Unless you manually set your backup settings to exclude your camera roll, camera roll photos and videos are included in your iCloud backup. If the missing videos were on you phone when it was last backed up, restoring to the backup should recover them.

Are you able to view them in full size in the library, i.e. don't get this
when you try to view the photo in full size? If you can then you can do the following to consolidate all of the master image files inside the library.
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.>Click on the Add Library button,
2 - select the library you want to add from those in the selection window.
3 - make sure that in the rebuild window the checkbox "Scavange orphaned photos" is checked.
4 - now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the Library ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
5 - in the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed. Click on the Create button.
Note 1: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost.
Note 2: Your current library will be left untouched for further attempts at a fix if so desired.

If it's slow on startup it would be extensions loading or LaunchDaemons starting up.
You should have a look in:
/Library/LaunchDaemons
/Library/Extensions
You can count out anything in your home folder and it shouldn't put anything in /System as that's reserved for Apple.

Accidently deleted my iPhoto library. How can I restore it from my Ipod?

I have most of my photos backed up on my external so thats no big deal. i have some recent photos from a convention i was at that are not backed up on my external. But they are on my 5g iPOD.
So i know there are "ways" to pull your music off the ipod but is there also a "way" to get the photos off your ipod.
I hate to lose these pictures from my own dumb mistake so i would any help.

Try XPlay Photo Browser for recovering Photos. It works only on a Windows PC, but you may have luck finding one to use for your recovery effort. See the platform requirements on the website.
Other than that, try posting in the iTunes for Mac forum. There may be other Mac-centric folks who can point you to an appropriate software solution.

If the above doesn't work, try reset all settings
Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
Note: Data will not be affected but settings for Wi-Fi, FaceTime, Message, Home Sharing, Wall Paper, Sound etc will be reset

My computers hard drive has stoped working. How can I retrieve my itunes library? My back ups were on this hard drive as well.
When I brought my computer to be fixed they said they would retrieve photos and music and documents but loose my programs. That being said I am not sure if I will recover my music from itunes because it may fall under the program category. I support itunes by purchasing from itunes, but now i am in a position where i may loose years of purchassing music and it has me feeling a little bit sick to be honest...the stress this is causing is really big. DÙoes anyone have any experience with this type of problem?

If the data is recoverable from the drive then they should have recovered the entire iTunes folder which includes the library database. Restore this into the <User's Music> folder of a replacement system, install iTunes, and it should be as before.

How did you install it in the first place? If it came with your Mac, and the Mac didn't come with Lion installed, then reinstall iLife from the Applications disc that was in the box. If you no longer have that disc, you'll have to order a replacement from Apple customer service. Either that, or restore the iPhoto application from your backups.
If you got iPhoto from the App Store, you can download it again by launching the App Store application.

IPhoto Library Missing - can't restore old library to new iPhoto

I always, always back up on Time Machine - all the time.
iPhoto 9.23 was non responsive and I backed up to TM again.
I couldn't restore or update iPhoto 9.23 so I uninstalled it, and installed iPhoto 11.
Trying to locate my iPhoto library is a nightmare.
I've downloaded iPhoto Library Manager, but can't find anything.
Are my pictures somewhere on Time Machine or did I loose it completely?
Please assist as I am out of options!

That can be an indication that there is no iPhoto app found in the Applicaiton folder to open the library with. Make sure your iPhoto.app is in the Applications folder and not in a sub folder. Also make sure the app works as TD has already suggested. If it doesn't you'll need to reinstall iPhoto.
