My Ipod can't play music

I explain you my problem : my Ipod starts to play songs, everything is ok. But after few songs, i can't play anymore, I mean it tries to play the songs but without any success and he goes to the next song and so one. And if i want to come back to the main menu, it becomes frozen... I already reseted it! please help! thanks a lot!

Id say a restore will cure this. Restoring an iPod will wipe it clean and then you will use iTunes to load it back up with your music on the PC. You will also use the updater to update the software on the iPod. the latest iPod updater is 2006-03-23 and can be downloaded here http://www.apple.com/ipod/download/

Did you ever get a solution for this? I'm having the same problem on my iPod Touch, but Apple refuses to service it because they noticed a bump near the volume control when I sent it in. Accidental damage, out of luck, out of $300. It was two months old. I'm no technician, not by a long shot, but to me, bumping it there is a long way away from the headphone jack. Not to mention, it had to have been weeks in between whenever that happened and the headphone jack going out. I'm so furious and disappointed in the experience I've received from them. They've been very nice stonewalling me, but now I'm just annoyed with the thing every day and just want the battery to run out so I can go get some other device. Anyway, what ever happened here?

The iPod classic supports composite or component video. Unless you have something with enough smarts in the cable to convert that to HDMI then it isn't going to happen. There are no apps for the iPod classic and it doesn't have the hardware. Does the TV have component, composite, S-Video or SCART inputs? Any of these could be driven from the classic.

I just updated to OS 4.0, and now my iPod doesn't play music

I just installed OS 4.0, and now I can't play music. If I select a track then it will take me to the "Now Playing" screen, and sometimes it will immediately bounce back to the track selection screen, sometimes it won't. But either way it won't play. If I press the play button at the bottom of the screen then a play icon momentarily appears next to the battery indicator, then immediately disappears.
Also, when I plug the iPod into my computer, iTunes gives me a "set up your iPod" screen, in which I am offered two options: "Set up as a new iPod" or "Restore from the backup of: Phil's iPod". I don't think I want to do either, do I? Will restoring from the backup revert to the old OS or what?

Huh. I phoned Apple's tech support and was told I needed to restore my iPod, which would mean losing all saved data thereon. iTunes spent ages trying to restore, before telling me that it could not do so - something about data being used by another application. However when I tried using the iPod again I found it was now able to play music. I haven't lost any of my data, and it seems to be working fine now.

I have a similar problem. I recieved an IPAD for my birthday, and my daughter updated my itunes library so i can use it with the ipad...and somehow all my songs (unpurchased from itunes, and downloaded from a large collection of CDs) ...and play lists were deleted. I still have them on my old ipod, and wonder how to get them back onto my computer so I can redistribute some of them to the ipad. I must be getting too old for this tech stuff, it gets less user friendly every year.

How do you updates codes so that your ipod can play music?

Sorry I wasn't clear enough....
1. I bought 3 songs from Itunes Store
2. When I went to sync them to my iPod (i believe generation 4), they wouldn't sync. I get a message that states "iPod can't support music"
3. When I go to the "get info" on the song, it is in "ACC" format which is what you need to import songs from itunes store to your itunes library.
4. So then I think I need to update my itunes. I go to Help-> check for updates-> and I'm asked about 10.5.3 update.
5. I try the update but I can't. I get an "invalid signature". I have a Dell Inspiron computer.
6. 2 of the songs ask for authorization, I type in my apple ID and password and I get "authorized successful, 1 out of 5 computers are authorized". The other song I click play and it immediately goes to a different song. Once I do the authorization, I try to play it and the authorization (username and password box) pops up again.
What steps do I need to do? I don't understand why my itunes purchase songs won't play on my computer nor iPod.

I can't play music or videos on iPod touch 5! When I play music it pauses and plays by itself and then Siri randomly pops up and then goes away again. The same happens with videos on YouTube; when I watch them they randomly pause and my music starts playing and then Siri starts! I have tried resetting it and it is not insured. Please help?

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

- dusconnedc/unpluf any headpohnes. Maybe headphone problem is causing problem
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

For sound, try the audio output port and connecting to the RCA audio input ports on your Pioneer receiver. Use something like this:

Try the restore option, The music and other apps you have purchased will redownload to you're device.

Yes, any audio during the "mirroring" funtion will forward to the appletv. This includes all system audio, games, apps, ect. If you slide the mute botton the side of your ipad to mute then you can block app audio and just get Music audio or Pandora if you are using pandora.

I just installed the latest Apple TV software update today. I can still play music from my iPhone 4 to th eATV but purchased movies don't seem to start playing now - or else the buffering time is huge compared with the previous software version. Any fix

I installed the latest software update on our Apple TV - this allows us to access VIMEO. However, although we can still play music from an iPhone 4 we can no longer play purchased tv shows - unless the buffering process has been extended to be glacially slow! It just shows it is loading but under the previous software release a show would start in a minute or two, nothing is happening afer 4 or 5 minutes with this one.

Yes, AUX in jack. Radio shack may be required to make sure your connectors are compatible. For example, you may need a standard RCA splitter to mini-RCA. The mini-RCA (3.5mm) is for the airport express while the dual (red-black) for your AUX in. Hard to say without seeing the connectors.
Itunes on Mac sends music to airport express (you select it in iTunes), the airport express sends the music out via the mini-RCA, your CD player auxillary input converts the RCA signal to sound.
