My iPod doesn't even work, I bought it today!
Listen here, I tried to add some videos, but it didn't work. then I finally found out how to convert files from mpg to m4v... Then I added two m4v files, and one of them worked. Later it popped up a window that I had to update my iPod, and I followed instructions and did everything like I should. Now I'm very unsatisfied of my purchase of this iPod 30 GB. It's only showing a bright, white light. I can't turn it off or on, I can't even open iTunes with it or anything, It's just stuck or something. I really need help! As I see it now, the iPod is totally useless and now it's broken and a piece of junk. What am I supposed to do? I paid so much money for some garbage, please help me, I really need my iPod to tomorrow.
PS: This is the first and the last time I purchase anything from Apple, if the iPod cannot be fixed that is.

Why are Windows users willing to put up with constant virus, adware and spyware concerns and don't say or do the same regarding Microsoft when it comes to Windows?
Try restoring the iPod to factory default settings with instructions provided per this link.

Close All Open Apps... Sign Out of your Account... Perform a Reset... Try again...
Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
Release the Buttons...
If no joy... Try a Restore...
1: Connect the device to Your computer and open iTunes.
2: If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane.

My iPod doesn't give me any choice to access the camera. I have tried sownloading a camera app and restarting my iPod but when I had the camera app the screen just turned black. Any idea what's going on?
Try the following:
- A reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.

My ipod nano 4th generation was set up/registered using my mac computer. Unfortunately it was plugged into a pc and all my files, (song, pics, etc) were erased. When I plugged my ipod into my mac to sync it again, it wouldn't even appear in the source list. I can't even click on it to restore it. It's simply not there. Any ideas on how I can get it to appear in my source list and sync it again using my mac? Suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

So i turned my Ipod on this morning and decided to dowload a few apps, just random games, so as i was downloading them each and every single appa just stopped midway through and either came up with error code - 50 or -8008, someone want to enlighten me? ive been trying to get them to work for a couple hours now.
I seem to be having the same problem. I searched all the posts from the discussions and havent found a solution that works for me. My iTouch, out of the blue, decided it didnt want anymore songs, my PC no longer recognized the USB device. So, I didnt mind losing any of the songs on it when I restored it, got backups, but still cannot connect to iTunes.
Figured it was a software problem on my PC. Got back ups? Restored my PC off a mirror image, downloaded, and reinstalled iTunes. Great! It works! iTunes is detecting it, iPod screen changes from wire connect to iTunes to Mac apple, iTunes detects a iTouch, but it must be restored befor iTunes can sync it. No biggie, did it once, dont mind doing it again.
Clicked restore... Extracting files... Preparing iPod for restoring. iPod screen changes from Mac apple to Mac apple with loading bar for restoring. PC makes "duh dong" noise as if USB device has been removed. iTunes still says, "Prepairing iPod for restore."
Good minute goes by, iPod returns to wire connect to iTunes, and iTunes says unable to restore iPod due to unknown error... Great. Now my PC is back to unable to recognize USB device.
Please help! I tried all solutions on the posts from reinstalling driver to blocking auto startup for iPods. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. -
Since upgrading to iOS 5 and Lion, my iPod 4 calendar has become unusable. It will not sync with iCloud or my Macbook Pro. Suggestions?
Yes. I have already been through every online suggestion on the Tech Support page for iCloud. VERY frustrated at present.

IPod stuck in recovery mode, and doesn't even appear in iTunes, so I can't restore, HELP!
So my iPod appears to be stuck in recovery mode, which shouldn't be a problem, but for some reason is isn't showing up on my computer. - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

My iPod will not show up on iTunes no matter how many things I try. I want to update my iPod, and when it shows up as a removeable disk or as my iPod on My Computer, it doesn't show up on iTunes. Sometimes the iPod doesn't even show up on My Computer and removes itself from my system. Is there any way I can fix this?

Have you tried rebooting both your PC and your iPod? Rebooting the iPod means doing a Reset - holding the Center and Menu buttons down until the Apple logo appears.

I'm running Windows Vista (something I highly regret ever getting), and I was given a new iPod by a friend, and since it was a different iPod than I used before, Vista kept popping a window up when I connected it asking if I wanted to download a driver. It had three options, I think, to browse for the driver, look later, or never ask again. Normally I would click the first two, and the iPod would show up in iTunes still (and the iPod doesn't even need a driver). The last time, I accidentally clicked for it to not ask again, and now the iPod doesn't show up in either My Computer or iTunes.
I really, REALLY hate this computer. Vista has caused nothing but problems, I tell ya. It's always one thing after another.Well start with these articles and see if that gets you anywhere...

Also you might try forcing the iPod into disk mode first, then connecting it to your computer and see if that makes it show up in iTunes...

Does the ipod nano 7th gen work with Belkin Blue tooth In car hands free? Customer support said it did when I bought it, but the box doesn't say it does and I dont want to open it in case I have to return it.
