My Ipod changed its password while i slept..

I woke up this morning and was going to listen to music onmy iTouch and found out that the password had been changed, and to top it alloff it also changed from a simple password to one where I have t type inletters and numbers. I tried to unlock it and I asked everyone that I knew ifthey had done it but everyone said they hadn't touched it. It was dead so Ijust charged and it says "iPod is disabled, try again in 21,763,762minutes." How can I make that go away and figure out my password? is there anyway you can reset it for me? I’d really appreciate it!

If the password for your Apple ID works at id.apple.com > Manage Apple ID, then it's likely that the Apple ID the device wants you use is not the same as the Apple ID you are using.
Exactly what screen are you at on your iPhone? It sounds like it is in Activation Lock.

Note that if either Communication or System users have authorizations themselves for the user management (S_USER_GRP actvt '05' for the assigned user group) then they will both be able to change passwords (including their own if in that group or not assigned to one).
This is different to changing your own password voluntarily or being forced to by system password rules, but it is also a possibility you should ideally rule out (admin auths for RFC to change passwords).
Unfortunately, several RFC functions and transactions make "bogus" checks on exactly this authorization but do not need them. You you need to be carefull with it. Particularly anything relating to Business Parter functions should be very suspect if you find it in an authorization trace - it is not needed.

A Currency Field is Changing its Format While Loading to Internal Table?

I download custom table data, via RFC call, to an internal table. The field in question has a data type of CURR, length 17, dec 2.
In debug it wants to make it [P(9)DEC2].
table value = 2,360,895.00.
internal table value = 202020202020323.33
table value = 0.00
internal table value = 303839352>30302.02
I know these must be packed, but how do I get what I see (unpacked)?

Are you using RFC_READ_TABLE fm. For me it is not work fine with currency fields

You'll need to connect it to the iTunes library you normally sync it with and restore it. If iTunes asks you for this passcode before it will let you proceed, connect the iPod to iTunes in recovery mode instead using the instructions in this Apple support document.

I recently had a system malfunction. My ipod died one night and i plugged it in the day, i had it set to a four number password. When i unlocked it, the alphabet password to unlock popped up. I HAVE NOT changed my password or touched it since it died. I tried to reset it multiple times without luck, an error message kept coming up in itunes. I tried to call apple but all they wanna do is charge me 30 dollars to file a complaint which is not something i wanna do considering its not my fault apples product doesnt work. i have taken really good care of it. No drops or anything, why wont it work!!!!!!

Is this the error message that you see?
"Disk cannot be read from or written to" error syncing iPod in iTunes.
If nothing else works, you could try a format of the iPod in Windows. A full format does a check and remap of bad sectors on the iPod hard drive, and you would need to restore the iPod as normal (using the iPod updater) afterward. This can also work when the iPod is recognized by the computer, but not by the updater. It's usually a last ditch troubleshooting effort.
First, put the iPod into forced disk mode.

On your PC, go "my computer" and right click on the iPod, then choose "format". Ensure the settings are at "default" and that "quick format" is not checked. Now select "format". It will take a while, but when that's finished, restore the iPod using the updater.
If you need to, reset the iPod to exit disk mode.

I would restore the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod on your computer and start over. It appears the iPod is associated with another account. Any media that came with the iPod does not belong to you and di not transfer with the iPod hardware.
