My Ipods screen just went totally blank white and my home button doesn't work anymore any #Advise ??
i've seen the other videos i can do it but my home button doesn't work ??

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
When it says place the iPod in recovery mode
Place the iPod in recovery mode using one of these programs:
For PC

If necessary:
Download QTMLClient.dll & iTunesMobileDevice.dll for RecBoot
and

For MAC or PC
The Firmware Umbrella - TinyUmbrella
Installs blootware on PC too
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

its screen is white and my lock button does not work i can sometimes bearly see the screen which hepls me find my assistive touch. My friends have told me to put it into recovery mod, but this will not work because of the lock button being broken.

Then restore to factory settings/new iPod. If still problem you have a hardware problem.

Hello my name is Leslie and i would like to ask you guys a question on how to fix my ipod or what is wrong with it. My ipod touch 5th generation will not turn on and the home button doesn't work. what can i do to fix it ?

Has the home button worked in the past, or is this been something that hasn't worked for some time? The only way to reset the device is with the sleep/wake (power) and home buttons together. Without it, you would have to wait until the battery dies and then plug it in to try and reset it. The Home button is used for several user troubleshooting steps. Without it, you cannot perform a reset, put the device into recovery mode, or place it in DFU mode. You need to get the home button repaired.

My ipod got damp one day(but still worked for a week or two after that). the screen is white now when i turn it on. i know where the buttons are so i can still listen to music but cannot see anything. what do i do??

Did you already try this?
Display shows white screen
Turn iPod touch off and turn it on again.
If the iPod will not turn off, try to reset it. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until either the Apple logo or battery symbol appears. If the battery symbol appears, continue to charge iPod touch until it is fully charged.
If that doesn't work, try restoring the iPod. See this article for assistance.
