009 MacBook Pro, your Mac came with DVDs.
To reinstall iPhoto, just insert the Applications Install Disc into your Mac, and install your iLife applications (iWeb, iDVD, iPhoto, GarageBand, iMovie) from there. Then, open > Software Update to install the most recent version available for them

I was directed to adobe to download CS4 on my new iMAC after hardware failure on PC. The valid CS4 serial number for the PC is now not recognized by Adobe, even though I downloaded all the software successfully on the new iMac.. Purple Lobster your Creative Suite 4 serial number is for Windows or Mac only. If you were previously using it on Windows then it is likely you have a Windows license. If you wish to run Adobe Creative software on your new iMac then I would recommend a Creative Cloud complete or single application membership. I open the iPhoto and the software update prompt up, telling me to update to the latest version, so I did. After updating everything, I tried to open it again the same thing happen. So I went to the software update and click it the was a prompt up telling that the softwares are up to date. So what do I do?

Probably all depends on your past experience, but I'm getting a new Macbook Air next week, and I will be purchasing Microsoft Office. I have been using Word and Excel for years, and know all of the tricks, bells, and whistles, so just really don't want to go through a major learning curve to figure out how to use a new word processing and spreadsheet processing system.
I've had a little experience with Pages on my iPad (which I know is not even a close comparison to what is on the Mac), but I'm just more comfortable with Word.
So, I'd say depends on whether you want something that you are comfortable with, or something that is a new adventure! What's your pleasure?

We are using 64bit Windows 2003 and Hyperion Planning and Essbase in 2 separate servers. I am not sure whether Windows can have a summary report to show all the software components and version installed and show it is 32bit or 64bit version installed?

I just migrate settings and software, include CC, from my PowerBook to a new Mac Pro. All the software download from CC is there and working, except for CC, and there is not way to install. I have try because every time I restar keep bothering asking for installation, (by the way, the link is not up to date). Will appreciate your help.
never migrate adobe software. it should be properly installed.

I have an apple iMac G5 running Mac OS 10.4.11 can i upgrade it to 10.5?
If so will i also loose all the software currently installed on my Mac? eg. Adobe software.
I have moved countries (opposite side of world) so i do not have my install disks, or the disks that came with my Mac.
Where can i get the 10.5 upgrade from?
Do i need my original disks that came with my Mac?

I have never had any problems with my G5, it's been my awesome helper these past 7 years, I can't say the same thing for my new Mac, but it seems now my poor G5 is slowly being made redundent because they no longer write software for it.
I don't see why i should pay for a new Mac because my old one does not always function on the web, or having a new printer because it does not support the new software.
My New Mac Laptop has had no end of troubles since i bought it less than a year ago.

After the install completed I tried running the software, and I got a message telling me I can't run this version with my operating system. iTune says installation complete and then start looking for iPod and then again suggests to reinstall the programs. I do not see any display on the iPod

If you were creating a mail message, it might be in the drafts folder of the e-mail program.
What evidence do you have the computer restarted itself? Did the Apple logo come up? -
