Your post is abit confusing, especially on getting those weird messages and emails,( assumed in your Windows machine.)
Most likely you have Restored the iPod using the new Macbook pro, using the same name as that in your Windows machine, hence the duplicate name warning, as it is trying to sync Automatically.
If you are syncing your iPod to both the Mac and Windows, you must set it to Manually Manage Music, in the first machine that you setup iTunes with the iPod. Read thsi Apple Support Article
In iTunes, Preference, tick on Prevent devices syncing automatically
Hopefully your music are still in both your iTunes library,
Connect the iPod to the Mac
Restore it (just to fix any filesystem corruption by the Windows end)
Set it to Manually Manage Music
Sync your selected songs in your library.
Whern sync complete, Eject it
Connect it to your Windows PC.
Select the song in the library
Sync it.
It should work if your ipod Hardisk is not giving any problem.

It used to do this thing where it would freeze when it was 100% charged and plugged in and I was using it. I'd just unplug it, restart it (home button and top button) and then it would be fine. That had happened like 5 hours prior to me plugging it in again and then it going totally blank.

Put in in a bag of dry rice for a few days and see if that drys it out. Don't be surprised if it doesn't. You may need to take it to an Apple Store. They will offer you a replacement at a reduced price

You are not addressing Apple here. This is a user to user technical support forum. If you are having warranty issues with the phone, a copy of the bill is not necessary for Apple to check and evaluate the phone. If there is a manufacturer defect, they will deal with it.
What is "not working properly" on the phone. Maybe someone can help and it not be necessasry to be replaced.

So my home button stopped working due to water damage. I put it in the microwave(for real no joke) so the water can evaporate. 2 seconds in and the screen sparked blue and now its not working any suggestions on helping me fix it?

Hey Peter, I think your missing the big picture. Your iPod is past repair, corrosion, is a real issue with water damage, but your problem took a turn for the worst when you attempted to use a microwave to dry it out. I see you found another post from July 2012, where someone else tried to nuke there iPod, and got the same results you have-- a dead iPod. The blue sparks, burnt smell and still not working all confirms one thing... Your iPod is not repairable. What the water didn't damage the microwave did. By attempting to microwave, you for all intensive purposes hit your iPod with an EMP, (Electro-Magnetic Pulse), in the first split second you overloaded the workings of your iPod and burned it up! There is is no way of known which circuits and components have been damaged and to what extend. You may be able to get a refurbished iPod, but it is unclear that Apple will allow it, because of the type of damage, it's not like this was an accident, you deliberately put it in the microwave in a misguided attempt to dry it out. when the microwave turned on it hit ever chip, diode, capacitor etc. with more power than it was designed to handle, in short; you baked it, burned it up, fried it, call it what you want, but it's not going to work! To attempt to repair is a meaningless gesture, (and probably will cost more than it's worth), chalk this one up as bad ideas 101-- learn from it, move on, and get yourself a new iPod. I update my software, which was suggested by mi Ipod "ajustes". It finished and it asked me to connect it to the Itunes. I did so. The Itunes updated the software, and it says "Debe restaurar su Ipod" ... when I try to restore my Ipod it says "error"... and now my ipod is like freeze with the apple like when you turn it on, and with the bar which is not moving.

My twitter app worked perfectly fine before the update and now it wont work, how can i fix this?

I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. I have also deleted my account several times and re-signed in. It is still not working. When i go to the app store, the "open" tab has a little plus at the top...what does that mean? Seriously, i just need help getting the app to work.

My twitter is doing the same thing, I click on it and just a small rectangle with everything on the usual twitter screen condensed. I tried re-installing but no luck. I reset my phone too because when I first installed ios7 my screen went black, still doesn't work. I have to use the app off of my mac for now. So i have purchased my Ipod Touch 5 through apple. The thing is, i do not know why a red long line appeared on my screen all of the sudden. It has not fallen at all so i was just wondering if there is the possibility of sending my ipod into apple and getting another one since i have warranty.

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

Last night my iphone screen all of a sudden was solid blue and now it is black. I tried turning it on and off. Still nothing appeared on the screen. I put it on the charger and this morning it is totally black. However, when I hit the on and off button, I did hear the text message signal go off. When I turned the volume on and off a big white bell flashed. In the last week, there were some other display problems such as the screen blowing up large. The only way to fix it was to turn off the phone and then turn it back on.
What does all of this mean? It seems like I've had these problems since the iphone 4 upgrade.

Are you using the original cable?
You may have to hold the home and lock for longer than 10 seconds.

I got to that page but clicking on the Subscribe Free had no effect.
Nothing showed in the Podcasts nor the iTunes U.
In fact I also subscribed to Stanford's lectures and despite actually managing to DL them there is still no subscription in iTunes U, just the Intro to Computer Science belatedly.
