When reading my downloaded paper the Safari page sometimes comes up and I have to press the Home button and start all over again but same thing happens. I even made sure the paper download was the first thing I did on my Ipad and that no other apps were open.
Have you tried a Reset (No Data will be Lost)
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons.

I gave my grandson an IPOD touch and it was stolen before he registered it with ICLOUD. Is there any way to track it?
If your iPod was purchased with a credit card, check with the card company. Some cards provide Purchase Protection insurance which will replace or repair any item lost, stolen or damaged within 90 days of purchase.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

What's the first thing you do with a new computer?
I'm getting a new MBP in a couple of weeks. I've been in the Mac family since my first Performa years and years ago. In the past, I've just opened up the box and started. This time I want to take a different approach and I'm wondering what sort of things you do to/with your computers when they are new and before you start loading them up with "all your stuff." Example: I've thought of using "Color Label" to code everything that originally comes with the computer in one color. Maybe what you do isn't "serious" but it's just about personalizing your Mac.
This will be the first computer I won't have to share with anyone else in the family! It will be mine, all mine. Mine, mine, mine!
ChipFirst off, connect to AC and charge the battery fully. Within the first couple of days, calibrate the battery using these instructions:
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1490
Otherwise, you really can just open the box and start.
Personally, though, I usually reinstall the OS from the Install DVDs that come with the MBP. I do an Erase & Install and I customize the installation to save space (for example, I don't use GarageBand so I omit that, along with limiting the language(s) and selecting only the printer driver families I'll need. Doing that saved me ~4 GB with Leopard (even large HDDs fill up eventually...). -

My ipod touch 5th generation wont charge or turn on at all,
i upgraded to iOS 6.1.3 and after that my ipod started having trouble charging, at first i though the lightning cable was the problem so i bought 2 more lightning cable chargers and my ipod still would'nt charge, so it died. now the only thing my ipod does is when i try to turn it on it shows the apple logo and then the screen goes off and does it again for a few times and then the screen stays off and my ipod gets really hot but wont turn on for the rest of the day help!!The hotness indicate a hardware problem.
Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

If not abused Apple will exchange it for a refurbished one at no coast. otherwise the exchange price is $149. -
IPod turned off and on for the first hour
When I plugged in my brand new iPod Nano for the first time to the cable into my nice iMac, it turned off and on for the first hour with the phrase on screen "Do Not Disconnect." I am guessing that the reason it was turning off was because it didn't have enough juice/power. But then why was it turning on? After an hour it finally had enough juice to stay on. What gives? Do I have a defective iPod? It works fine now. I've never had an iPod before so I don't know how it's supposed to work.
Each time the iPod has run out of power, I get the same symptom. It turns off and on for an hour until it has enough juice to stay on.Maybe someone in the iPod nano Forum would know the answer? You've posted in the 'Using iTunes for Mac' Forum.
You can find the Category page for the iPod nano here:
http://discussions.apple.com/category.jspa?categoryID=154
Please note that is a Category page. You may want to select the First or Second Generation Category or select one of the Forums directly from the list.
I have a nano but have not encountered your problem. Hope you find a solution.

I received an Iphone 5 as a gift two days ago. The first thing I did was set up ICloud for photos. Itunes would not allow me to add songs to my new phone without restoring it, yet when I did this, it deleted all 129 photos of my graduation and friends from the past two days. And I cannot find them anywhere, photo stream, ICloud, nothing. Where can I get back my memories?
Were the photos taken by your new iPhone? If so, did you not import them off your phone to your computer (as you would any other digital camera) before the restore? If not, restoring wiped the data off the phone and your pictures are gone.
Sounds like a good time to (re)read the User Guide. -

How many different computers can I sync my iPod with? My laptop crashed and was completely wiped clean and this was the machine that my iPod synced with so I don't know if it will be counted as a "new" computer when I sync my iPod.
You can sync with onee at a time. Syncing to another will erase the current content.
Copy everything from your backup copy of your old computer to your new one. -
