My Ipod got stolen so I deleted it from "allowed" devices on my Apple settings

However, now that it is deleted I cannot freeze it. So can anyone advise how to access the serial number and freeze the device?

1. Does not work for the reasons already given (although I am much wiser about the matter)

3. I contacted Apple and they said that by not having downloaded the "where is my IPhone" app it cannot be deauthorised. So without the serial number, I cannot report it to the police. However to protect my accounts
I have deactivated my credit card on Itunes
Changed passwords on Hotmail, Spotify and Facebook and Linked In
Not sure what else can be done ?
