My ipod (5th gen) has been stuck in the apple logo or shows the low battery logo after resetting. it is connected to my computer but itunes does not recognize it
and the home button doesn't work so i cant try the home button and power button method. Should i get my home button fixed and try it or is it something else?
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Sounds like you need a new battery. Take the iPod Nano to an Apple store or an AASP. Whichever is more convenient for you.

My iPod 5th gen has been doing this for awhile, though it progressively got better over time, it still happens occasionally like when I'm out running. My iPod is never able to connect strongly to any WiFi network. All the WiFi networks keep disappearing and then coming back, and this is infuriating because it wont let me sign in to iTunes or IMessage at all or update my iPod easily. My date and time keeps getting off track and every time i set it back to normal it just gets messed up again. Now it wont let me connect to iTunes and receive push notifications. Greetings, I am working in Final Cut Pro 7. In the timeline some clips show as offline. I tried going to sequence and reconnecting to media but it does not work. I can still see the video in the timeline and work with it. It just has the red box. Thanks! Olga
If the clips are not actually missing, you could try to refresh the timeline by using cmd-0 and then going to the timeline options tab. Then select name only where it says "thumbnail display". Press ok to accept the change, then repeat the process to add thumbnails back to your timeline.

I was Updating my Iphone 4s to iOS 6 through itunes. an error happended now iphone stuck on connect to itunes logo screen . tried tukrning on and of it connects but itunes does not recognize so i can restore .. any ideas?
Dont know if accidently fixed it or not i got it to be recogniced by itune im restoring it now. i held the power/sleep button till turned off. then while holding the home button under the screen connected it to the usb wire .. also i change the usb port i was using on my computer dont know if it was luck or what but glad i got my phone back.

Try resetting your iPod. This is probably different for different generations of iPod, but you can find the correct procedure in your manual. For mine, I first must flip the "hold" button on the bottom of the iPod to red and then to normal. Then press and hold the center of the click wheel and the top (menu side) of the click wheel simultaneously for 10 seconds. When I release the unit rests. It takes a minute or so. Then connect the iPod and iTunes will find it. If it still doesn't work properly try selecting "Restore" on iTunes while the iPod is connected.

This is first Ipod for me - I have had less than one day. Screen is frozen with itunes emblem and cable. Unable to refresh/restore or do anything with ipod. I am not tech savvy, to say the least. But the latest versions of itunes and an upgrade for my ipod touch popped up for an upgrade, so I upgraded both. 6th generation nano is stuck in diagnostic mode
Hopefully this will help you. Try placing your iPad in recovery mode again. You may have to try this a few times.

This just started recently...
I am running OS X 10.5.8 on my PPC G5 Dual 2.0 and iTunes 10.4.1.
I am experiencing 2 problems:
1. iTunes no longer sees my iPod Nano - the iPod shows on my computer but iTunes does not display the "DEVICES" section in the left side bar.
(It had been working before but I think this happened after I upgraded to iTunes 10.4.1)
2. Whenever I quit iTunes it takes a few seconds to close the iTunes menu bar and then displays the error message "the application itunes quit unexpectedly".
I have been all over these forums and followed every bit of information I could find.

I had a third party software/plug-in called JAX installed with iTunes.
I uninstalled it and now iTunes 10.4.1 recognizes my iPod.

I have not been able to sync my iPhone 5s on my PC sincethe most recent update to iTunes. My computer showsthe iPhone as connected, but iTunes does not recognize it. I tried the trouble shooter and got device not recognized. I clicked the help button beside the failed test and get iPod instructions. How do I get iPod instructions for work for an iPhone? Better, how can I get this to show iPhone instructions? (On my other computer, I had to uninstall every Apple product to get the new iTunes to work.)

Ipod was corrupted i restored it now windows and itunes does not recognize

Every time I try and record and play it back its just all fuzzy, is there anyway of fixing it without having to send it off for repair?
- Make sure the mic hole is clear and unobstructed. It is the little hole on the back by the camera lens(if has back camera). For the 16 GB one without the back camera the mic hole is on the tope edge near the center.
- Open the Voice Memos app and see if you see movement on the VU meter needle with changes in noise level trying to be recorded.
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

When I try to Flash on Mac, only an outline of images appear, paint bucket will not work to fill any of ovals or rectangles. I can see the images have been imported but will not appear on screen. Same program works with PC but will not work on Apple.
