My iPod classic doesn't open the games anymore it says: need full iPod ???
My iPod doesn't open games anymore ((help))
It says need full iPod !!
Usually a hard reset of the device resolves this error. A reset is equivalent to rebooting your PC. To do the reset, first make sure the Hold switch is in the Off position, then press and hold both the Select (Center) and Menu buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.

I would post in the Illustrator forum here http://forums.adobe.com/community/illustrator or the Dreamweaver forum here http://forums.adobe.com/community/dreamweaver. One of these product forums will be able to help.

ITunes keeps crashing when I plug my iPod classic in or open the store
I've had the following issues with iTunes for the past month or so (I think it has been 2 updates maybe?...):
1, iTunes crashes as soon as I try to open the iTunes store.
2, iTunes crashes as soon as I plug in my iPod classic.
I have rebuilt my iPod. I have scanned/checked the properties (from the Computer area where external devices are displayed). I have opened iTunes in safe mode. I have reinstalled the program following the order suggested on other threads.
I'm lost for any other ideas as to how I can sort this. Is there a fix, or am I going to be looking at a more expensive solution?
I really don't want to risk anything when it comes to my iPad or iPhone so I don't know if it's iTunes or my iPod unfortunately.I don't want to be the bringer of bad news, but these where the symptoms I was getting just before my iPod's hard drive failed (80gb classic).
I tried to restore it, and that seemed to work for a few days. But then it just stopped responding to iTunes, locking up iTunes, and finally wiped its own memory then nothing.
It powered up ok, but did noting else.
It was years out of warranty, getting it repaired by Apple is never cost effective. so I sold it on eBay and upgraded to a new 160gb.
I'm not giving you a definite reason, just my experience. -
How do i get my ipod classic to stop making the sad face and saying to get on apple support?
my ipod classic goes back and forth between a dimmed screen with the apple on it and a bright screen with an i pod classic that has a frowny face on it and an exclimation point and a webside at the bottom saying "apple.com/support/ipod". and i dont know what happened to make it do this.
That usually means the hard drive has failed. You might be able to find a repair shop who can replace the drive or you may be able to do it yourself depending on the model.
It may just be better in the long run to just buy a new iPod. You can get a new 160GB Classic for around $200 or so at some online retailers.

my ipod classic is stuck in the 'this game cannot be launched'mode.as a result i cannot use it for any think.it is not full.
thanks for your help.Try resetting the device. The hard drive may not be full, but the device RAM might be. If resetting doesn't work then perhaps you have many large playlists and these are reducing the amount of free RAM for games.

My iPod classic wont connect to the computer. The light comes on but it doesn't even come up with 'connected' screen on the ipod. Have tried different computers, usb cables and ports, as well as restarting computer, updating itunes, and rebooting ipod. Still works in Logitech iPod player, however it has just wiped itself of all songs so at the moment I'm stuck with a useless iPod. Any suggestions please???
If you happen to have a USB docking cable that is new (or close to being new), try using that one. If the cause is the dock connector on the iPod becoming worn, if you try it with a cable that is not worn, it's possible that it may connect for data.
I believe the dock connector is internally part of the logic board, so it may not be economical to have a repair shop (including Apple Store Genius Bar) do the repair. You'll need to ask for pricing.
If you are good at such things, this web site has DIY repair guides

If it's the most recent iPod classic, it appears to be quite difficult to pry open. I have an older 4th gen (and 3rd gen) "classic" iPod, and those are fairly eash to pry open, using the plastic tools. -
I have looked all over but can't find any games for my ipod. Some older questions from 2010 say that it's under the apps list. Well it's not there anymore. I'm starting to think they don't sell the games anymore. I would love it if somone could tell me for sure, or how to find them. Thank you.
Hi
I have been looking also for games for the ipod classic. You would have thought they would still them since they still sell the ipod classic.
Apple need to update the help guide as it still states how to look for games -
My week old iPod classic doesn't appear to be charged although it has been connected to my laptop. Nothing happens when I select the menu. I've followed the trouble shooting suggestions but nothing has changed. I've shut down my laptop and rebooted it. Still nothing. Any help would be appreciated.
Many thanks
NuggetHow long did you leave the iPod to charge? Have you tried doing a hard reset to see if that makes a difference? To do this, press and hold both the Select/Center and Menu buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.

She downloaded the game Breakaway from the App store yesterday and today when she opened the game it said "this game is not connected to game centers" and the screen went black/blue. I tried resetting without the power adapter and with the power adapter and nothing happens. She has only had the Itouch for 2 weeks.
I did try that numerous times and nothing happened. However, I did eventually get it to work. After trying to reset it numerous times and the screen still just staying frozen I logged into the Home Share portion on the Home computer and deleted the Bubble Birds game. Eventually the Itouch died and I was finally able to reset it by plugging it in and holding down the buttons. I doubt the deletion of the game helped, but since it seemed to be the cause, I went ahead and deleted it. Thank you for your reply.

I recently had to reinstall iTunes on my PC (Windows 7) and lost most of the library. I restored with what I had on my hard drive on the PC, but there is much more music on my iPod classic than is in the iTunes current library. I'm worried that if I synch now it will delete the extra music from my iPod, some of which I don't have available to re-rip etc.. Will this happen, or is it safe to synch more content without losing from the iPod what is already there but not in my iTunes library on the PC? Thanks in advance for any help.
Are you now using a different username from the one you used prior to migrating? If so that is the reason for the problem. You might, then, give this a try:
To fix Home folder permissions
Open the Terminal application in the Utilities folder. At the command line prompt enter or paste the following command line:
sudo chown -R `id -un`:`id -gn` ~
Press RETURN. You will be prompted to enter your admin password which will not be echoed. -
I am playing in Pogo and cannot open the games even though the homepage and others will open. The message is THE CONNECTION WAS RESET WHILE THE PAGE WAS LOADING.
All my friends are playing and it seems I am the only one have this problem. The "The connection was reset" error message can be caused by a bug fix for the BEAST (Browser Exploit Against SSL/TLS) attack that the server doesn't handle.

When I try to open a game in my Game Center, they won't open. I just updated my iPad to the newest version of iOS and won't open my games anymore. Any suggestions
You don't open games from within Game Center. It's meant for giving you your game stats, achievements, progress, etc. You run the game from it's icon. If the game is Game Center capable/enabled, the game itself will prompt you to login where it will keep track of your progress and achievements.
Also, make sure you are signed in to Game Center with your credentials...If the game itself doesn't prompt or bring up Game Center, just tap on Game Center's icon or do it from Settings>Game Center. -

I am not sure when this issue started, but my iPod Classic has lines at the top righthand corner of the screen. They show up on every screen now. The iPod is working, but I don't know if this is a sign of bad things to come. I have dropped the iPod a few times, but not regularly. I also wasn't sure if this means that it is time to update my iTunes software. I am going to try updating the software tonight to see if that fixes the problem. I have tried resetting the iPod, but it doesn't make the lines go away. I am just curious to see if anyone else has had this issue. I have attached pictures because it is probably hard to diagnose my issue without seeing it.
It is not a software issue, since you have reset it and update the firmware.
LCD screen do konk out due to high temperature, or when the pixels are static and burn the screen, like the 2 lines, that's the reason we have screen savers or the screen power down, when not in used. Some users do have screen ON all the time when connecting to iPod Docking stations.
Other defects are due to poor SMT, when the display chip is mounted on the iPod motherboard., normally a band of vertical or horizontal white lines across the screen, these appear within 1 year, and Apple do replace the whole iPod.
You can get LCD screen replaced at Apple, if it is still under warranty or get a 3rd party vendor near your area if you want it done cheaper.
Have a nice day.
