My ipod 5 touch has just been stolen today. I dont know if the "find my ipod touch" is on or not and im not sure if i have the number. is there ANYTHING i can do to find it?
my ipod touch 5 got stolen today at the fair..is there any way i can get it back? im not complelty sure if "find my ipod" is on and im not sure what the C number is on it. are they any other options i can maybe try? i know i have whatever photos that are on my ipod or whatever photos are taken automatically go my private photo album on facebook
The only way to track or take additional actions is if Find my iPod was enabled. Go to http://icloud.com, click Find my iPhone; if it doesn't list your iPod then it wasn't enabled.

You need a minimum of 10GB of free space for normal operations
You need to address that first - the best soution may be to get an external drive formatted Mac OS extended (journaled) and drag your iPhoto library to it - depress the option key and launch iPhoto and point to that library
Hopefully that will let you get started - there may be additional repairs needed

Find My iPhone will display the last location of the device for 24 hours:
Click on the device on iCloud under Devices (even though the dot is gray). It will take you to the map to show you where it was last "seen" online.

I tried to update my iPhone 4S but I now keep getting an error saying I need to restore my phone before it can be used because it's in recovery mode! Anything that was on the phone is already gone. You have no choice but to restore. If you were backing up and syncing the phone on a regular basis, you should be able to restore your backup with minimal data loss.

Try the remaining items of:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
