My ipod doesnt want to play games

when i press a game i looks like its about to turn on  but it doesnt

I just had the same problem!!! Have you tried reseting your iPod? I just tried it and it worked Here's what to do:
1) switch the hold button (located on top) on and off a couple times
2) Hold the "MENU" button and the center button (or select button) for about 6 to 10 seconds. The Apple Logo should appear on the screen.
If it doesn't work , try following the 5 r's (located on the support page). Good Luck

What happens when you try to restore?
If it is asking for the passcode then
Place the iPod in Recovery Mode and restore via iTunes.
iOS: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen
If not successful, try DFU mode.

  • I want to play games like FarmVille and other Zynga games on my ipad but it doesn't seem to work! Can I do this or do I need to buy a tablet?

I want to play games like FarmVille and other Zynga games on my IPad, but it doesn't work, maybe I should have gotten a tablet.

You did, an iPad is a tablet.
Anyway, no Flash based games like those cannot be played because iPad does not support Flash.  In fact, pretty much no tablets short of the ones running Windows 8 Pro will run Flash based games as Adobe has ceased development of the  Mobile version of flash.
It would be better for Farmville and the like to move over to HTML 5 based games that cna be run on most tablets and smartphones

    Hello,
Your iPod's hard drive had probably gone bad. You may need to get your iPod inspected or its hard drive replaced by Apple.
Have you tried out all the suggestions contained in the links below?:

    - See the not-charging topic of:
    iPod touch: Hardware troubleshooting
    - Have you tried another cable?
    - Another charging source? Does iTunes see the iPod when you connect to your computer?
    - Look at the dock connector on the iPod. Look for abnormalities like bent or corroded contacts, foreign material and cracked or broken plastic.
    - Also, see the other topics of that article.
    - Restore the iPod.

  • I want to play games without the CD, please help.

    Hey everyone,
I've noticed that some people have their videogames (e.g. Warcraft, Starcraft, etc.), on their computer as a dmg. file, they mount the file, and then play the game right off of their hard drive, no need to lug around different CDs. So my question is, how is this done? I presume that you have to install the game first, but what do you do after that?
I'm fairly new to this aspect of Mac's (dmg files), so if anyone could give me a good idea of how to do this, I would greatly appreciate it.
    Thanks in advance.

It's not too hard actually. Have the install disk in your drive. Open Apple Disk Utility (use Spotlight to find it if you don't know where it is). On the left column click the disk, and select File > New > Disc Image from "Disk Name"
Follow the prompts, and you're all set really. There are image format options: Compressed will make it into a compressed .dmg, while CD/DVD master makes an actual copy to be burnt. You'll want .dmg, as that's what you asked to do. It will make an exact duplicate of the disk.
    Cheers.

  • My ipod doesnt want to turn on completely and even if i plug it into itunes it wont turn on. i was wondering if there is a way i can get all my photos back from my ipod ?

in the beginning my ipod was working fine and then came to a point that i can only use it while it is connected to a charger. my brother went to go fix it so then everything was working fine. & a month or two later the apps on my ipod would stop working . i would open it but then they would just shut back down. & i told my brother about it and he said all i had to do was reset the ipod. so he did that and the apps where working fine. then 10 minutes later i pressed one of the apps and the ipod turned white and shut off. now all it does it shoes the apple then it goes white and turns off again. i really want to get my pictures back because they are important.

Connect the iPod to your computer and let it charge for a couple of hours. The try to backup the iPod

    Then
    Photos
    - If they are in an iPod backup then restore an iPod, iPhone or iPad from that backup. See the restore topic of:

    - If they are in the iTunes backup then get them from the backup by:
Recover iPhone, iPad or iPod photos from backups with Picturescue
    or
iPhone Backup Extractor for Windows and Mac
    - If you used PhotoStream then try getting them from your PhotoStream. See that topic of:
iOS: Importing personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer
To try to make your iPod work see the following. It may end up erasing the iPod:
    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • Ipod doesnt want to work now

    Hi,
I have had an IPOD shuffle for about 2 months now and it has worked perfectly fine on my pc. But last week my ipod just went dead. I was about to play some music when the lights on my ipod started flashing alternatly. When I got back home I plugged my IPOD into the same USB slot as I have been using for the past 2 months, XP and itunes cannot find the IPOD, I have reinstalled the drivers for the IPOD several times, I have also tryed every USB slot on my pc, and i have taken out any other USB connections that have been recently added since I have had my IPOD.
    Please can someone help me!!

Many people, including myself, are having the same problem and Apple doesn't seem to have a solution. I've spent 2 weeks trying different cures, but to no avail.

  • My ipod doesnt want to reset or charge

Omg im going crazy. Okay my boyfriend got my ipod wet last week or so. I tried resetting it and the apple logo shows but then after the little ipod with the sad face shows. When I toggle the hold buttom and then try to reset it, it then shows the battery meaning it needs to be charged but when I try to charge it, it doesnt charge. What should I do???

You should perform a restore on your ipod, that will take it back to factory settings and might fix some of the problems. If that doesn't work, post back and we can help you more. It could very well be that the batter got wet and now it won't hold a charge. If this is the case, then you should see if your warrenty covers accedents like that, if it does, take it back to the apple store and show them what is wrong with it, if not, then you might have to replace the ipod battery.

  • Want to play games from my iPad on tv using apple tv?

    Helle

Follow the instructions from the Pill's manual to pair the iPad and the Pill.
Once paired it should be automatic, as soon as you start playing music it will be sent to the Pill.
