My ipod touch has blank screen. Turns on screen just lights up with nothing on it and can't go any further.

Ok, I have an ipod video that I just got from the apple repair shop about a week ago, and it's not working at all. I'm pretty sure I got a virus on it from a song, but I can't do anythign because the computer won't read it. It's had plenty of charge, I had it plugged into the wall for hours and then plugged it into my computer and it doesn't even read it, and when it's plugged in I can't even open iTunes. My 30gig video 5th generation Ipod has a blank screen!

Now it won't even play anything. The screen just has lines on the left side, sometimes you can see the screen, but 99% of the time is blank.

IPod has a blank screen and won't do anything?

I took out my iPod 5th gen to check the time and it was fine. Then I took it out 5 minutes later and it had a black screen so i clicked the home button. Nothing happened. I've tried the power button, the home button, holding down the power button, and plugging it into a charger and nothing has helped. It's still on a black screen and won't respond to anything I do. What should I do?

i think ipods are generally set to enable disc mode, so you can use it as a storage device, by default (if yours isnt, plug your ipod in, and go into options to select enable disc mode). just connect the ipod with whatever cord it came with to your computer, then look into the m.. is it called "my harddrive" or "harddrive"? and you should see the ipod connected there on the left side of the window with "network" and "music" etc. if you click on the ipod icon, you can drag and drop files into your ipod just as you would any other folder and use it as a harddrive.
the tricky thing is using it for both pc and mac. i think if its formatted for a pc, you can use it on both macs and pcs. but if you have it formatted for a mac, then only macs can read it.
so if you want to use it on your friends pc as well, format your ipod on a pc first so you can use it on both platforms.

Apple Cinema 23" on a PC? can't get it to work just has a blank screen?

Sorry this may have been asked a million times but i have a 23" cinema HD display and i'm try to connect it to a laptop PC with the convertor to vga and no matter what i try it has a blank screen with the white power light. I have tried to change the res to the lowest it doesn't work what am i doing wrong please help!!

You can't use a simple VGA to DVI adapter, since VGA doesn't have the digital video signals needed by Apple displays. You need a VGA to DVI converter, such as
